I think people are way too kind to this place. And I can see why they want to be. Simple bop box food is trendy and hipster-friendly. But this particular food is not made with love. It's crude. It's over spiced. It's over cooked. It's over heated. And it's overpriced. I wonder if it's not made by an angry chef. I'm sorry but it just doesn't hit the mark. It also doesn't look good in the bowl. I was very disappointed.

What yummy food! We went to BopBox because we had an event nearby in Georgetown, but also because of its stellar Yelp reviews. We were not disappointed! The place is tiny! There were 5 of us, and we were lucky enough to get one of the two large tables in the establishment. There's some additional seating along the window, but that's about it. The person at the counter indicated that the place isn't really a sit-down place; most people order to-go. And he was right about the latter; there was a steady stream of Uber Eats and Grub Hub drivers coming through the place while we were there. My girlfriend ordered the stir-fried Yakisoba Soy Braised Tofu (vegetarian for her!), and I ordered the Eemo's Kimchi Fried Rice with Spicy Tofu, with a request to be made extra spicy. I love spicy food, and the Fried Rice, with yummy kimchi in it, did not let me down! My girlfriend loved her dish. Two others of us ordered exactly the same dishes (although less spicy). I noticed that they had the Yona Yona Ale from Yoho Brewing in Japan. It used to be that you couldn't find this beer in the US. It was tasty complement to our dishes that three of us ordered. We wanted Kimchi for the table, but they were out that day. I was seriously bummed. Note: you'll use their in-store kiosk to place your order if you're eating in. Be sure to select your utensils when placing your order or you won't be able to pay. That was not obvious to any of us.

Went for lunch on a weekend afternoon. Food was great and they have a decent amount of variety with proteins and sauce options. The tempura kale was something my I'd never tried before but was very fun. The potions are huge! I'd recommend sharing unless you're famished. Super fast service and the employee was very nice. Cute vibes in a cute area. I don't think I'll trek down to south seattle just for this spot, but if you're in the area it's worth a try.

Quick, friendly service. Very chill atmosphere and yummy eggs! There's wonderful window seating for street watching :)

    Delicious - banchan sampler

Loved the banchan sampler ... I think that's what I ordered.... Couldn't decide what to get - everything looked so good, and then I found this banchan sampler thing and I got it ALL. So good. My bf got some rice with pork. He said there was only a couple pieces of meat. For the price, it seemed a bit like a rip off for him, so minus a star. But I loved mine!

ugh we forgot to take pictures of our food! the jammy eggs were perfection and the side order of purple rice was MASSIVE. the soy glazed wings and japchae were great as well. price point is a bit high but well worth it since there's not many good korean restaurants in the neighborhood.

I found this place on Yelp. I checked out the pictures, and the food looked absolutely amazing. I stopped by for a late lunch. I ordered on a tablet at the front. There is also staff towards the back that take food orders. It took me a few minutes to decide because everything looked and sounded really good. There are a few tables to dine inside and a few tables to dine outside. It seems more like a place to grab and go. The food was ready in fifteen minutes. I decided to try the Mom's Medley with chicken and a Bulgogi Ribeye Bowl. Both items were delicious. I really liked the variety and how colorful the medley bowl was. The chicken was also cooked and seasoned well. The bulgogi was tender and flavorful. If you are in the area, this is definitely a good place to check out.

spicy pork (with few veggie options taken out). the kale tempura was amazing!

This was one of the closest Korean food we could find near West Seattle with good amount of veggies. The staff in front were great and kind. We couldn't stop raving about how good it was all day, and recommended it to our friends who are locals to try it out! The tempura kale really changed the bibimbap experience.

Had been wanting to try this place for a while and wish I hadn't waited so long! I had the banchan bento with salmon and it was the best variety of flavors and then salmon was cooked perfectly!

Swung by for a quick lunch and we got some very nourishing, colorful and veggie-heavy dishes to try. It's Korean fusion with a lot of emphasis on freshness and variety, and everything was tasty. Especially enjoyed their spicy pork belly and crispy kale chips. Staff were very friendly and it's a cute, quiet little nook in Georgetown. Would stop by again if I was in the neighborhood :)

It is set up like a cute korean style bar with small round tables which make sharing easier. They have a pretty good selection on their menu and we ordered a couple of items to share. The Rose Ttoekbokki with cheese was very yummy, but it kinda tasted like pasta with rice cakes instead of spaghetti. I think that is the point of this dish, so if you want a more traditional spicy flavor then get the other ttoekbokki option (spicy rice cakes). We still loved this one and the rice cakes were so chewy and delicious. The cheese corn was very yummy and exactly what you would expect. It pairs perfectly with the other dishes. My friends also shared the Seafood ramen and Beef bulgogi. They liked both dishes. One of our favorite things were the side dishes actually! The tofu was so yummy, and the bean sprouts were so crunchy and well seasoned. We even asked for extra! The only aspect that makes it difficult to come more often is the price point. Since the dishes are so big and shareable, it is easy to split amongst a group, but it is a little less affordable to come here for dinner and drinks.

We ordered: -Fish cake soup: pretty good, the soup had a good depth in flavor and I liked the variety in fish cake. Perfect for a rainy day. -Tteokbokki: was a bit spicy and the rice cake was chewy and cooked well. I've had better sauce though. -kimchi pancake: wasn't our favorite. Was a bit too thick and had too much batter - I like these to be more crispy and thin. Overall, a fun place for a casual Korean bar food.

Have been in a few times and have had a solid experience each time. Fairly small place and not THAT many tables. You order at the counter and then sit down. I was the one saying "hello" first and saying "how are you?" before the cashier said anything. Kind of awkward/standoffish but not a dealbreaker when the food is good. Most recently I had the kimchi jigae, which was relatively spicy, even when I asked for less spicy (and they said they could accommodate). I'd say it was like 2-3 stars. Flavor was great though and it was a decent portion (for $17) and satisfying. Also, a pretty wide range of menu options, despite it being a small place. There were 4 complimentary banchan dishes (napa kimchi, cucumber kimchi, seasoned bean sprouts, and fish cakes). Note that I don't think there are free refills like other places... maybe you can ask but I didn't see anyone doing so. For 1-2 people, it's a relatively generous amount. Also, only certain dishes come with the banchan, so be sure to read the menu carefully if you are wanting the banchan.

Which is a nice surprise since some restaurants aren't as generous in the banchan. The galbitang was so flavorful for a "clear" soup and the meat was tender. It also included a good portion of meat. I've tried galbitang at other places, but there was an umami that many didn't have. All the banchan were flavorful too, I thought the kimchi had a good balance as sometimes it can be a bit on the saltier side. Service was great too, the sever was friendly and checked often. When I went, it was just me then a couple arrived. There was a delay with their order so she provided some mandu on the house while their order was being prepared.
