We had a wonderful experience at BoDocks! We ate on a Friday evening and with a large group. We didn't have to wait too long at all! There are so many seating areas. We were seated by the stage, so it was loud. We weren't able to really talk much. My advice is that if you want to chat, ask for a table further away from the stage. It definitely didn't ruin our evening. I started with a blackberry vodka drink and it was refreshing and delicious. My husband and I also shared the crispy tuna bites. The crispy tuna bites were so delicious! They were light, refreshing, and crispy! I loved the sauce drizzle as well as the seaweed salad on the dish. For my main I had the hot honey heaven pizza. If you have had the Pints and Quarts pizza and love those, you will be very pleased with the pizzas here. Very delicious! We will be back for the crispy tuna, pizzas, and to try other menu options. Service was great for a busy Friday night as well! So happy BoDocks is open! read more

We came in for dinner on Tuesday, 6/10/26 around 8:30pm and sat outside on the patio, it was a gorgeous night! The newly renovated space is so clean, modern and well laid out. 2 MASSIVE bars inside and a couple bars outside for when they have live bands. The new bandstand is great and overall the space feels much safer than when it was Dockers. For our cocktails: I had the house infused blackberry vodka and club soda with lime, it was ever refreshing. Mr had the tequila old fashioned, he said "it was fine", felt like it had too much bitters. We ordered 2 walleye sliders for an app, but they came with our dinner unfortunately, but not the end of the world obvi. They were SO good! HUGE pieces of fish on buttered and griddled buns with house made tartar sauce. I asked the server about the Poke Bowl. The description said "seafood salad" but no details of what was in it. Bless her heart, she said the seafood salad was a seaweed salad. I thought "interesting" and ordered it. In addition to the seaweed salad (which was tasty!) there was a big scoop of baby shrimp mixed with some kind of mayo, celery and seasoning. I didn't mind it, but I wish it had been colder. If seafood is going to be cold - it better be COLD. This was on the warm side of room temp. I didn't get sick so I'm assuming the shrimp was freshly cooked and mixed with the mayo business? The salad also included "spicy tuna" I was expecting small chunks of tuna, or something similar but it was akin to tuna pâté. It was good, but not what I expected. There were several other components of the salad that made it delicious, this fruity salsa, perfectly cooked rice and a gingery mustard dressing. I would get this again - minus the tuna and seafood salad, add grilled chicken. Or try something else all together. He had the Prime Rib dip with chips and house made onion dip. This was very tasty! The bun was griddled and had a garlic butter on the outside. A provolone cheese sauce and the au jus was flavorful. The meat was very tender, but didn't have a much going on by itself. But who cares? As a sandwich it was great! For me - the highlight was the walleye slider. One of the best fish sandwiches I've had. I'm getting two of those and fries next time we come in. The menu reminds me a lot of Pints & Quarts, a favorite of mine in Norton Shores (closed for the season while The Deck is open) and that makes sense since they are all owned by the Harris Family. We felt the prices were better than when it was Dockers, the service was WAY better and the redone space is not even in the same category as Dockers. We will be back for sure! read more

tried poke, but the experience missed the mark. Instead of fresh fish, i think they used canned tuna, which completely changed the texture and flavor you expect from a true poke dish. The mango salsa was too sweet, overpowering everything else on the plate, and the cucumber salad had a noticeable bitterness that made it hard to enjoy. Overall, it didn't resemble poke in any authentic sense, and the balance of flavors just wasn't there. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. It should be called Tuna salad! read more

Stopped by on our boat for our first visit since the renaming from Dockers and reopening . On a Thursday at 3 pm the docks were clear and easy to navigate . All new dock though it's the same size as before , and all new steps from the dock . More outdoor station and a huge indoor bar . Completely refreshed and. Diverse menu though the signature mussels are still there ! We sampled Caesar Salad with crispy walleye added as a protein . Ample serving and fried perfectly . Salad was fresh and dressing tasty . My wife tried the mahi tacos , now we are spoiled from all our time in Florida , and these were mediocre at best , fish not great quality , fishy tasting which is unusual for Mahi , served with Gordon foods tortilla chips , they could do better here . Our server was awesome , no beer on draft but a Great selection of canned options . Lots of frozen drinks for that summer vibe . We definitely will be back as it's an upgrade from the old Dockers . read more

I use to love dockers.. their mussels appetizers were sooo good. I was so excited when a new version of it opened up so I can get my faves. They basic have many of the same dish but bastardize it so badly in their quest to be faster. The mussels had a new sauce (NOT GOOD like old sauce) bread was a hoagie roll that did not warm through and stale. Bring back the good garlicky bread which made the appetizer awesome. The worse was their new version of the poke bowl. Everything was premade mush that they just scooped into a bowl and you are suppose to mix it... just tasted old and mushy... no freshness. I usually flog once a week in summer but now I have to find something else. So sad. read more

Very high priced food, not even good food...we ordered the $26 walleye and it was on the table within 5 minutes...how is that possible? Our bill was incorrect and the manager eventually fixed it a week later but she was rude about it. No way we will go back read more
