Average Mexican food. Not authentic at all. The chips and salsa were the best part. The salmon taco my husband ordered was very good and something I would order again. The shrimp taco was disappointing. The shrimps were very small and tasted as if they were previously frozen. The steak taco was very dry and chewy. There was no seasoning or flavor. I don't think I would return for the tacos or recommend. Hopefully I can have a better experience if I come back.

We had an okay experience at Boca Taqueria. My shrimp taco with the pineapple salsa was my favorite bite. My chicken taco and my boyfriend's beef taco were just okay. He said the beef tasted like it was just crock-pot beef, not chargrilled. Chips were served room temperature and the salsa and guac were okay, nothing to write home about. They don't serve beer and alcohol but they do have a frozen margarita machine, but we skipped it. They didn't have a salsa bar the public could access, only the cashier could pass out so that was a bummer too. All in all, we'd probably skip over Boca Taqueria.

Stopped by hear during happy hours. Got the taquitos and chimichanga. It felt a like it had lesser stuffing inside especially for the chicken one. Other wise it was still good with a nice crunch and queso dip. Their horchata was good as well.

    Comfy spot.

Great food, clean restaurant and the best salsa I've found since moving to Arizona. They usually have whatever sporting event we want to watch on TV.

Like I said, I came back!! I suggested this place for a lunch with a friend and we both enjoyed our meal (to no surprise). They are consistently delicious, quick, and affordable. The tacos are LOADED with meat, no Chipotle workers over here!!! The chips and salsa is enough to share with 3, maybe 4 people. It's gigantic. Stop by!!! Go from 2-5pm though so you get their happy hour deals:)

I've been past Boca for quite some time now and we finally had the opportunity to stop in for lunch following a doctors appointment and honestly it wasn't what I was expecting it to taste like. Now it wasn't terrible or bad it had a sweet taste to the steak burrito and the salsa. I ordered a BRC burrito now the refried beans were nice and creamy like they were made fresh and not out of can with a fresh wam tortilla. My boyfriend ordered a steak burrito and the steak to tortilla ratio was good the marinade itself is what killed the taste of the bite size pieces of steak it was super sweet as well as the salsa it's just not what I'm use to tasting when biting into a burrito I just have to say that it's not for me so if you like a sweeter version of Mexican food then its definitely a place for you. The customer service itself is good and the food does come out to your table quickly there's also outside dining where you can bring your four begged friends with you to eat.

The family and I went here for an early dinner. Decent menu offering and ample seating inside. They have a sweet salsa which was surprisingly good. While I liked the tacos and glad they had some kid menu options. My husband had their burrito and got food poisoning. Won't be coming back here.

    Burrito

Ordered burritos and the tortilla was raw. Had to cook it myself and it fell apart. Tasted so bad too. No flavor in the meat or anything. Green salsa is so sweet now. I don't know what happened here maybe they changed management or cooks.

    bathrooms were cute & clean!

Great place to eat. Great prices and a step up from the small fast food Mexican places around. Fun atmosphere too.

We don't need to be ecstatic, but happy would have been nice. The first drink was a horchata cocktail that you could feel the gritty powder on your tongue so we sent that back. The salsas and guacamole all had way too much lime, almost like they used concentrate to make them. The filet was good but lacked salt, the skirt steak was like old meat or maybe had been thawed and re-frozen as it had a very reddish tough texture and the carbon taste wasn't appealing. The server, Josh?, was very nice and so he gets a star. The fideo (not the burrata part) gets a star The music list gets a star Sorry, the meal wasn't worth $400 otherwise, but maybe that's not the goal as the vibe is definitely a cocktail spot.

He also ordered a tamale since he really liked it last time. I had the #13 which is 2 Chicken or Beef Rolled Taquitos topped with sour, lettuce, cheese, and guacamole with rice & beans. Our server was a lady that makes the food. I'm guessing one of the owners. She was not a very good server. She did not check on us much. We waited a long time to get our check. Hubby didn't receive the tamale. When hubby told her about the tamale she said they were out of tamales & she forgot to tell him. That's because she never came back to the table. She said she needed to make more of them. They were much busier than the last time we were here. Hubby loved his food. This is his favorite Mex restaurant.
