This used to be one of my favorite locations to get a great home-cooked breakfast at anytime of the day. However unfortunately my last experience is going to make me reconsider coming back to this location again. I placed a Phone order at 7 PM (2 hours before they close ) so I expected to still receive quality service since I came within a reasonable amount of time before closing however this was not the case. The woman who took our order and our payment was rude and seemed as though she couldn't wait to get us out the door. We got 2 orders of French toast and a side of biscuits and gravy so you can imagine how frustrated I was to get home and see that she did not give me any syrup for my breakfast order which meant that I had to leave And drive back to the restaurant just to get something that should have already been in the bag. By the time i came back one with my syrup my food was cold and i realized my biscuits were dry and burnt. At this point i was not going to go back to the restaurant again nor will i ever again... food was gross and extremely overpriced ... i paid $31 for my food not to mention all the gas i wasted going driving to the restaurant twice. If I could give zero stars, I would. My husband and I used to go here quite frequently (maybe once a month) even though EVERY time we left unsatisfied. Food and service are subpar. So it was not to my surprise that when we went for a quick breakfast burrito on June 3rd that I slipped and fell in spilled water in the middle of the floor! It was so humiliating! My knee hurt so bad. I had to go to urgent care for X-rays and pain medication. All the owner told me was "Thank you for using your insurance" to pay for my visit to the doctor. I have been here a few times for breakfast and the food and service was pretty good. Today I went for lunch and it was horrible. It wasn't busy so we were sat right away, we ordered a patty melt with French fries and chicken tenders with onion rings. I can tell you that not one thing was made fresh, the fries were lukewarm and limp with no flavor, the patty melt was not hot or juicy or flavorful, you could tell it was reheated, the chicken tenders were dry and over fried and onion rings over cooked. Just all pulled from a freezer and thrown in oil, all gross. The server was ok but took forever to check back and even longer to get us our check. We happened upon this place because my son was in his usual mood of wanting American breakfast. I am not a big fan of American food, but I generally let him choose our meals. The chain restaurants in the area were packed and not worth the wait so we decided to give this place a try. We still had to wait for a table here, but did not mind. There were large families and groups of military folks dining. The menu had a nice variety of breakfast served all day, Mexican breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a senior menu. Angel F. was our server and I was thoroughly impressed with his friendliness, efficient service, and great work ethic. He kept my coffee mug full, I never had to ask for anything, not even a box for the leftovers. He never rushed us to order or to leave, which is the main reason I try to stay away from major chain restaurants. This restaurant serves real, homemade food-the eggs were not of the typical powdered variety one would find in other establishments. We ordered the Kids' french toast breakfast and the Chile Verde Omelette. The hashbrowns, french toast, and bacon were cooked fresh and to perfection. And what awed me were the generous slices of perfectly ripened avocado and sour cream folded in the middle of the omelette, topped with their popular chile verde sauce. I never expect much from restaurant coffee, but they serve decently strong coffee and their strawberry lemonade had chunks of pureed strawberries in it. They have any of the condiments we would need and extra napkins on the table. The salsa comes in a duo cupholder with pico de gallo and salsa. If the quality of food and service are consistent, this will become our regular place. In the past, I hestitated to try this place due to reviews about their poor customer service, which was not our experience today. My son can enjoy his food and I can keep trying different items. I opted for something popular, which is not something I would usually order, but was impressed. We will return as I am interested in their vegetarian menu items. read more

Been here several times and the service wasn't that great. If you're a regular customer you get top notch service tho. They're on it to make sure the diner is doing good. As for an occasional diner, I've found this Brandon's to have the worse service. I definitely won't be coming back to this one. Our server was helping another server and not once came back to check on us. By the time the regular server came out we were done. Nothing wrong with our food, kudos to the chefs. It's the servers who need to have some in-house training. They have signs to wear masks and not many of the workers worn masks. I cringe to think that someone who might be infected could of breathed on my food. In a food establishment workers should wear masks. My family and I were on our way back to Arizona from Anaheim and needed to get some food. We luckily stumbled upon Brandon's Diner and so glad we did! We were seated right away (Sunday Morning, table for 5) and we were brought our beverages quickly. We ordered four different plates and they were all great portions with good flavor. The Huevos Rancheros had a good kick and the Country Skillet had a good ratio of eggs/meats/veggies to hash browns. The side of French Toast was delicious and I can't even tell you how many cups of coffee we all had because our cups were constantly being refilled. Can't believe I've been missing out on this place! Came in today with a party of 7. They were really busy when we walked in and knew we would have to wait. (Busy place is always a good sign) The hostess was super nice! After a few minutes we were sat down . Our drinks were taken right away! The menu is WOW. So much to choose from, but decided to go for the supreme chilaquiles with chorizo! Our server was Amazing! I believe her name was Myra! Brandon's Diner takes for granted that customers will come to dine there because they've been in the neighborhood for some time, but it's not the case. This is my 3rd and last time I will be eating here. They seat African American's in the back of the restaurant, the food comes out extremely cold, or maybe it's left in the window too long. The waitress (Erica) is insensitive , careless, sarcastic, and unconcerned. Quite a few people from our community have been going to Brandon's Diner for taco tuesday lately and, for the most part, have been happy with the service and food. But I am sorry to report about the incident that happened this evening. I ordered 3 beef tacos with a side of Pico degallo and guacamole. After my first bite, I discovered large chuncks of hard plastic in my taco. Another member of our party also ordered the pico and it cane with a grape in it. I asked to speak to the manager, who did not come out to address the issue but sent our server instead. He said he would replace the dish but would that I would still be charged for the meal. If I have to inspect everything, I order firm Brandons. I do not think I will be returning and will recommend it to my friends and neighbors.
