The Cajun sauce is packed with flavor, the fried calamari is crispy and even better dipped in the tartar sauce, and the noodles are seriously underrated, they're so good! The food has consistently kept me coming back, but I do think the customer service could be a little more welcoming at times. A little friendliness goes a long way, and it would also be nice if personal conversations between staff were kept away from the dining area since customers can hear everything. That said, I stopped by tonight about 30 minutes before closing (I felt guilty, sorry y'all ), and Emilio took care of us. I'd never seen him there before, but he was friendly, welcoming, and checked on us throughout our meal even though he was already busy with the closing routine. We weren't trying to be high maintenance--we were just hungry and excited to eat--but he still made us feel taken care of without overdoing it. Great service like that stands out, especially when it's close to closing time. Hopefully some of his coworkers can learn a thing or two from his approach because it really makes a difference in the overall experience. I didn't eat them. Overall, I was really disappointed with the meal. My family is actually from Louisiana so I'm always skeptical but the seasoning was on point and the crawfish was not overcooked!!!!! No personally and in Louisiana the fish in po'boys are catfish not cod but I think that choice is based more on the location this restaurant is in. BTW there's a 90 minute limit after we were seated and the second round of our seafood took 30 minutes to come out (they apparently forgot our order) and they proceeded to tell us we had last call right after our second round of food barely got to the table. Not sure if that's done on purpose but we really didn't really appreciate that. Overall though, the staff definitely made the experience better. THE FOOD 5/10 Here's where things started to fall apart. The first all-you-can-eat platter came with two snow crab clusters, 1/2lb crawfish, 1/2lb mussels, 1/2lb peeled shrimp, plus unlimited sides. Even the House/Cajun seasoning didn't do much to save it. It was too oily and honestly just tasted like salt, there was no spiciness either and we got the hot flavor. Ironically, the sides ended up carrying the meal.
