I compiled a review and deleted it. But here's my updated version: I always strived to visit a Bonefish when I am in Florida. However, my most recent visit was a bit of a disappointment... First of all, the menu seemed truncated from its previous version. More importantly to me, my favorite entree, grilled Rainbow Trout, was not listed on the printed menu. Only Parmesan-crusted Rainbow Trout was notated...but I was informed that they can prepare the grilled version. To my surprise, the grilled trout is now priced the same as the parmesan-crusted version- previously there was a noticeable difference in price. Do I still like Bonefish...yes I do (as long as they retain the bread service!). Will I make a special effort to visit one while in FL...not so sure. read more

My grandma loves seafood, and after a rough day, my mom and I wanted to treat her! Mom suggested Bonefish Grill since she'd gone before. We walk in and the place is moderately full. There's a refined seaside theme going on. Don't let that scare you though, I saw plenty of people wearing casuals! The bread was brought to the table and it was very tasty with the chimichurri olive oil provided to dip. It had a wonderful contrast with an acidic herbal twist at the end. There are plenty of wine and alcoholic options for anyone looking for a good drink! My grandma and mom both ordered the corn chowder and lump crab soup and shared the sirloin and shrimp with garlic-whipped potatoes and creamy parmesan risotto. Unfortunately, neither enjoyed the soup very much, with my mom noting that to her it was a bit too sweet. Grandma said there was a bit of a lack of corn flavour for her. They ordered their sirloin well done and said it was absolutely outstanding. Mom said it was one of the most tender she's tried. The whipped potatoes were creamy and the risotto was a pleasant texture addition to their meal. Sadly, I can't eat too much seafood, but they've got about five or so options for anyone who'd rather avoid a deep dive into the sea. I chose the half-pound BFG burger. The burger was a bit overdone but had a great taste nonetheless. The special sauce added a good layer of flavor to the meal. I will note the burger was a bit oily as my bottom bun was soggy by the middle of my meal. The fries were a bit too salty but were still enjoyable. It was a nice experience and I wouldn't mind coming again, although I think next time I'd try something else. read more

Both the shrimp and scallop's texture was spot on. The lemon caper butter added flavor to the broccoli but wasnt necessary for the shellfish if in case you decided to have your shellfish grilled just with lemon. Used to frequent Bonefish Grill and have never had a bad meal. Not a bad idea to come more often as they have been consistently served well seasoned and cooked seafood. The bread served with olive oil and herbs was tempting but I skipped it this time. Good place for dinner where you can still converse and hear the other person except for I guess if you talk and stay too long after dinner your water wont get refilled. Haha hint hint. read more

Met at this location because of its proximity to the airport (5 min away). Our waitress was amazing. Patient, attentive and extra helpful with non English speakers of our party. Thank you Evrardine! My least favorite dish was the calamari appetizer. It was too breaded. The Mussels Josephine were delicious. It's my favorite appetizer. I accompanied that with a red sangria. I could of had 5 glasses. The ahi tuna poke was yummy. Fresh, good size to share or have as a main entree if you are not too hungry. We also had the mahi-mahi with rice and broccoli. Stopped in a little after noon on Saturday after retrieving my truck from a offsite parking lot after dropping off the rental car - the place was mostly empty so we decided to have a seat at the bar. After being totally ignored for at least 10 minutes we decided to grab a table in the dining room since there was no wait. We were immediately greeted by our server Taylor and she immediately turned our experience around - she has a great personality and very professional. We placed our drink order as she dealt the menus, after a short look and after seeing Laura G's photo and description of the fish and chips my mind was made up - we both ended up ordering it for our entrée. Taylor dropped off the complimentary bread and oil and I added a bowl of the corn and crab chowder. The bread arrived hot from the oven with its crusty exterior and soft center it soaked up the herb laden oil, so delicious. My chowder arrived a few minutes laters, it too was hot and was neatly presented, all I needed was a few twist of freshly ground black pepper and I was in heaven - the portion was large with plenty of crab meat and bits of smoky bacon in a perfectly textured broth with tender corn throughout. This will definitely be my go to starter going forward. The fish and chips arrive hot as well, the portions was surprisingly large with sides of tartar sauce and Taylor followed the entrées with two stainless ramekins of malt vinegar, the perfect condiment for the fried cod and crispy fries (chips). This location was near our hotel and glad we stopped here. It was a busy night and we had no reservations but able to sit at the bar side in a booth. Started with fresh hot bread at the table and order Calamari for our appetizer.On to the entree's went straight for the Lobster Tails poured on the butter and that was it! melt in your mouth good, added side of asparagus and cream spinach extra charge for sides. Also , Fish and Chips which not overly battered light and crispy with fries dessert was macadamia nut brownie with a scoop of ice cream and whipped cream and a raspberry sauce oh so heavenly We did go back again before leaving orlando. Dined at this Bonefish yesterday as we were going to the movies nearby. It was pretty empty around 12:30 and the hostess was very sweet and seated us promptly in a booth in the bar. We got our server, who was so sweet, and he brought our waters, put our bang bang shrimp in, and that delicious bread! I should've asked for more!! Lol We got salmon and the Lilly's chicken for lunch, both delicious. The potatoes seemed as if they were just sitting there and had been made from a box. Stopped by because we figured it would be the easiest one to get too. Sat in the bar area and had the BEST server, Dee. We ordered drinks and an appetizer- delicious! We weren't pressured to put our dinner order in right away and we were able to enjoy our meal. Service was fantastic, same for the food and drinks. It's very hard to find "clean" food choices at most restaurants. We stopped in here for lunch while waiting for our flight. I had the Shaved Brussel Sprout salad with chicken. The only adjustments needed were hold the tomatoes and change the sauce to balsamic vinegar and olive oil. So very yummy! She likes to color their white paper table top, we always order her the fish from the kids menu and she loves it. we always order their salmon, Brussel sprouts, their calamari and lobsters; always on point! Grilled Salmon w/Mango Salsa- the salmon is grilled. Its a little bit on the dry side for me. Flavor is there. Now, the mango salsa is really good; sweet with just a touch of heat. The combination of sweet and salty (from the salmon) just makes this dish work. When I added the salsa to the salmon, it added the missing moisture. Side of Coleslaw- is a bit salty with a touch of vinegar... kind of strange, but it works. Side of Spinach- yummy... traditional sautéed spinach with garlic. Love it. I can taste the Spinach and not salt. Corn Chowder & Lump Crab - very chunky... with a really light touch of heat. There is not a "hint" of bacon... its "Hit of Bacon". The bacon lent salty smoky notes to the chowder. Yummy. What does not taste better with bacon. My wife ordered the "Bang Bang Shrimp" appetizer ($10.90), I had a piece. Lightly dusted and quick fried. There is a snap when you bite into it. The flesh is tender. They used a seasoned flour that gives it a great flavor. Shrimp tasted fresh. The food is good here. I took my self on a date an ordered salad, appetizer and entree. Server asked if I want salad before app, I said yes. App came out before salad. No biggie. I ordered app and salad, and waited and waited for my entree, seen family of 6 enter after me get served before me. I asked what's going g on and he said let me find out. The service was very friendly, all staff members were polite and responsive. Drinks were replaced before empty. The menu selections are well balanced meals. Steak & seafood, burgers, tacos and kids meals. The pricing was reasonable, even the surf and turf. Drink pricing may be a little high, but I did not partake. Had an amazing meal at Bonefish. Our server Elizabeth was so friendly and super knowledgeable about the menu. She made some really great suggestions on what to order. We also felt safe dining in, the tables were spaced apart and staff were wearing masks. We kept ours on unless we were eating. Started off the meal with the bread service. The pesto in the olive oil has such a great flavor. For apps we went with the famous Bang Bang Shrimp, which never disappoints! We also ordered calamari which was so good ... the sauce that came with it was so yummy. For dinner we split lobster tails which were perfectly cooked. The steak and shrimp are a great surf and turf option. We also got the Wild North Atlantic Haddock which was on special. It was topped with feta cheese, artichoke hearts and a lemon basil butter sauce! We left some room for dessert and went with the macadamia nut flourless brownie with ice cream and the cheesecake. Both had a raspberry drizzle that was made in-house and was absolutely stellar! Drinks were also so good. The pineapple martini tastes like a tropical beach vacation with lots of pineapple and coconut. The pomegranate martini was nice and tart. The Manhattan and smoked old fashioned are both super smooth. The coral reef punch also had a nice mix of tropical flavors. We usually have a good experience but not so much today. My granddaughter had calamari appetizer which was mostly crunchies. They replaced it with actual calamari. My Fried shrimp was good. French fries were lukewarm. 2 of our party had the greasy fish and chips. They weren't crispy. They peeled the batter off. My husband ordered an order of coleslaw that he didn't get but he was charged for it. I had to ask numerous times for a birthday cake and he said they normally don't do that but he eventually brought out lemon cake, No one ever cleared our table. We had to pile our dishes up for room. I have been to a number of other Bonefish Grill locations many times with good experiences. This was not one that I would rate as good. Mediocre may be a closer description. The issues that we had was the wait staff was inattentive at best. When the waiter came to take our orders, he had one hand full of dirty dishes and his POS system in the other hand. When I asked if he wanted to go put the dirty dishes down, he responded with "if I go do that, I have no idea how long it will take to get back." I asked my work friend if that is what he said, he said yes. When we got the food, the Brussel sprouts were dried out, neither of us ate them. The trout was dry and getting drink refills was another issue. One of the strangest things that I have ever seen was when he came to pick up the dirty plates off the table. He picked up a stack and just stuck his hand out. We didn't know what he wanted until he finally says, "well hand it to me." I know that the Orlando area is terrible for restaurant service, but a restaurant like Bonefish Grill should be held to a better standard by the corporation. We will not be back. read more

After trying Bonefish Grill for the first time at a Yelp event last week, I decided I definitely wanted to check it out for myself to get the full experience. My boyfriend and I decided to go tonight for an anniversary dinner. We were quickly seated and our server, Joseph C, quickly came and took our drink orders. He was efficient and kept our beverages full throughout the entire meal which was great. We started with the bang bang shrimp of course! I'm not usually a fan of fried seafood, but these have a batter that's not overly heavy and the sauce is just delicious. We happily devoured the order and as a plus, they are $7 on Wednesdays! For my entree, I chose imperial cod with sides of au gratin potatoes and bacon mac and cheese. My boyfriend ordered the thermidor gnocchi. Our food came out quickly and we dug in. I very much enjoyed the cod. I tasted some that didn't have the sauce/stuffing mixture on it before spreading it out because I like tasting the fish on its own. It was very good and the sauce just made it even better. The mac and cheese was also tasty. I wasn't really a fan of the au gratin potatoes. They were just kind of an odd texture to me and didn't have a big flavor. My boyfriend loved his gnocchi and I enjoyed the taste I nabbed from him as well. Overall, I found dining at Bonefish to be a good experience. I loved the quick service and the yummy food and would return especially since they rotate seasonal items so it would be fun to try new offerings as they become available! read more

Came in for Sunday Brunch and had superb service in the bar area. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, personable, and efficient. We let him know that we had a movie to catch afterwards and he made sure everything came out in a timely manner, so much so that we had about 30 minutes extra to hang around that we ended up ordering another round of mimosas after we paid our checks which he handled with no problem since we got the bottomless mimosa/bloody mary deal. On that note, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that we could switch back and forth between mimosas, bloodies, and bellinis on that bottomless deal and we were charged the cheaper price of the three. Score! For an app, four of us shared the obligatory bang bang shrimp and the complimentary bread basket. For my brunch entrée, my friend convinced me to get the saucy shrimp over grits in which I was disappointed in it at all. It was a pretty large portion and I was bummed I could not take leftovers since we were going straight to our movie and I couldn't let shrimp and grits sit in a hot car during the summer for 2.5 hours. So, I ate as much as I could and said farewell to anything left on my plate. The shrimp and grits were full of flavor with the sundried tomatoes, feta, olives and that delicious tomato-based sauce poured over everything. The grits were creamy and smooth, buttery and cheesy. Two of my friends got the crème brulee French toast entrée and my other friend got the seafood Johnny cakes entrée. I had a bite of the French toast which delicious and not too sweet believe it or not. I did not get a chance to try the Johnny cakes as my friend devoured hers. Can't say enough good things! My mom, sister and I came here for my sister's bday lunch and it was nothing short of amazing. Sister ordered fish and chips which were delicious, mom got scallops and shrimp that she said were the best scallops she's had in her life. I got the fillet mignon with mash potatoes that were to die for. Our server Amy was extremely nice as well! Very timely and not pushy. I've been eating at Bonefish Grill since one opened near me when I lived in Maryland several years ago. I've always had good experiences this one included! My niece and I went for happy hour. Bonefish has a great happy hour! We ordered $5 martinis, the Tropical Tiki martini. We enjoyed our fruity, refreshing sweet drinks! Then we ordered from the $6 bar bites happy hour menu. We ordered the Cod and Wagyu sliders and calamari. The cod was fried nicely and you could tell the fish was fresh. Our server suggested we add a little goat cheese to our beef sliders. This was a great recommendation as it added nicely to the flavor of the burger. The calamari was delicious and I loved the dipping sauce! They also fried a few red peppers with the calamari which gave it a great flavor! Our server was cute and friendly. I really appreciated his goat cheese recommendation! Wow!!! We just had the most amazing experience at this location. We're visiting Orlando from North Carolina. We enjoy the Bonefish Grill in Greensboro and have visited some others. This is easily the best experience I've ever had at a Bonefish Grill. We arrived about 5:30 and were seated promptly. Our waiter was there almost immediately. We ordered our drinks and he asked about appetizers. We declined the appetizers. The food was great. Every one of us finished all of our entrees. Three of us had fish (Salmon, Tuna and something else). My wife had the chicken. Three of us had the broccoli (and it was amazing). All of us who had the fish had the mango salsa. It was very very good. Our waiter suggested the Key Lime Cake. Both couples ordered it and we really liked it. Our waiter was outstanding. I watched the wait staff at the other tables. The host lied directly to our faces and seated others that came after us right when they came in, these other people also had 6 people similar to us. The host also said that there was a table that was ready to leave (There was not). This service is unacceptable and it is not okay to lie to your guests.
