My leftovers to go -- will take a better photo next time! Food is impeccable.

I cannot believe I have never been to this spot before. Met a friend for brunch and I cannot find a fault. We waited about 5 minutes at 10:00 a.m. Seated at a booth in the back corner. Perfection. They do not serve alcohol. No TVs. This is where you go when you want an impeccable meal, exceptional service, and quality time with people you enjoy breaking bread with. The staff was attentive, food arrived just as ordered, drinks stayed full. Their daily specials were hard to choose from! This is not a 5 out of 5. Renae's is a 10/10.

Tucked away off the Main Street is this great little breakfast place in an industrial park. It was easy to park and we didn't have a long wait to be seated. The place was very busy, it seemed like this was frequented by many regulars as they were greeted by name by the servers and the hosts. The breakfast was very good, solid portions, my husband got the chicken fried steak and eggs and I got the Monte cristo. Both were cooked very well and we had some leftovers to take home.

Nothing like discovering a hidden gem. I was shocked when my friend said they had the best burgers. I'd never heard of them before. Renae's Cafe is tucked away, next to a laundromat! Once you step inside, you're immediately greeted by a friendly waitress. Their building feels nice and cozy, like you're going to dine in someone's home. It really is a local favorite, because the dining area was packed. They post their specials on white boards and they always are switching it up. I ordered a burger my first time and it did not disappoint. They place the lettuce, tomato, and onions on the side, so you dress the burger yourself. I like mine with everything on it, so once assembled--it was massive! And the crinkle cut fries were amazing! On this second visit I ordered their French Dip sandwich. I've had French Dips from other places in town and I can say that this one takes the top spot. It was huge! Side of onion rings made it that much better. In conclusion: friendly staff, warm atmosphere, large portions--check out Renae's!

The best hash browns in town. Also the largest fluffy biscuits you will find with a thick cut sausage gravy that they never skimp out on. I love the curbside pickup option that makes it super simple and easy and the service is always top notch and quick to order regardless of how busy they are.

Second Time Here & Ready to Go Back! This is really I think the BEST Breakfast place in town. I was partial to Old River Grill which is still good. But this place takes the cake. GREAT food! GREAT Service! The waitress staff anticipates your every need. They give you soda/tea to go when you are leaving. The Chipotle Ranch is a must if you are having fries. I would honestly eat it on anything! If you are craving clam chowder they also have the one and only Splash Cafe Chowder and they give you a little crab topping! This Monte Cristo was really good. I ate it with syrup and it was delicious. Such an odd combination but delicious! The fries were HOT and perfectly cooked. 10/10 in all areas! Will definitely be back.

Signing more as he enjoys the pancakes

First time here. If the baby is the one to make a comment, he is signing more because he's really enjoying the pancakes here. I ordered their special, which was the eggs and cheese with gravy on it. It came with three different kinds of meat, but I told the waitress I don't eat pork so I don't want any of the meat. Can they do it without the meat. She said yes. And then she said just cheese and the gravy? And I said yes. Little while later, she comes out and says I'm sorry, but the gravy has sausage in it and what would you like to do? She saw me look like I was gonna leave and she said The chef already made all your food, including the pancake for For the baby. So I sighed and said OK we'll just go ahead and eat here. The food isn't super spectacular but it's adequate and that's good. And when I was first ordering, I had asked how many slices of the avocado there was for the side of avocado because it was $3.50 extra. She said 1/4 of an avocado and I said wow $14 avocados... so I passed on the avocado. But then when she brought me my food, she brought me what look like half an avocado of slices on there on the house. I thought that was really, really sweet. The atmosphere is just a regular café. The staff didn't even make a frowny face at my 2 1/2 year-old throwing spoons and forks and napkins on the floor.

    Chicken Fried Steak Omelette

Husband took me for breakfast at Renae's because it was a popular spot for oil field workers. The restaurant is tucked away in a shopping center in Rosedale. Husband and I decided to split the Chicken Fried Steak Omelette breakfast (came with toast or biscuits and gravy) and my youngest son got the kids pancake, eggs, and sausage breakfast. I loved the unique twist to a traditional omelette with the chicken fried steak. The chicken fried steak was perfectly seasoned and crispy! The omelette was fluffy and cooked to perfection. I just cut up and mixed the hashbrown and placed the mixture on toast and pure perfection! The kids breakfast was plentiful and my son enjoyed his breakfast. Thank you for the wonderful breakfast and can't wait to visit again!

I will definitely go back! The service was great and so was the food. Very large proportions.

The breakfast I had that you should try 5 stars

We really got good service with our food and servers both. The food was as good as they said it would be, and I love adding new restaurants to my travels. I honestly wouldn't have found this gem without the word of mouth of friends that visit regularly, so I'm grateful for their advice. I posted a picture of my salad, it's delicious and totally worth the price, I took some home it was so filling. Next time I'm in town I'm coming back for an omelette, hubs said his spinach shrimp was the best he's ever had. Highly recommend.

The French toast was awesome here. It was crispy, savory, and sweet! Getting the order of 4 slices, without the combo was plenty of food in itself. I still had leftovers! The French toast didn't even need the syrup tbh, which tells you how tasty it was. Service wise it needs a little work this time, our server just didn't have a great attitude. Maybe she was having a bad day and was fed up, but either way she was a little rude and times and it was not fun. There are no tvs in here which I like a lot! It forces you to pay attention to each other! I like how open it is, the location is a bit random but it makes it a quaint family owned business! The business owner wasn't there this time but last time she was super nice! I suggest checking this place out, lots of yummy food.

Ok what a little gem. Great vibe off the beaten path. The service is great so is the attitude of the staff. It was busy so that's a great sign of doing something right. I ordered the pastrami special. So very good I loved it. One of my favorite pastrami sandwiches I've had. You need to try this place

If you love breakfast foods, you definitely can't go wrong by going here. I always struggle with what to choose because everything is so good! The chilaquiles with any choice of meat is incredibly flavorful and one of my favorites on the menu. I also appreciate their extensive drinks menu as you can choose anything from a michelada to a latte. At this specific downtown location, the service is always great. The servers are friendly, attentive, and always make sure you're satisfied with your food/drinks.

We finally decided to try Huevo House, and with a name like that I was expecting both cuisines, but I wasn't expecting the Mexican flavors to be this good! The menu was a decent size--one side for breakfast and the back for lunch. I didn't look at the lunch side, but the breakfast options were great: plenty to choose from without feeling overwhelming. They serve pozole on Fridays and Saturdays and menudo on Sundays. The pozole was full of flavor and honestly one of the highlights of our visit. Thank goodness we finally found a place that satisfies us both! I ordered the Country Benedict and he ordered the Brunchiladas--both dishes were delicious and came in generous portions. We also tried the Abuelita Latte and the Mazapán Latte. Both were very good, just on the sweeter side, so if you're not into sweet coffee definitely ask for half sweet. Our server was attentive and informative. She took great care of us and even made conversation, which added to the overall experience. Overall, such a good visit. We'll definitely be back!

The vibes in the new space are absolutely immaculate. There is so much more energy here, and the decorations are incredibly cute. It's the perfect backdrop for a killer meal. The Main Event: This time around, I went with the En Fuego Burger. This beast is loaded with a chile-spiced beef patty, pepperjack, sharp cheddar, thick-cut bacon, chipotle mayo, pepper relish, pickled jalapeños, and a mountain of fried jalapeños + onion strings. The Flavor Profile: This burger delivers on every level, but those fried onion strings were to die for. For the side, I got the sweet potato fries, which are served as big, thick-cut wedges. They come paired with a duo of spicy ketchup and a marshmallow dipping sauce. Switching between the two was amazing, the marshmallow sauce actually makes the fries feel like a dessert. The Drink: To wash it all down, I ordered the basil lemonade, and omg, I need to figure out how to recreate this at home. It's exactly what it sounds like, crisp, refreshing lemonade with a perfect herbal basil finish. The Verdict: If you loved their old spot, the new location takes everything to the next level. Between the upgraded atmosphere, the dessert-like fries, and that refreshing lemonade, I will absolutely be coming back here again and again.

I immediately noticed that my favorite dish, the shakshuka eggs, was no longer on the menu. Thinking it might just be a seasonal change, I decided to try something different. I ordered the carrot ginger soup, beet and goat cheese salad, and my usual favorite cocktail, the Pear Necessities. The cocktail was the first disappointment. It tasted completely different from what I've come to enjoy, none of the smoky mezcal flavor and none of the sweetness from the pear liquor that made it a favorite. I figured it might just be a new bartender and tried to brush it off. The carrot ginger soup was just okay. I found myself searching for both the carrot and ginger flavors, neither of which really stood out. The beet and goat cheese salad was fine, but it's hard to get too excited about a salad. Overall, the food felt subpar compared to what I've come to expect from Moo Creamery. The restaurant itself was also surprisingly loud, making conversation difficult and adding to the overall frustration. It was hard to get our waitress's attention throughout the meal, and service felt disjointed. The most disappointing moment came when we noticed my son's chicken strips and fries sitting on the counter for 13 minutes before they were finally brought to our table. By then, it was difficult not to question whether the food was still as fresh and hot as it should have been. We came in excited to experience the new location, but between the noisy atmosphere, inattentive service, and food that didn't live up to Moo Creamery's usual standards, we left feeling disappointed. Sadly, I probably won't be returning. It's hard to justify giving it another try when there are so many other restaurants in town that consistently deliver quality food, service, and a better overall dining experience.

Their hype was definitely due to the 'aesthetic'. Nothing is really outstanding to me. The drinks are such a let down, the coffee is borderline yuck.. do not recommend. Everything is quite unmemorable. Service is whatever, sometimes mid, sometimes bad. Nothing outstanding. Ambiance.... well... this one has been replicated one too many times. The food is heavily missing flavor, the hummus is disgusting. I can't believe they call that thing hummus, it's an insult to actual dish.. it's almost like it was trying to imitate the real dish, but failed terribly in even attempting to. Their pizza tasted like play-doh and looked very pale. Smitten is at least consistent with one thing, which is their staple: no flavor. One of the breaking points for me was being served food that had someone's HAIR. The restaurant is very expensive for the poor experience they have to offer. I stopped recommending them a long time ago.
