Hubby and I were overdue for a date night an opted for an early reservation at Bonefish (6:00 pm). The food was delicious as usual and the atmosphere was nice and relaxing! We ordered crab cakes as an appetizer which comes with two ( I forgot to take a picture) and my husband ordered the corn chowder soup with lump crab and I ordered a Caesar salad to go along with our appetizer. For our main course we ordered the dynamite salmon off their summer favorites menu, recommended by our server JJ, to share and they split it for us. We paired this with our chosen drinks, my husband ordered the crushed pineapple martini and I ordered the Tiki Mermaid, which was very tasty and came in a cool glass! I've dined at this restaurant at least 10 times and for some reason my reviews disappears!!! My last review was May of 2022 when I celebrated my 10 year Cancerversary!! You can tell by all of the posted photos that I'm a regular, especially, before the pandemic! I've wanted to try the Angler's Catch so I made my way on the last day. I didn't have a reservation so I grabbed a seat at the bar. The service was great as usual! I ordered a bowl of corn chowder with lump crab instead of Bang Bang shrimp this time and it was delicious Of course the bread with olive oil was also served. My meal was very hearty which consisted of two perfectly cooked cod filets and six large shrimp, fries and coleslaw. I guess I'll have some leftover for lunch tomorrow. Four of us saw that Bonefish was having their crab leg special! Wooohooo! We all love them and it was our friends birthday, their anniversary on the 26th...and an opportunity for a nice meal before a throat surgery for me. We had a great bar booth, ordered our fabulous crab legs, had a happy hour priced drink and appetizer bang bang shrimp...and were informed they were out of crab legs. Very cordial greeting by our hostess who took us to our table in a very welcoming dining room. Our server, Colin, was perhaps the most capable server I have ever had. He had a detailed description of every menu item we asked about. Throughout the evening, Colin was attentive, but not annoying. The next time we go back, I plan to ask if he is present. Met friends at Bonefish. It was a crowded night although we thought we were early by eating at 6pm We ate in the bar. It took awhile for the drink orders. There were 4 of us. My friend and I got our drinks but not my husband and other friend. About 20 minutes of waiting we called the manager over. We explained how long we were waiting and he said the bar was behind because they ran out of blue cheese olives. It was necessary for them to stuff more before making drinks (Really, my husband had a beer.). Who says that to a customer?? Drinks served onto dinner. I order cod imperial and asked if the server knew if any soy product was in it. No, she said after thinking for a minute. Meals came and after about 4 bites I felt ill. I, at first, thought I had eaten too much bread but that was not the case. I was suffering from an allergy attack. I was up and I'll all night. First thing this morning, I checked the nutrition guide for Bonefish and the list indicated that the cod did indeed have a soy product in it (My mistake was not checking before dinner) After realizing that I had ingested soy, I called Bonefish for to talk with the manager. Someone answered explained they were not the manager but would leave a message. Then he asked if I was asking for financial return for the illness. No, just mad and scared and wanted the manager to be aware. Of course, no call to me but I am calling back. If you plan on spending $200-300+ on a meal for your family you are better off elsewhere. The bang bang shrimp is a shadow of its former self, mushy and falling apart. The Cod Imperial topping was bland and the fish was dry. The seafood dip was mediocre. They were out of egg rolls. Our smallest ordered the kids shrimp and we asked if we could have a small cup of the kids Mac and cheese instead of the broccoli and the manager wasn't having it. Most likely to make us pay for a full side. Pro tip for the manager: If customers are spending hundreds of dollars you might want to consider accommodating a tiny thing like that. Everywhere else at these price points does and the cost is negligible. Not a huge deal in the end but a turn off nonetheless. Our server was good. Everything was very tasty: the Bang Bang shrimp appetizer of course, my dad's salmon with lemon butter sauce and the pineapple glazed shrimp that my mom and I got off the specials menu. I also enjoyed the white sangria with mango. Unlike some locations, this one did not have a revolving front door, making accessibility easier. Watch the step down from your booth, though, everyone! The second attempt was delivered with runny egg whites and yolk. The third attempt was delivered with semi-solid egg yolk and tiny pieces of ham smaller than the size of the English muffin. Packet hollandaise sauce from the grocery store tastes better than their sauce. I decided to call it over at that point. If you can't poach an egg after 3 tries, maybe you shouldn't be cooking. I haven't visited in a few years, and I was pleasantly surprised to find some old favorites on the menu (hello, bang bang shrimp), as well as some new delights. The Saucy Shrimp turned out to be a pleasant surprise, and the salmon pasta looked light and refreshing. One unexpected delight is the Bonefish cocktail menu. From sweet treats to smoky sips, you really can't go wrong. The wait staff was phenomenal and the service was pleasant without being overbearing. One note - the AC did not appear to be working properly, so that could be an issue if it goes unattended much longer, but overall I would definitely return once the climate is regulated within. read more

Off the bat, we were sat at the very first booth, closest to the door, which sat 6 people. There was only 2 of us. We quickly decided to move to the bar. We started with drinks. The smoked old fashioned was presented very nicely. It was a large pour and tasted pretty good. The French 75 also 2@was presented nicely and my date had no complaints. We decided in then tempura crunch sashimi for an appetizer. It was pretty meh. Despite having a lot to it, it didn't have much flavor. My date also got a side salad, which I had a couple bites. It also was pretty flavorless. The dressing was super light, almost non existent. The main dishes, however, were both very good. The Rockefeller Butterfish and Golden Corvina were both very flavorful. Both were cooked appropriately, had a good sauce and flavor. Also, the cole slaw was probably the best I've had at a national chain. The service was quick, but it was a Monday night and they lane was pretty dead. The servers and bar staff were all friendly. My better half knows how much I enjoy the seasonal Winter White Cosmo at Bonefish, as well as their food, so we went for an early dinner and seated ourselves at the bar. We were greeted promptly and had our first round of drinks served in short order. We each started with their house salad which is consistently fresh and crisp cold as well as a great portion size. We then shared the Tempura Sashimi appetizer followed by the Rockefeller Butterfish entrée from the Specials Menu with sides of green beans (seasonal veggie) and the creamed spinach (premium side). To be honest, I thought the butterfish portion was a little on the small side and I don't know that I'd classify the pieces of crab it was topped with as "jumbo lump crab" as the description stated, but it was still tasty. The bang bang ship was good. It's always good for the most part. The asparagus on my plate was greasy. The salmon was greasy my friend ordered fried cauliflower. Of course that was greasy and flavorless. If you didn't have a dipping sauce, you'd be lost of course I wanted to taste it without the sauce and the breading has absolutely no flavor, just wasted calories on a fried veggie. I had a $10 reward that I forgot to use sure could've used it to help pay for some of this. The potatoes were kind of paste like.
