Brakes Plus can be expensive, but they do fix your vehicle right. And they accept the Synchrony car care credit card, which is why I had my car towed there when it broke down. The repair itself was at the expected price, and I had a good coupon too. The diagnostic fee was the only sticker shock on it, so expect that. At about 64,000 miles my car started shaking at speeds of 40 to 50 mph while I was braking. This happened for the first time since I bought the car and I bought it brand new. I took my car to Brakes Plus located at 5800 S Kipling Pkwy, Littleton, Colorado. They said I needed my front rotors to be machined, my rear drums to be machined and my brake fluid to be changed. I agreed despite the fact I realized that three things could not fail at once. Probability of such coincidence is zero. Those guys simply wanted to make more money off me. I decided to be nice to them. 9,000 miles later my car started shaking again. Those were mostly highway miles. I drove all the way to Boca Chica, Texas. I also had some business to take care of in Houston and other places. I was wondering if Brakes Plus provides a warranty on the job they are doing. So, on 3/3/21 I took my car to the same Brakes Plus location. A technician inspected the car. He did not introduce himself. He stated my rotors needed to be machined again. Next thing he did he asked a question What did you do to your brakes? Every capable of thinking person would understand the purpose of asking such a question. The purpose was to brush off their fault and put the fault on you. I drive for decades now. I did not change my driving habits lately and I never touched the brakes' parts by my hands, they did. Brakes Plus technicians, not me, did something wrong. They do not want to own it though. In addition, that cheerful technician started asking completely unrelated and inappropriate, in my opinion, personal questions like What do you do for a living? Those questions made me angry. I did not show it up though. I just said I did not need their help and left. read more

Today I had an appointment at Brakes Plus. My goal was to get an alignment. Bryce and his tech, noticed a bushing that was unattached. I had noticed a sway at times. In order to do the alignment properly, I would need to replace the bushing. What impressed me the most was this. He asked if I was in the area, and would like to take a look at it. I have a specific mechanic and shop that always works on our cars. In this case I felt confident and agreed for them to go ahead with the work. My car was ready in a little over 3 hours. I am very disappointed with my experience at Brakes Plus. I needed a single headlight replaced and they offered to fix it for a hefty price of $380!!!!! I am a young student and believe they were trying to take advantage of my situation. Luckily, I am not as naive as they think. The best. Had one of those bad days where my breaks started screaming at me. I normally do my own work but I happen to be using my car for work so the company told me to go get the work done. Ended up needing breaks and rotors done. Waiting for the work to be done. They test drove it and I took off. Two blocks down the street my break light came on so I pulled over and called them. They sent one of their techs out to me to see what was going on. He ended up bringing it back to the shop where about an hour ensued of Troubleshooting why my breaks were loosing pressure. They finally figured out my old master cylinder had blow out. Normal for this to happen. They got me an Uber so I could still make it to my daughters birthday then got me fixed up first thing the next morning. Spent about 5 hours in the shop. I now feel like I've got some new friends. These guys are honest, hard working and very kind. It's nice to finally be able to trust a shop. I live an hour south from here but if I need work done I cant do myself I'll be coming here. great place takes care of discount tire fuck ups

I've been to this location twice and was treated great both times! The first time they didn't find that I needed to change my brakes and while most places are after your money, they sent me off without charging me a dime. About 6 months later, I realized it was definitely time to change my brakes, I called them and was able to schedule an appointment for the following morning. They have a drop box that allows you to drop your car off if they're not open and by the next day my car brakes were changed and ready to go. When I went to pick up my car, even though it was late, I was greeted warmly and was recognized even though I had been there 6 months earlier. They also gave me an additional discount than the coupon that I went there with which I appreciated so very much. We took our car in for an oil change & when we left our engine was smoking. Thought maybe it was just some spilled oil burning off. The next day our engine caught on fire. Really nice and honest guys. When I came in last May I thought I needed new brakes. They told me I didn't need new brakes just the rotors turned. They were quick and their prices were reasonable. They could have put new brakes on and I wouldn't have known the brakes were still good. I appreciated their integrity. Kent and Crew are amazing. I know someone down on their luck and living in their car. Well they were having some work done elsewhere and ran into 3 of the 5 studs being broken on one assembly. This meant that the car was not able to be driven away from the facility. It was going to take 24 hours for them to be able to repair it and the car was going to have to stay in the shop for liability reasons. This is where Kent and crew spring to the scene. They came out to the other business and replaced the studs so the car was drivable. Mind you this was late and was very late in their work day. They worked on the car removing old broken studs and installed new studs. The vehicle is now safe and able to be driven until this person is able to get back on their feet. These guys are genuine human beings that go above and beyond for this individual. Tonight and forever more they are heroes. read more

Car appointments are my least favorite chore but I was pleasantly surprised today! I was warmly greeted and the team was ready to take my car right at 8am. They told me it would take about an hour and they were done in less! As I waited, the store got busy yet they were able to handle each customer's needs and make sure they explained the work needed or being done, just as they had done with me. I have had to take my car in several times to this location and have always been very happy with the service. One of my favorite parts is that they have good Saturday hours which is a life saver if you cant manage to get a car to the shop in the middle of the week. They are also very good with giving accurate quotes which takes away the dread come payment time on what the actual cost will be. Overall, it sucks having to get your car fixed but this location gets you back on the road quickly without breaking your wallet. read more

I was selling a car to a young woman and met her at this Brakes Plus location to have a pre-purchase inspection done. I had the car checked out by the dealership a week prior and the Check Engine light was not on, and it was not on while driving to Brakes Plus. After leaving Brakes Plus then check engine light was mysteriously on. The only conclusion I can reach is that is was turned on intentionally. This young woman was a regular customer at Brakes Plus and I think they saw her as easy money. I called Brakes Plus and told them my story (I spoke with a man named Adam). His response was it is my word against their's. I don't use breaks plus personally but if you are looking to use them, all I can say is be careful. read more
