I was at The Hangar with my relatives and my uncle mentioned his love for Bottlecraft. Naturally, I was interested in trying some beer! When I arrived, there were a lot of options to choose from. I'm somebody that's usually most intrigued by stouts or sours when I haven't been to a brewery before. This time, I decided to opt for an oatmeal stout - Fremont Dark Star. My cup was poured right away and I took it outside to enjoy. It was delicious! The beer had a nuttiness and smoothness that was very enjoyable. Definitely wasn't difficult to finish my cup. I enjoyed it alongside some food from one of the other restaurants in the Hangar. Unfortunately, I needed to drive after so I refrained from any more cups of beer. However, I really enjoyed what I did try and I will definitely be back!

A year later, still love this place. At the back of the hangar, they have a great rotation of local brews to try. Staff is always nice, always willing to give recommendations, and do a great job making sure your next brew is getting poured while you're finishing the last wine. Ambiance is a little loud, social, and welcoming. Definitely a place I recommend to bring friends.

Good choices for drinks. Can be a little crowded. But reasonable pricing. And TVs to watch some sports as well.

Whenever I'm in the area grabbing a bite at the surrounding spots, I always make sure to stop off at Bottlecraft Long Beach. It's become one of those reliable go to places I genuinely look forward to. The service is always great and friendly, and I really appreciate how chill and welcoming the staff is. On top of that the pours are generous you definitely feel like you're getting your money's worth here which is not something you can say about every bar these days. What I love most is trying all the new beers, ciders, and seltzers they bring in. They always have fun creative options on deck so it never feels stale or repetitive. My personal go tos when they have them are the "cactus cooler" and the cherry coke seltzer both are unique, flavorful, and super easy to sip on. Overall, Bottlecraft is a solid 4 star spot for me great vibes, friendly service, heavy pours, and a rotating selection that keeps things interesting. It's the perfect place to pop into before or after food nearby, and I'll definitely keep coming back to see what they're pouring next.

Cool spot for a pint of local craft beer. The service was friendly and prompt. I ordered the Pizza Port (Carlsbad) Shark Bite American Red Ale. It had a beautiful dark caramel color and plenty of hops.

DRINK GOOD BEER HERE Solid Taproom in a food hall! All around great place, great selection of beer with tons of local variety and something for everyone. What was most impressive was the beertender ( most likely the owner); he had an excellent knowledge of his beers, he was tending to three customers at a time and with an attitude that showed he was interested to find the best beer choice for everyone, you just don't see his attention to details too often. Lastly, the fact they had a ballgame on with the volume it just creates a great environment to keep drinking. If I'm in the area I'll definitely be back. Cheers

A buddy and I went here for beers and were pleasantly surprised at the experience. This is inside the food court area at LBX so there are plenty of options to eat without giving up your seat at the bar. The bartender was knowledgeable about the beer on tap and even had some unique canned beers to try! Overall great vibe!

I've been a huge fan of this place since it opened. I consider myself an OG here. Just ask my cousin Steven. Malcolm and Tony have been the best bartenders around. Tony has since moved on but loving Mitch today who sold me on a sandwich. This sandwich is why I am writing my review today. I'm blown away by the Turkey Italian sandwich. It's so fresh, clean and delicious tasting. Treated myself to something else new to me too which is the Grapefruit Paloma Kombucha. Just what I needed. Thanks you. I love hanging here with my husband and friends. Wonderful atmosphere and great people working here and hanging out at the bar. Thanks, Jed

Great tasting beer, knowledgeable servers, great clean atmosphere. This place has the friendliest, welcoming and great customer service that I'd ever seen at a Beer Craft Bar. Malcom is the best. He was our connoisseur and server all night. Ryan is totally awesome. He and Malcom are the perfect team. Jackson was the best bar back. Beyond friendly and such a hard worker. This was our first time here and they made this a pleasurable experience Pricing was great. Seating was available. Parking is ample but fills quickly

A great place to stop by at LBX! Bottlecraft serves delicious locally made craft beer and seltzers! Their menu changes all the time so don't expect there to be the same drinks with the menus posted. The drinks i got was reccomended by Kevin. Before I get to the drinks, I must say Kevin is a great worker, broke down every single drink for me, asked what I liked, and gave me amazing options. As for the drinks he reccomended, one is a lavander lemonade seltzer and another is something I totally forgot the name of. I believe it was a seltzer that was supposed to be to taste like cactus cooler. Nonetheless, I do remember each drink to be very refreshing and delicious. The bar area is pretty small giving that the brewery is a small kiosk, similar to the size of your average Starbucks that's inside a grocery store. However, it is LBX so there indoor and outdoor seating everywhere. So the perfect LBX experience is to get your food, get your drinks at Bottlecraft, and take is outside and enjoy the beautiful sun.

Popular area for a variety of food and Bottlecraft had the drinks to make for a chill time. Got a beer that was recommended by the staff and it tasted pretty similar to Cactus Cooler soda. A few tall tables with seats were available to hangout at to watch the game on the TV. Other seating (indoor and outdoor) is scattered throughout the big dining area for the Hangar Food Hall. Even though it was a busy day they got through the line quickly. Cheers to you guys!

Not a huge beer fan or anything like that, but man do I want to come back after trying this. Prices are reasonable as well and what's better than having a drink walking around the hangar? I got the Passion Fruit Mead (16 oz) and it's just as described: Honest Abe Cidery. More cidery than beer for sure because I actually liked it! Don't hesitate to come and try out something new or ask the front for suggestions! My friend and I were able to try a few before settling down on the Passion Fruit Mead. Definitely coming back here as a hangout spot.

Are they still serving beer in plastic cups instead of glassware? When can we expect glassware,…

From what I saw you could get actual glassware if you were drinking AT the bar, but plastic was sort of default with the outdoor patios etc

Do you offer any gluten-free beer?

Depends on the rotation of beers. I'd say usually there isn't but it just depends .

We stopped by late Saturday night and were able to snag an immediate walk-in at the bar at Hao Peng You, which is the intimate speakeasy portion of Midnight Oil. The decor definitely reminded me of my grandparents' house in Taiwan, with vintage, ornate wooden chairs, dragon/lion statue carvings, and even a historic century old marital bed that had been repurposed into a booth. The drinks were also VERY unique, with my favorite being Hua sheng (literally meaning peanut), which was crafted from a nostalgic childhood peanut milk drink. All our cocktails were crafted very well, to the point where I thought they were a bit on the lighter side since I couldn't really taste the alcohol. This section does get really busy though and only had one bartender who is making/serving drinks and taking orders, so do expect a bit of a wait. Overall, highly recommend checking out this vibey vintage Taiwanese-inspired speakeasy (that my inner history nerd was so excited about), and I'll definitely be back to try their food items as well as their two other bar/restaurant concepts!
