My family and I were craving seafood and wings. Went on yelp and pleasantly surprised to find a boil daddy near us. I've been to the corona location so I knew that if the food was anywhere close to the Corona location and this one will be satisfying . Well... This place was delicious. To be honest, I actually really liked the food at this location a bit more. We ordered the Boil Daddy shrimp bowl with a medium spice Boil Daddy sauce. We got the wings with the Boil Daddy wet sauce. My daughter had the fried fish and rice and the garlic noodles. Everything was fresh and it tasted amazing. Employees were very hospitable and welcoming as soon as we arrived and the restaurant was nice and clean. Also do yourself a favor and order their fresh lemonade it's sooo good. What I really like about this Cajun seafood franchise is that your seasoning is not salty like most Cajun places. This one has just the right amount of garlic butter in Cajun spice. I will definitely be coming back to this location whenever I'm in the area. Or I may just make the drive to have some of the delicious and refreshing lemonade along with shrimp bowl. read more

this was my first time here and i don't typically write reviews but i felt like this place really deserved it not just because of the food, but the workers too! the flavors here were really good, and i would definitely come back in the future. also the workers were very welcoming! i noticed that there was a particular worker who constantly checked on all the tables to make sure everyone was enjoying their time, and i appreciated them for doing that. they were so friendly! lastly, i loved the environment of the restaurant, and i loved that this place closes late. it's a great place especially for those who have later work shifts! read more

It's definitely cheap, and honestly, you get what you pay for. The potatoes felt undercooked--still hard--and the sauce just wasn't hitting. It was super chunky, and I usually like to pour sauce over my white rice, but that wasn't even possible with this. What really threw me off, though, was the canned soda. If you're going to run it like a fast food spot or even a sit-down restaurant, at least invest in cups. I was a little put off being handed a can. I prefer my drinks cold with ice. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped for dinner after driving by it in the morning on our way to the aquarium. I am so glad we did bc the food is delicious! It was empty when we arrived and there was pop music playing. The owner is super nice and will answer any questions you have about the menu. We got their fresh squeezed strawberry lemonade and a peach iced tea along with the bag of peeled shrimp and the Cajun instant noodles. This is the only place that has already peeled shrimp! (I know, I'm lazy and sometimes want the seafood boil without the hard work/mess lol) I thought I misread the menu and it was just the headless shrimp when I saw it listed and still took some bibs and gloves back to eat with. We took the food to go since we had a long day but if we are ever in the area we would definitely go back! Went here during their viral promotion and left largely unimpressed. Service was lackluster albeit they only had two employees working kitchen and front house. However they kept forgetting our orders and would accidentally bring our food to the wrong tables. Also had to wait around 20 minutes for water after asking multiple times. The food also left a lot to be desired. I ordered shrimp, mussels, and crawfish and an order of buffalo wings and garlic fries. Wings were pretty solid actually but not like your traditional buffalo wing. Fries were solid too, good crunch and lots of garlic flavor. The seafood boil itself was the worst part. The crawfish had a really weird taste and texture to it. I know that it's frozen but i've had frozen crawfish before at other establishments and they've tasted fine but i don't know why it had such a weird funky taste here. Mussels were really small although they gave me such a large portion of it. Shrimp was fine. The boil also didn't come with a lot of sauce, so it felt like i was just eating boiled seafood at times. The sauce itself was nothing special, very garlicky if you're a fan of that but not as flavorful as any other place. My favorite parts of the boil were actually the potatoes, sausage, and corn. Potatoes and sausage weren't exceptional by any means, just standard but better than the seafood. I'll give credit where it's due, the corn was great, it was extremely sweet and juicy. If there was something i'd come back for it would be a bag full of it. Overall I just don't think there's much to be excited for. At the prices you'd be paying for (non promotion) you're better off elsewhere imo. Also just a bit weird how some of the 5 star reviews are brand new accounts with only 1 review and that being this place. just something to take into account when considering the reviews. read more
