Come hungry!!!!!!! Good deal for the amount of food you get at this local spot for hot pot! It's worth the splurge because you can stay as long as you want during operating hours of course, and the portion sizes they bring you are huge! Try it all! Plenty of free parking! Service was friendly and our waitress tried hard!

Loved this place! It's a bit of a hole in the wall, tucked into a shopping center that seems to be struggling a bit. As is the case, there's plenty of parking in the area. When we went, they were not accepting reservations, though it's not clear if that was a situational thing or if that's how it always is. There were plenty of tables, so it all worked out. They have a full bar, and had some drink specials, even on a Saturday night. When you sit down, you will find a piece of paper with all the ingredients you can choose. We selected 2 broths, Tom Yum and House, and then several meats, fish and veggies. I especially appreciated that the Ingredients were grouped by how long they should cook in the broth. Once you've made your selections, they will bring out a pot to set on the hot plate. Then they'll bring out your selections! Remember, you can cook things a little at a time. No need to throw everything in at once. This is a nice group or date meal/experience. I would also recommend going in person to this restaurant, rather than takeout, given the experience element!

In the words of my daughters, this dining experience was a 10/10! The food was delicious! Everything was fresh and proportioned just right. The broths were seasoned well. This food was so good and we ate to our heart's delight! The ambiance is laid back and can accommodate multiple persons per group. This experience would be best with two or more people. The service was amazing. James, the host was fantastic as was Malika, our server. Malika was personable and knowledgeable about the experience. She was awesome!

Boiling Pot I was taken here by a friend. Nice decor. The pots were huge and the meat and vegetables were fresh. Really nothing to complain about. I've been to many Hotpot establishments and this one is a solid restaurant. Our waiter was excellent. Overall a good experience. One last thing, the white rice bowl was huge. Nice. Not AYCE but decent. Recommended.

First time. Ada took care of us. She was very nice and informative. Very attentive as well. The restaurant was kind of busy when we got there but the food came out quickly. Everything was very good and huge portions. The broth had amazing flavor and everything seemed fresh. Would def be coming back.

Decided I wanted unlimited seafood today and the Boiling Pot was the perfect place. As soon as I ordered my food came out in about 15 mins If that long. I couldn't even order another round because it was so much food. I've been here a few times and I enjoy all options and I will return.

Highly recommend coming here! Such a fun experience. You pay about $35 for all you can eat and the food is so good! Our waiter was so nice and we had such an amazing experience. That atmosphere is pretty laid-back but the cooking style is so cool that this is a great spot for dates or special events.

Food was amazing y'all!! Wanted a new Asian experience restaurant to go to with my friend and this was top notch!! The Miso base and the SM base was what we got! Might change the last one to curry next time and see how that one is. The service was good!! The waiter was so patient with us and honestly that made the experience so much better! Also shout out he had awesome slick back early 60s hair!we got a lot of veggies and pork belly with the beef option. WARNING the meat is a lot so do one or two at a time guys!! Get the udon noodles the ramen was just pasta. Sauces were fabulous. Ambiance was dim and thankfully due to when we can was calm! Will definitely be coming back!

    Very frozen seafood. Unusual.

Been to many hot pot restaurants from North Carolina to California and this was one of my least favorite. Service was pretty much non-existent, food quality was mediocre and no sauce station? What?! Unheard of. We saw that there wasn't a sauce station so we ordered some sauces from the menu, they NEVER came and we didn't see our waitress until the end of the meal and at the point the sauce was no longer needed. Yes, they give you some basics like Chinese bbq sauce, garlic, very watered down peanut sauce, onions and soy sauce but where was the vinegar? Ponzu? Sesame oil? Oh and order what you want at the beginning because they won't be back to ask you if you want anything more. What was really mind boggling was the frozen solid seafood. The meatballs were frozen together in a block of ice, the oysters are the frozen kind you get from the Korean market in a freezer section and the shrimps were the frozen kind too. The shrimps had no flavor at all. The beefs we ordered were okay but the pork belly was not good. Crab Rangoon was decent but the gyoza needed seasoning on the meat. It's sad to say that at a hot pot restaurant the only decent thing was the crab Rangoon. If you don't know hot pot, this place will probably do. But if you do, you'll be disappointed. If you do go, don't forget to get the veggie essentials for the your hot pot: watercress, tong ho, baby bok choy and Chinese cabbage.

Hot pot with a miso broth and a Szechuan broth. Brisket pork belly veggie platter, noodles, etc. so good

This spot seemed like a hole in the wall. We came at an awkward hour between lunch and dinner. So was a little skeptical at first. Ended up having an AMAZING MEAL! The staff was very nice as well. They gave us a to go container for the left over broth (very little left over) that I diluted with chicken stock and miso at home for another great soup. Flavor was exceptional at the meal. Highly recommend the miso and Szechuan brotha but will be trying more in the future.

If you're looking for AYCE hot pot, this is the place in Charlotte to go. They also serve seafood boil and Asian entrees, which I've never personally had. When you get hot pot, you get to choose your broth, meats, seafood, veggies, noodles, and any appetizers. We got the Tom Yum broth split with the House broth. Both broths were tasty, the Tom Yum was nice and tangy. You're given a plate of ingredients to make your dipping sauce, which results in a tasty sauce, however I would prefer a bigger selection of ingredients. Everything came out at once and categorized(meats, veggies, seafood). All you gotta do is boil the food until fully cooked, dip it in your dipping sauce and enjoy! Everything tasted really good. The only critique I had was that despite not being busy during lunch, the server only checked on us once and the hot pot broth never got refilled with stock as it evaporated from the pot, but by then, we were wrapping up our meal. COVID precautions noticed: tables were distanced at least 6ft, staff and patrons were masked, and giant bottles of sanitizer all around the bar for use. If you're craving hot pot and you're in the Northlake area of Charlotte, this is a good place to stop by.

    Monique W.

Unfortunately we got to the restaurant around 9:00 and they discouraged us from doing the all you can eat hot pot because we didn't have a lot of time however we did get the hibachi and it was delicious. They're fried rice is it the best I've ever had but it's good enough. They give great portion sizes so you will not leave hungry. I definitely plan to go back to try the hot pot.

    Seafood ramen

This hidden spot is in a strip mall off of Harris Blvd. I was looking for something different and I had been wanting to try them for some time. I wasn't really sure what I wanted so it took me several minutes of going over the menu before deciding on the ramen but customized it with just seafood and veggies. The waitress wasn't sure what seafood would be included in the ramen so it took her a few times to confirm but eventually the ramen came out and I was surprised it was so good and the portion was so much, I took most of it to go. I also had a bahama mama that was really good as well. No complaints on my first visit.

Not the worst thing in the world but when you're sitting at a bar alone it's hard not to notice. Fortunately another bartender came over, clocked that I was just sitting there unattended, and immediately smiled and handed me a menu before taking both of our orders. She turned it around quickly and that kind of awareness goes a long way. Shoutout to her. I ordered a 3oz pour of Syrah -- pretty decent, did the job. We didn't order food so I can't speak to that. The overall vibe was chill and low key for a late Friday night, which was exactly what we needed. Would come back for a proper visit earlier in the evening and give the food menu a real shot.

You could tell they were very busy, so it took a while for a host to come and seat us. Once seated, it then took a while for a server to come to the table. Natalee eventually dropped by with some water, and admittedly let us know they were short staffed for the night. However, after she greeted us, her service remained attentive throughout the course of our meal. Now for the food, everything came out quickly, but one by one as it was ready. The roasted beets came first, which I expected because it was the only item we ordered that didn't need to be cooked. The pistachio butter and goat cheese really complemented each other well. Then came the empanadas and croquetas. Both came out piping hot, so we had to let them sit before trying. The stuffing inside of the empanada was very flavorful, and the croquetas are some of the best I've had in the city. Lastly, the calamari, shrimp, and mussels came in succession. The aioli served with the calamari was delicious and the breading was perfect. My friend ordered the shrimp and mussels, which I didn't try, but both were sizzling upon arrival and she thought they tasted great. Our drinks came in between the food items and while they were good, my friend had to send hers back due to the lack of juniper berry. When Natalee returned with the corrected drink, my friend was able to taste the difference immediately and finally enjoy it. As for my drink, I'm not big on dry red wine, but with the added components, I could barely taste it. We both thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered and we will be back! Additionally, this restaurant does validate parking if you park in the attached garage on the side with the ticketed entry. If you use the QR code to prepay, they will not be able to refund what you spent, so be wary.

Monday night, half price wine by the glass or bottle, all of them on the list! Love when they do that without limitations. So we went with a glass of champagne! Because why not when it's half price! We started with the prosciutto carpaccio, paper thin prosciutto with olive oil, and fresh Parmesan and fresh greens, white balsamic and hazelnut. This was amazing, just yummy. The roasted mushrooms, come on a sliced yogurt, with verde hummus, and sumac onions. Again so flavorful and so many different things going on in this dish. Highly recommend this. The short rib bolognese. A fabulous small plate, but plenty for two . This sauce was so good with the fresh grilled bread they serve. The pasta was perfectly cooked, spinach flavored. Truffle ricotta, and crispy prosciutto on top, nice pieces of short rib too. This was an excellent dish. My friends and I got the Crab Brik, Wagyu Burger, Shakshuka, and Avocado Toast. The Crab Brik came in little triangular wontons that were fried to perfection. I think real crab meat was used which is always nice. There was some aioli on the plate, but certainly not enough to dip with meal in. The Avocado Toast was recommended by our server and it was a top tier choice! It had chili dukka on it so everything from the eggs, sourdough bread, and avocados tasted very seasoned, despite the dish sounding a bit plain. They do not skimp out on the avocado here. My friend said the Wagyu Burger tasted good and I tried the Shakshuka (for the first time in my life) which tasted very tomato-y but still yummy with the bread! We arrived around 5:30-6:00 PM and were told the next available table wouldn't be until 8:30, so we ended up sitting at the bar instead. Luckily, the barstools were comfortable, so I didn't mind at all. The service was great--fast, attentive, and the bartenders were really friendly. The drinks were also really good. I had a lychee martini that was strong but delicious. We also tried a few of their shots--they had a unique, acquired taste. The only one I didn't enjoy was the Hierba shot because the aftertaste reminded me of licorice, which I'm not a fan of. But if you like licorice, you'd probably enjoy it. As for the food, everything was amazing. The yuca balls were a 10/10. We also had the "Pulpo Anticuchero", which was a Spanish style octopus that came with roasted potatoes that were cooked perfectly--crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, very fresh and flavorful. I ordered the arroz con mariscos (seafood rice), which included calamari, octopus, squid, and more. It was really good, and the portion size was huge--definitely enough to feed 3-4 people, so keep that in mind when ordering. The ambiance was really nice as well. The music was good and not too loud, which made it easy to enjoy the overall vibe. Overall, I'd give this place a 10/10.

It's different for a traditional sushi/sashimi and different from a conventional ceviche you may find in Central America. I always stick with any of the nigiri and tiratado. If you want more of their traditional ceviches they have that as well. Pair the tiratado with their tostones - *chefs kiss We did venture and try the New York strip - it was fine, I didn't think the steak had enough time to rest so it's lost the sear it probably had when it got to our table. Probably will favor ordering more of the fish items again next time! Service is exceptional. The music is bumping and the interior is gorgeous and modern. Will be returning next time I'm in town!

10/10 -- highly recommend this place!…read more From the moment we walked in, we loved the atmosphere. The vibe was fun and welcoming, the food was outstanding, and our server went above and beyond to answer all of our questions and make recommendations. Our group tried the duck, steak, lengua, and carne asada tacos, and every single one was delicious. The duck taco was the standout for me--the crispy fried duck skin added the perfect texture and flavor. We also shared the Para la Mesa with sweet corn on the side, empanadas, and churros for dessert. The empanadas were incredible, especially with that amazing sauce that had just the right kick of spice. The wagyu steak from the Para la Mesa was another favorite, cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. And I can't forget to mention the warm, fresh tortillas--they were absolutely delicious and elevated every bite. Sometimes it's the little details that make a meal memorable, and these tortillas definitely did. If I had to pick my top three items, they would be the duck taco, the wagyu steak, and the empanadas. A special shoutout to our server (I wish I remembered his name!). He introduced us to mezcal tequila, which none of us had tried before, and it ended up being such a fun experience that made our evening even more memorable. Great food, great service, amazing drinks, and a fantastic atmosphere--we'll definitely be back!

The steak was perfectly cooked, the papa's were delicious. We got the plantains as an appetizer and those were great as well. My favorite drink there is the Yucatan, but this time I went with one of the specials, the Rosalita. It was also fantastic! You really can't go wrong at Puerta.
