I ordered a large bowl with comes with 2 bases, 2 veggies, 2 proteins, 2 sauces. For my bowl, I got kale salad, sweet potato noodles, zucchini, brussel sprouts, teriyaki chicken, salmon, tomatoes, and pickled red onions with herb pesto and sweet chili mayo sauce. The large bowl is quite hefty and ended up being 2 servings for me. I liked my choices but I think I would swap out the zucchini with a different veggie next time since I didn't really like the flavor the tuscan zucchini. read more

Large comes with 2 bases, 2 vegetables, 2 proteins and 2 sauces What I have ordered: Bases: Spring mix Potato noodles - yummy Vegetables: Mushrooms Broccoli Zucchini Chimicurri tomatoes All is good, I think it just depends on what you're in the mood for. Sauces: Sweet chili mayo - BOMB Creamy garlic - delicious Boltiful spicy - not too spicy, but good Protein: Teriyaki chicken - good flavor Shrimp - so big! Salmon - soo good (my favorite) Barbacoa - soft, flavor is there I would get everything again, I think it's just depends on what I'm craving at the moment! It can get a little pricey since for proteins anything other than the tofu, teriyaki chicken and lemon chicken is an additional cost ($3-$4) but I think it's worth it because everything tastes really fresh Make sure to sign up for their rewards program to get deals! Boltiful is a must try! We stopped by here for a quick lunch and were surprised to find such a delicious meal. It felt very similar to a Poke restaurant or Panda Express where you choose a base or two (noodles, rice, or spring mix, kale mix, among others), a veggie or two (brussels sprouts, beans, broccoli, potatoes, and others), and a protein or two (tofu, miso glazed salmon, teriyaki chicken, shrimp, lemon chicken, barbacoa). Most of the choices were Asian flavored which we liked. We went with a preset shrimp bowl with Korean style japchae noodles, spinach, shrimp, and potatoes. Second bowl we created our own with kale salad and japchae again since the owner Bob highly recommended it. We added brussels sprouts, beans, tofu, and miso glazed salmon. Bob was nice enough to explain how it was a mix of healthy and deliciousness in the same bowl. It's exactly what I've been looking for in a quick eats type of spot. He even gave us some samples, so try them! If I had to do it all over again, I'd go with japchae noodles, spring mix or kale salad, brussel sprouts and broccoli, and teriyaki chicken and miso glazed salmon. Got the miso tofu bowl. Not bad, but nothing great or stand out either. The tofu was a bit too hard (way it was cooked) for me. I feel like everything could overall use more flavor. I orders online ahead of time (on Yelp), but when I got there the 1st person helping me said someone already picked it up. When I questioned how that's possible she said she didn't know but someone took it already. Frustrated, I asked for another bowl and paid for it. As I was paying, another person comes up to me and asked if I ordered online. I said yes but was told someone else took it. I'll work on that refund request later. He then said oh it's here... take this (higher cost because it was online order) and we'll refund you for what you just paid. The whole situation was annoying and left me frustrated. read more

Well priced for the portion and pretty tasty. It would be better than Cava if they put less sugar in their proteins. Everything has a glaze with sugar-- Lemon chicken, miso glaze, teriyaki chicken. I feel even the pickles have sugar in it. While not that sweet, I rather have a saltier sauce. But Cava isn't her so I guess this would be a good place for an affordable meal. read more

I love that you can eat healthier at a more affordable price point! Definitely coming back to try their other items. I took off 1 star only because the 2 bowls I got with salmon were very dry. However the flavor was still very good. The workers were so nice and they actually recommended certain sauces to pair with the different bowls. I trusted them and man it was good! :) The restaurant was pretty packed when I came. They did have a few tables so you can dine in. It's a clean establishment so I do appreciate that. Great healthy customizable protein/veggie bowls, although a bit pricey. This place recently opened up (where Asian box used to be, RIP) and I wandered in, not sure what to expect. It works like getting a poke bowl-you order a base, a protein, toppings and a sauce. The bowls come in three sizes-kids, regular, and large. Premium toppings like salmon or beef Barbacoa can range from $1-4 extra on top of base price. Toppings I loved: the mushroom and the tofu are AMAZING. Definitely try those if you have the chance! Juicy and tender, and so flavorful. Toppings that were meh: the beef barbacoa. Paid $4 extra for this. I was disappointed because it tasted like something that had been warmed up from a frozen package. If you want good beef barbacoa which is cooked in store chipotle has you covered. I'll try the salmon next time. It's got a nice quiet ambience in the evening. The employees were very efficient and helpful with explaining how the process worked. read more

My family and I stopped here today looking for an easy stop off the freeway for lunch on a road trip, and this place absolutely fit the bill. Lots of options and everything was delicious. We sampled all the proteins and they were all delicious. Plenty of variety of options without having an overwhelming array. Delicious sauces. The sweet potato noodles were perfection. The service was great. Parking was relatively easy. Everyone in the family was happy with their choice. We'd be happy to stop by again if we find ourselves in the area. The only downside in my opinion was the kid's meal, which only gives two choices and has very small portions for the price. If we go again, I would grab a lunch for my kids from another one of the many restaurants in the center. read more

I miss the hainanese chicken rice, but this ain't a bad replacement. I recommend getting lemon or teriyaki chicken. The tomatoes and potatoes are a good add on. The potatoes have a rosemary taste to it. Broccoli is good. Salmon is large portion, but they do charge extra. I would skip on the beef unless you like lean, I prefer mine fatty. I went with the miso Salmon and it was so good! I tried the lemon chicken and it was so flavorful. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and there's time and love into what is made. Seen this place while in the area and the next day decided to try it out. You get 3 sizes to choose from. Very clean and friendly here. They make the food in little batches so it doesn't just get cold and bad sitting their that is why you don't see as much protein piled up since they make a little at a time so it is fresh which is always good to know. I got the regular size and got rice and noodles (little spicy but delicious) also got garlic broccoli (it was okay has a weird after taste) and the spicy Thai shrimp( very good has a little curry after taste) and got a bunch of toppings like tomato's which were great to cut off the taste of everything and refresh your palette. Also got pickled red onions which were yummy to add to the meal. The garlic sauce which was suggested was good as well you can get sauce ln the side which I might do next time. Great service and while not really my thing, the food was tasty and quality ingredients well prepared. Not really a salad place per se, more of an Asian Fusion Bowl place with an interesting chipotle like approach to the process.
