This was a first! I have never stood in line for 3hrs for a biscuit. I'm not a biscuit lover in the least but this restaurant came highly recommended to me and my daughter really wanted to try it out. After being in line for 45min I was pot committed and didn't think the wait was going to be much longer. And for some reason the to-go line was much longer than the eat in line. While standing in line I learned that the restaurant was new and went from their food truck to an actual location so they are still working out a lot of kinks with the staff. The staff was very friendly. The only thing I wished they would have explained was that you can customize your biscuit. They had 2 menus set out and said for to-go menus that you must order from the to-go menu only. We'll later during my 1hr wait after ordering my food a staff member told me, no you can customize your biscuit to add extra toppings. So, I have to admit YES the biscuits were sooo worth the wait! They were out of pimento cheese and OG Cinna-bun which I was a little disappointed about. For that length of time I wanted to try everything. I ordered a hash brown with the dynamic sauce. The sauce was great but the patty dripping with grease and it was a bit pricy for the size. The B'Onuts were also a bit soaked in grease. But the biscuits!! Delicious! I really wanted to experience this place I really did... but unfortunately lack of communication is the reason I didn't. My brunch group brunch once a month and the founder of my brunch group always communicate with the restaurant ahead of time to confirm headcount, reservations, time, accommodations etc... when she reached out to this place several times she received no response. We decided to brunch here anyway. When we arrived we were told maybe a 30-40 minute wait which was ok because we were early for our group meet up time. We waited for over an hour and decided to ask where we were on the wait list. We were told another 30mins. So we waited and waited... Still no text or call concerning our table. We unfortunately decided to regroup and find another near by restaurant. Once we left and arrived at our new location we were seated immediately and our orders and drinks were taken. This was at least an hour later and we finally received the text from Bomb Biscuit that our table was ready It's ok Bomb Biscuit we have you on our calendar again I believe in second chances and I really want to try your biscuits! We made a reservation and were seating immediately. The biscuits were good but we left hungry. We had very high hopes because of Michelin so maybe that was our fault. Had to find nearby street parking. It was reasonably priced for sure. Seemed like there was a door next door for takeout and we assume they got lots of orders because our food didn't come super quick either. read more

This was an incredible biscuit!! I've heard Bomb Biscuit has some of the best biscuits and wasn't disappointed. The biscuit was fresh and flaky and very tasty. The chicken was cooked and flavored very well and the perfect amount of crispy. I did order the sandwich Togo this time around, but next time I stop by I'll try dining in! It is really convenient that there's a separate Togo counter though. Next time I want to try the jalapeño cheddar biscuit and add pimento cheese to my sandwich, because I think the only thing I was missing was a little bit of spice!! Most of their food is very unseasoned/under seasoned. Their chicken and other proteins rely heavily on the sauces for flavor, but the chicken was good. The breakfast potatoes were sad and colorless and hot sauce with ketchup barely made it palatable. Visited the new location and it's beautiful. Placed a take out that took about 30 minutes to fill. The establishment was busy and the gentleman taking orders was all about business. What a great spot! We had a chance to check out Bomb Biscuit on a Sunday morning, and it did not disappoint! I tried the sausage and egg biscuit, my husband had the hot honey, and we split the potatoes. Everything was absolutely delicious, especially the biscuit (and I'm particular about biscuits). I recently visited and ordered a biscuit sandwich and grits. My sandwich was enjoyable, but only a step up from a fast food biscuit with a price difference that doesn't match the quality, ie: overpriced for what it is. On the other hand, my grits were very good. The reason I won't be returning and the reason I will encourage my colleagues not to return is because I work on an ambulance and ordered my food to go then sat at a table to enjoy it. Who wants to eat in a vehicle without a table? I was told I couldn't sit at a table to eat to go food because I was taking up a table for a server. I went at a non-peak time when the restaurant was half empty. I was told I need to order my food for dine in and they could box it up for me "quickly" if need be- not a viable solution in my 10+ years working on an ambulance as it inevitably would delay someone's care waiting on a server. For this reason, no support of public safety and the unique challenge we present, I will not return. I hope that management takes this into consideration and will make exceptions in the future. read more

Decent food, good service and they were a little busy so we sat at the "lookout area". You are basically eating on a painted 2x8 and there is my issue. A average size plate is at least 6-7 inches and can barely fit on the 2x8 "table" without your food rubbing up against the plexiglass lookout area. A 2x12 would have been nice or maybe (2) 2x8s side by side so that you can comfortably eat your food. Might seem overly picky, and we did get the option to wait for a table but my suggestion would be to expand that space or not offer it at all. read more

This place popped up on Yelp and I had to try it. What a great decision this was. It's a small hole in the wall restaurant, in a building that has a couple of other restaurants/coffee shops. The ladies behind the counter are welcoming, charming and the restaurant is clean. We ordered the hot honey chicken, the lemon pepper, the country biscuit and the sausage and gravy. WOW WOW The hot honey chicken is crispy with just the right amount of heat and sweetness. The lemon pepper chicken is THE BEST lemon pepper I have ever had. The sausage gravy, is full of flavor and big chunky sausage. My husband inhaled the country biscuit before I had a chance to take a picture . The only tiny negative comment is that the biscuit needed a few more minutes in the oven. 5 STARS ALL THE WAY! I've been wanting to try this place for a while and I was NOT disappointed! Here's my excellent and one not so excellent feedback. Parking/Logistics: I'm always nervous about finding new places and parking in the city. So, I went early to make sure I could find a spot and beat the crowd. To my surprise it was super easy to find this restaurant, not far off of the interstate. The parking was a little confusing. There's a small gravel lot next to the plaza. Parking there is free. There are also parallel street parking. I'm not good at that, so I was glad to make my own spot in the back of the gravel lot. Seating/Atmosphere: I only saw the front of the restaurant. It was clean, nicely decorated. They have a separate entrance for togo, it's next door to the main entrance. Seems like a good place to relax with family or friends. Food: The food was great! I ordered multiple things. Chicken biscuit with grits, chicken and waffle, and sausage and eggs (more on this later), and a cinnamon roll. The chicken was juicy, tender, and delicious. The biscuit was nice and flakey. A++ for those. I'm not as much of a fan of the grits. They are different, not bad, but I wouldn't order them again. The eggs were eggs. Nothing too special there. BUT THE CINNAMON ROLL was heavenly. Oh my! I'm not a huge fan of cinnamon rolls in general, but this had to be one of the best ones I've ever had (fresh, hot, excellent). Service: The people who work here are SUPER nice. After the pandemic, I've noticed service not being on point at a lot of restaurants. (And I don't expect a lot.) Not here. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. My ONLY big critique is that my server was moving so fast she took my order wrong twice (maybe 3 times). The first time we caught it before we entered it into the system. The 2nd time was with my togo order. I only received 1/2 if it at first and when she entered the remaining she entered sausage and eggs versus sausage and egg biscuit. I was super disappointed.
