I tried this place out today while shopping at Lloyd and my drink was delicious! I had a passion fruit green tea that was made quickly by the worker who was very pleasant. I will definitely be returning and I would recommend this shop to friends. Five stars!

My taro smoothie with tapioca boba was reasonably priced and delicious! I would definitely return. It's in kind of a funny location because it appears as though Lloyd Center is sadly going out of business.

I rarely go to Lloyd Center but I went in today and came across this place in the mall and was pleasantly surprised. The worker was very nice and knowledgeable and suggested I try mixing flavors to get exactly what I wanted. She suggested a mango coconut smoothie tea which was delicious! Little hidden gem in the middle of a dying mall. Will stop by again next time I'm in the area!

My favorite go-to boba place! The staff is always exceptionally friendly, and their bona tastes great. I've had almost everything on the menu, and it's always well made. The tapioca pearls are chewy, perfect, and made fresh regularly. The mall makes for a busy atmosphere, but a fun one! Sometimes there are events going on nearby, and it's nice to watch with a little treat drink in hand.

If my local friend hadn't mentioned that Braganza Tea was a solid staple in the PNW, I would've written this off considering it being hosted inside the sad, sad Lloyd Center. But where there's sadness there's light, and it comes in the form of a pretty solid boba drink. They offer a variety of milk alternatives including soy milk, which is great for me as someone that's dairy-free. I ordered the standard Black Milk Tea with Boba and half sugar/ice, and it was exactly what I expected. Service here was friendly, efficient, and an overall easy experience. They're located on the second floor of the mall near one of the main entrances to the parking lot, so it should be an easy find.

I'm happened to be in this mall, and the only bubble tea around. The cashier recommended us a few of her favorites, and it actually tasted good. The price is reasonable too. If you are thirsty while shopping, try this.

Come across this place by chance and it was good! Got myself a black tea with sea salt and happy with my drink! If you're looking for a fruity tea. This is it!

I'm big fan of boba tea. I was really happy to discover this place at mall close to place where I live. But this place is not perfect. First minus that they don't have almond milk which is my favorite. Second minus my service was bad. I was only one who came there and girl asked me to step from other side of the line because that's how it works. But as soon as I'm only one there why should I care? While I went other side some other people came in front of me and she served them first. I was really disappointed. The other day they didn't blend my smoothie enough and I was swallowing ice. I'm not sure if I'm going to come there every second day that I used to.

The best place in Llyod District to get the best Bubble Tea highly recommended.

This is one of the best places in Portland and the best place within the Lloyd district/Lloyd Centre Mall to get Bubble Tea ... I personally do not like to spend a lot for something that I enjoy and the prices here are astronomically fair for what you get. The customer service is on SUPER wonderful and helpful and the quality of everything they serve here/there is just YUMMY AF, now personally I have not tried everything they have to offer which is like a couple of menus items; however the items that me and fellow friends/family patrons have tried were completely liquid gold ...if you will... and in my opinion . Soooooo, when and if you can spare a moment of time and brave the Lloyd district itself LOL I humbly ask that any and all Tea loverZ to please come out and in so as to try some of their delectable treats today, otherwise you're just missing out on the best of the best and you're missing out on something that is enjoyable in cold weather and/or hot weather... it doesn't matter just get some and try and drink up for yourself today. Great question! Select smoothies can be made with soy milk, the iced teas are vegan, and some of the jellies as well!

I went around mid morning on a Wednesday, and it was super chill, not many people and low music played in the background. There was limited seating, due to the size of the shop, but they also had some seating outside as well. I got the Uncle Jesse smoothie bowl and a Mela watermelon water. The bowl was beautifully packaged in a to-go container. The top was wonderfully decorated with bananas, strawberries, coconut flakes, granola and peanut butter with the açaí smoothie underneath. If you stop and listen, you can hear a faint voice whispering, "throw me in your belly and receive my nutrients." Can't argue with that! Lol. It was very delicious, filling and everything came together nicely. A little more expensive then I'd like, but it was 10/10 will be going back for more.

Not sure if that's intentional, but I'm used to açaí being a little more on the firm side. The saving grace was the whipped coconut cream on top - that is definitely unique and tasted amazing. Also loved the honey drizzle on top since the açaí was just, I don't know, missing something. Didn't have any tang or sweetness to it. Kind of disappointing, but kind of ok. Maybe I'll try the smoothie next time. As for the açaí, I prefer Everbowl but hey at least I tried.

Ya know, it's weird that this has been in my drafts for forever. But I like this place. I like that…read morethey were down with the açaí bowl situation before it was cool (or at least, before it became de rigeur and/or spread to the damp and drippy PNW). I started chowing down on smoothie bowls in sunny southern California and the majorest of major metros like Manhattan, and it seems like it took forever for the "trend" to spread to our rainy neck of the woods. One could certainly get wheatgrass shots every which where, but smoothie bowls, not so much. ANYWAY, Carioca Bowls was leading the vanguard of delish and genuine açaí bowls in PDX long before it was an expected food variety in all hippie-ish towns in the US. Their bowls meet my exacting ingredient standards: Now that smoothie bowls have gone mainstream, many are just lightly disguised dessert with "health food" marketing: Hidden sweeteners and grody additives pushed on the unsuspecting hoi polloi ruin it for people who don't do their homework. But not Carioca Bowls: You can ACTUALLY get an unsweetened açaí bowl if that's your jam (it's mine: If I wanted dessert, I'd get a cupcake), and they don't drown the top in honey (honey has its place, and that place is far away from me), and drink in the extremely second-wave granola vibes while you're at it. Third-wave hippie food, like third-wave coffee shops, have suffered a loss of soul: Minimalist design, LED lighting, and cookie-cutter staff with vaseline smiles beckoning "welcome in!" with vacant looks in their eyes have sapped a lot of the joy from the spaces serving hippie food and matcha tea. Carioca Bowls remains a comfortingly messy, quirky callback to sincerity: Murals, houseplants, low lighting, a big messy garden-y space outdoors for sitting and chowing, organic unfussy aesthetics that make the whole scene just feel welcoming and comfy. You can eat your bowl here and not feel like you're a nuisance to the staff, or like there's a glaring spotlight on you (unlike SOME smoothie/juice/bowl places I could mention). Nary a whiff of extruded white plastic ANYWHERE in this place. It makes me feel at home, the way a wheatgrass-sniffin', long-hair-havin', big-hug-givin' hippie should feel. When I walk through the door, I feel RELAXED, ya know what I mean? Anyway, give it a try - this isn't my 'hood but I will still occasionally make a pilgrimage just to get a bowl and drink in the vibes. So if I were writing a Michelin guide (buy those tires!) I suppose I'd give this at least a star, as it's worth a special trip (IF you're into what I've described here - it's highly specific, but it's MY vibe). Anyway, long live Carioca Bowls!
