I can't believe I have never been to Bonefish until now. Sat at a high top in the bar during happy hour. Enjoyed the wonton crisps and some chicken bites covered in delicious sauce. I also ordered a bowl of the corn chowder, which the server forgot to ring in (totally fine, it happens and we were vibing), when the bill came she had taken the chowder off for forgetting to initially ring it in! So sweet. The martini flight was fun but I personally would order something different next time. They have "social hour" everyday which is awesome. So I was told I'm too bougie for Bonefish lol. I love this place & idk who knows it. We arrived on Valentine's eve @5 pm & the place was starting to get really crowded. We grabbed a high top booth at the bar ( my favorite seat). Our group of four were strictly here for drinks & finger foods. Service started out slow but ended up being very good. Our server was efficient & all our food came out just as we ordered. What I like about bonefish is that if you order something there once and you go back and order it again it's always just as good. I've never been disappointed tonight. We ordered a bunch of special drinks off the happy hour menu the appetizers we ordered or off of the regular menu it's except for one which was on the happy hour menu that one was chicken egg rolls. These were well stuffed eggrolls with chicken and spices served with a pink spicy sauce and also a type of sweet duck sauce on the side. We also ordered the imperial dip Which is a seafood dip ( had some small shrimps) and cheese served hot with crispy house made tortilla chips. We all loved this one! Of course we ordered two orders of Bang Bang shrimp a Bonefish signature dish as well as,AHI TUNA WONTON CRISPS billed a seasoned and seared ahi tuna served on a crispy wonton with fresh slaw,Thai chili glaze and a chef-crafted wasabi cream sauce. This was very good but missing something. So I asked for soy sauce & drizzled it on top. This made the dish perfect! Good food, subpar experience though When we were seated, we realized we didnt get any utensils. Our appetizers were served but the runner went away so fast I didnt get a chance to ask for utensils so I walked up to the host stand to ask for them and they looked at me a little funny heh. Food was good but heavily salted from the olive oil dip that comes with the delicious crusty loaf of bread, to the chargrilled oysters, to the chimichurri sauce in the bistro filet. Today's service was top tier. Our waitress was very attentive and made sure to keep checking in. The food came out quick. We did not order any appetizers this time but I had the Parmesan Crusted Trout, house salad, and garlic whipped mashed potatoes. My hubby had the pork chop and same sides. I went to Bonefish on Monday after work. I was pleasantly surprised to learn the do $5 martini's on Monday! They also had 2 Wicked themed specialty martinis and specialty martinis are included in the $5 special. I went during happy hour and sat at a high top on the bar side. They were pretty packed on that side so the area was lively. The service was amazing. My server was very attentive and things arrived in a reasonable amount of time. I had the "Ozmopolitan" martini and it was really good. It was garnished with Galinda's wand and the drink included edible glitter. To eat, I ordered the Filet with a side of broccoli and a side shaved Brussel sprouts salad. Unfortunately the food wasn't the best. The steak was cooked to the temperature requested (medium. However the steak and broccoli lacked flavor. Also, I was disappointed in the shaved Brussel sprouts salad. The description does say it includes a spring salad mix, however there was hardly any shaved Brussels. Given the title of the salad, I expected them to be the lead, not mostly spring salad. Came here for an impromptu dinner. We had made reservations, so they were able to seat us quickly. Once we were seated, I took a look at the menu. They had a few specials, but I opted to get something I normally wouldn't get on the menu: chicken marsala. We also ordered bang bang shrimp for the table as an app and my little got their kids mac and cheese (which FYI he swears it's the best he's had). Our drinks came out and so did our bang bang shrimp. It was a larger portion and everyone dug in. It was good, the shrimp were coated well, not chewy, and the sauce was just right. First off, our server was this genuinely nice dude--bless his heart, he was all smiles and enthusiasm. But honey, he needed more training than a puppy learning to fetch. He mixed up our orders like he was DJing a remix of our appetizers, and at one point, I think he asked if I wanted my water "rare or well-done." Adorable, but chaotic. We tipped him well anyway--consider it tuition for Server School 101. Onto the food... Oh boy. Started with the Bang Bang Shrimp--you know, the famous one that's supposed to explode with flavor? Well, it exploded alright... right into a salt mine! It was so salty, I felt like I'd been marooned on a desert island and forced to lick the ocean floor. My taste buds were screaming, "Abandon ship!" Not learning my lesson, we tried the Calamari. Guess what? Also too salty! It was like the chef had a grudge against my sodium levels. Dined at Bonefish Grill and unfortunately the food was mediocre at best. My dad and I ordered the salmon dinner, which came with cole slaw and broccoli. Ironically, the cole slaw was probably the highlight of the meal. The salmon lacked flavor and was disappointing overall. My mother ordered oysters and a salad. She said the oysters were overly salty and lacked freshness and flavor. What made the experience even more frustrating was the service. There were only about five tables occupied in the restaurant, yet we still had to track down our server multiple times throughout the meal. I've dined at other Bonefish Grill locations and had much better experiences, but this one is definitely "one and done" for me. I don't know much about their menu. The fact is I can't bring myself to order anything else besides the Bang Bang Shrimp, but if the food on the menu is as good as the BBS your in good hands! Service is never a question here as it's always delightful. There may be a wait as Bonefish is a popular place for celebrations of all kinds and the perfect place for a romantic evening with a loved one. We shared the Bone Fish side salad, we forgot to add the blue cheese but highly recommend it! My entree was on the lobster specials menu. The lobster stuffed shrimp was delicious, I opted for the fries and broccoli as my sides. The fries dipped in the bang bang sauce are yummy, make sure to ask for the fries to be extra crispy. The Chilean Sea Bass was my husband's choice. The fish was cooked perfectly. I did not like that the goat cheese, artichoke, sun dried tomato topping was cold. I prefer the cheese warm and little melty. He order the bacon Mac and cheese and the diced potato's as sides. They were good but not spectacular. The ambiance, food, service, and staff meets all of my checkboxes. It was a special place to visit for the holidays. The food was phenomenal. The staffing was attentive and good at what they did. My only complaint is the staff was using the handicap/family bathroom rather than the regular bathroom. With an 86 yr old mother who uses a walker, the handicap one seater was preferred as the 'regular bathroom' had a heavy door to open and the handicap stall was a further walk, my request, tell your staff to use the regular bathrooms! read more

The server was efficient, bordering on disinterested. I ordered a pomegranate martini - usually a special treat for a special night. This time there was no garnish, no sugared rim, the glass even seemed smaller than before. Definitely not worth $9.50. It tasted good tough, and I still drank the whole thing! The server removed my empty glass and never even asked if I wanted another one. We made a reservation online, and there is a spot to designate if it's a special occasion. I listed that it was a Birthday, and no one even mentioned it. Don't ask if you're not going to do anything about it! (It was hubby's birthday not mine.) Lastly, since this is a fish/seafood place, it would be nice if they didn't use plastic straws, or at least, only pass them out upon request. We took our friend in from England for what we had hoped would be a memorable seafood dinner. The hour drive we hoped would be worth it. We met friends for a Christmas dinner. I have not eaten here in quite awhile so I was looking forward to it. We started with drinks. I ordered a sangria that was delicious. As a chain restaurant, Bonefish Grill is good one. Usually consistently good food and always excellent service. For the app, I got the Imperial Dip; a mixed shellfish dip consisting of shrimp, bay scallops (the small ones), and lump crab mean mixed with Parmesan and mozzarella cheese, topped with crispy bread crumbs and served with tortilla chips. The dip was tasty with nice chunks of shellfish in every dip of the chip. Recommend. For the entree, I got the night's special: Plank Salmon "Old Fashioned." Salmon grilled on a cedar plank, brushed with a Jim Beam bourbon maple glaze, finished with a Bordeaux cherry gastrique. It was a nice piece of salmon. The maple glaze and cherry gastrique were excellent. The cherries themselves were delicious. The salmon was cooked well and flaked effortlessly. The only fault was the side of sauteed spinach. My husband and I only tried Bonefish Grill because he attended a wedding reception held at a location in Orlando and raved about their food. Order: Italian seafood risotto, Bang bang shrimp taco, creme brûlée We were greeted upon entry and our order was taken in a short time frame. What's more surprising was our food was delivered shortly after. I was expecting to wait at least 15-20 minute but that wasn't the case. The risotto was served with shrimp and scallops and it was delicious. My husband said the bang bang shrimp wasn't as good in the taco as they were served by themselves as the appetizer. The creme brûlée was POOR. It tasted like they beat egg yolk with store bought ice cream. ‍. It wasn't creamy or silky tasting at all. Alongside the same note, our server wasn't up to par either. Take-Out Review: I've dined in a couple times at this location, but only ever for Happy Hour (their martinis are surprising; I say that because I don't even like martinis and I found theirs to be delectable). I called in my order ahead of time and they had it ready for me when I arrived. Very friendly and quick service - on the phone and in person. My meal showcased the Ahi Tuna steak with sides of mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. The sides performed well, but I was a little bummed about my Ahi. Side note: I LOVE Ahi Tuna. It's melt-in-your-mouth-!confusing-because-it's-raw-fish-but-like-not-really, and so stinkin' good that it makes even a boring salad bearable. I ordered mine medium (which the menu advertises as a "warm pink center/touch of red"), but when I cut into it, I literally went "awww" in disappointment. As you can see from the picture, it looks more like a medium-well to well-done temperature. No red in sight and no melting in my mouth here. It could simply stem from the fact that I ordered take-out, but for the $20 price tag I'd hope it would still represent what would be brought to the table. I will just order rare next time, I think! I also came armed with a Teal Deal coupon for a free Bang Bang shrimp appetizer. Everyone knows that theirs is UNPARALLELED and it's definitely a favorite in town.
