This restaurant has a nice bar, open seating and a back room for bigger parties. There was a mix of tables and booths. There were two gender neutral bathrooms as well and very clean. I was looking through the menu and chose a burger. I didn't see a no-carb selection, but asked the waitress and she offered to do a protein-style. As a nutritionist, I am always looking for healthy options at local eateries. My guest got the veggie scramble eggs. We were famished after working and this hit the spot. read more

Maggie's has been popping up on my Yelp feed a lot lately, and this morning I finally got to try it! This cafe is a lot bigger on the inside than I thought. There's a lot of comfy booths, tables, and barstools. The service was excellent! Very friendly and attentive. My dad and I shared a huge pancake alongside scrambled eggs, hash potatoes, and two strips of bacon. We wanted to pick something more interesting from the menu, but we were in a bit of a rush. Our classic breakfast was great though. I also ordered a blackberry lemonade to go with it. It tasted as good as it looks. Went there to check it out Had Joanna as a server; she was wonderful! Went for an early lunch. The best part is that the entire menu is available all day! So I had an omelette with egg whites tomatoes mushrooms & added sausage. Joanna brought out the food & saw that the hadn't put the sausage in so she brought out a side of sausage & apologized for the mis hap. Everything was excellent! And I loved how clean it was. Wife and I had breakfast at Maggie's the other day and it was a very good experience. I went for the huevos rancheros with Chile Verde and my wife had the raspberry cream cheese pancakes. The Chile Verde was delicious, very flavorful and the eggs were well cooked, not overdone. My wife loved the pancakes, the cream cheese was a touch thick but she still enjoyed it. Hashbrowns were nicely cooked, toast was tasty and the staff was very friendly. Not much more you could ask for when looking for a good dining experience. Reasonably priced compared to similar businesses and it's very nice inside. Definitely recommend giving it a try if you haven't already. read more

I kind of waffled on giving them 2 or 3 stars, but I settled on three because everyone was really polite and nice. My kids and I will usually go to Stacks because it's right by our house, but we decided to try a new place. I first want to say that everyone was super kind. The place is really cute and it's very pleasant when you walk in, that hits you first thing. Food was pretty good! My huevos rancheros were nontraditional but I wasn't mad about it. My son loved his burrito. I did think almost $20 for a plate of huevos was pretty high though. The worst part was the service. It was bad bad. After being seated, it took 10 minutes for anyone to even come by. Then once she took our drink order, that took forever too. I did happen to notice my server had plenty of time to text though. Food did come out quickly, but no one came by after that...with one exception. Someone came by to ask if we want more coffee which was great because I did, then she just never came back. Then my regular server brought boxes and the check, so the whole experience felt a little rushed. I saw that same server who offered the coffee counting cash later. I've been in the food industry for years now, and I know it's brutal to survive in. Service can make or break someone's experience and today was some of the worst service I'd had in a while. They weren't understaffed either. They had 4 servers handling maybe 15 covers, plus the owner helping. I have only had their food at a festival, but it was at village fest. And the group I was with agreed hands down it was one of the best food samples we had that night. They served pot roast with mashed potatoes and they were delicious!! The location they're in now is somewhat cursed since cafe med left, but after that little sample I'm definitely willing to give them my business and check them out. And you should too!! read more

Saw this restaurant on Yelp, decided to come here one morning. Truly loved their dedication and support of our armed forces, offering a free cup of coffee and having photos who have served on their wall. Waitress was friendly and offered great customer service. Restroom was kept well maintained. Chilaquiles and their beans were amazing! Their potatoes and biscuits and gravy, not so much. Biscuits were really hard and stiff, and their potatoes needed a little more flavor. Overall, it was good; I'll have to go back and try other food items. read more

We tried Maggie's for the first time this morning and loved it! The staff were very attentive and were taking care of all of the tables. I'm not sure, but I think the chef came out a couple of times to ask every table if everything was good. When the table near us said, 'Yes, but we're missing our toast,' she immediately went to get them two sets of toast and then resumed checking on the rest of the tables. I really liked that! It was obvious that their entire team wanted to make sure people were enjoying themselves. The food was really good, too! They brought fresh, complimentary conchitas to our table once they were done baking. It was perfect with our coffee. I have to limit my carbs, and I was willing to use every available carb in my allowance for one. On that note, they had no issue substituting my potatoes for cottage cheese, which was great with my Chorizo and Jalapeño Omelet. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his food too, and his hash browns looked nice and crispy without being overcooked or too thick. The atmosphere is cozy and vibrant at the same time. P.S. It was my first time here, but my daughter's second. She's been raving about the Strawberry Dubai French toast so I decided to bring the kids before our last minute back to school errands. First time here, It's small inside and looks nice. Waitress was friendly. We sat at a table with a booth bench that was kinda sunk. If I sat in the middle I could literally feel the wood beam under the cushion. I ordered an egg cheese breakfast burrito with egg whites with light cheese, potatoes and beans. When the brought it out it wasn't egg whites, so our waitress apologized and took it back, when she came back with the new one it had the egg whites but was now drowned in runny beans. So much that I couldn't even find the potatoes and I didn't see any cheese either. I only ate half. I was really excited to try this place for first time. It's a good size dining room with counter to sit singles. Hostess is pleasant and welcoming. Went for breakfast around 11, but started getting busy around noon (on Sunday). Nice ambiance, country music playing throughout the restaurant. Waitress was a little hard to understand, she had an accent and the music was drowning her out. I love creme brulee and they offered that style of pancakes which I never tried before. I asked specific questions to how the pancakes were made with creme brulee, I was very descriptive to ask about the brulee part because that's my fav part, waitress assured me it was prepared as I described. The pancakes came not as described! It was just a thick layer of a creamy substance that just made the pancakes mushy (yuck) and IF they brulee it, it did not taste brulee at all. There was no hard sugar coating anywhere on or around the pancakes. Super disappointing. I still tried to eat it giving best effort, especially the dishes are on the higher side. The other plate ordered was sunrise enchiladas, scale 1-10 was a 3. Another odd thing that we experienced was the busser (man not boy) had strange humor. We asked for a box for the leftovers and he first said they didn't have any but then brought and actual shipping box. Which was ridiculous to think that would be suitable, and then pulled out of the large box the smaller Togo box. I'm usually enjoy humor, but this was a first and just off setting. The owner, Maggie, is super nice and a STRONG supporter of our men and women in the armed forces. She even has a wall of 5x7 portraits of service men and women. You bring in the print and she will frame it and mount it on her wall. Vets get free coffee every Wednesday. As you can see by the picture of the breakfast I chose, there is PLENTY on your plate. Fresh ingredients cooked the way YOU like it. They are really service oriented and want your experience with them to be the best you've had. These are the types of businesses we want to do well. Recently felt up to trying a new spot for breakfast and saw Maggie's is a newer well reviewed restaurant. We went semi late (I usually like to go early early) around 9-9:30 and it was very empty and honestly after eating there I am shocked. The food and the service were phenomenal. Though it's a tad smaller than most breakfast spots it had a very nice decor and I really liked the layout and seating. We were greeted by very friendly and attentive staff and the food were delicious. The mini conchas come as a starter and they were so good and fresh I almost wanted to order more just to go it went amazing with the really good coffee. The pancakes were amazing even covered in all the extras were stars of the plate. I got the combo and the potatoes and Eggs were so good. It's safe to say this place is amazing and I hope to come back and support. After just one visit, I can honestly say I wouldn't be surprised if there's a line out the door next time the food was so good! read more

Amazing breakfast foods with friendly service. I had my typical breakfast; hash browns, sausage patties and eggs based. The hashbrowns were cooked within the half hour (not precooked and sitting on the grill) the sausage was cooked to order and not deep fried, my eggs were perfectly cooked. I went to lunch here today with a friend who had breakfast there a few weeks ago. The restaurant is bright and updated. We were seated right away. The menu is quite extensive, they have a separate menu for seniors and children. I ordered the senior pot roast and my friend ordered the patty melt. The pot roast was delicious especially the gravy, it included mashed potatoes, carrots, and mushrooms. My friend's patty melt was HUGE and cooked perfectly.
