She was very attentive to the table next to us though, went out of her way to serve them but if we asked for spoons, cheese in our grits, or an over easy egg, she rolled her eyes. We mentioned that the lamb chops were dry, and it was evident from the three untouched chops on the plate. Two people had only taken one bite from each, so it was clear we didn't eat them. There was no offer of a replacement or even an apology. When we asked for lemonade to go, the server said there were no refills, despite the circumstances. It would have been reasonable to offer a complimentary lemonade given the issues with the lamb chops. Breakfast at Barney's never misses for me. The Yard Bird and Waffles is my go to and it is always so good. The chicken is seasoned and crispy, the waffles are fluffy, and together they just work. It is one of those plates you think about later in the day like "wow, I really ate good this morning." The service was great and the waitresses were very kind! We ordered the Yard bird, Shrimp and Grits, Salmon Croquettes, and the Savannah Fish and Grits. Everything was delicious. The grits were super creamy and flavorful, and the fish was fried to perfection! I love the vibe here, and it is one of my top brunch places when it comes to the food! The only issue I had that made me rate it 4/5 stars, is the soul rolls. We had a 1pm appointment to celebrate my birthday. No appetizers ever came. We asked for our checks at 2:30pm and paid for the drinks and left. An hour and a half sitting in the dark for 1 drink was absolutely disgusting, I won't be returning to this establishment. They have mandatory 20% gratuity and they act like it. No need to provide good service when your tip is coming regardless. Ryan (I think he was the manager) tried his best to help us get help but that place needs more than 1 person that cares. Seating us in someone's section that is going home shouldn't happen! It was an overall terrible experience and I never wish to dine here ever again. I only got a single piece and it was a pretty nice size. The soul rolls were yummy as well! A good balance of all the components. The lobster was nice. Outside of the lobster on top, there wasn't any lobster inside! I wanted to try one more thing, but they aren't allowed to make modifications to orders. Although I was seated because it was early and raining cats & dogs outside, the rest of my party was late. This was yesterday, 8/3/2025. I forgot her name, but an employee kept coming by my table and asking where the others were. They were on the way. At one point, when I told her how far out they were, she said, "Hmmmmm." She was rude, making me uncomfortable. I could not control the speed of the other 2 people who were OTW. I told them that woman was being a punctual pain in the butt. Here's what happened: First, this is what I do: I take six- and seven-figure women to different cities for high-end brunch experiences. I flew into Atlanta to host a curated brunch experience for a group of accomplished women. My team confirmed every detail before I stepped on the plane. I even visited the restaurant the day before, had breakfast, walked the space, and was personally assured we were locked in for the Rich Life Room. That night--less than 12 hours before my event--I got a call saying they were considering splitting my group up because a "VIP" had made a last-minute request for the same room. I told them that was unacceptable. I reminded them that I had spent real money--not just on the food, but on flights, hotel, rentals, decor, and printed materials. The staffer called back and said management agreed: our reservation came first, and we were good to go. The next morning, I arrived to be told: "An executive decision was made." Just like that, our reservation was overridden. We were moved to a smaller space, crammed in without enough seats, and I ended up missing 75% of my own event because I didn't even have a place to sit. Their "apology"? A bottle. I didn't bring a group of 50-year-old businesswomen across the country for a lounge section bottle gesture. We're not here for clout. The grits flavor was great, but the texture was soupy. My bowl barely had any grits in it. The breakfast potatoes were good but these I'm sure were just fry and serve. I didn't have any cocktails because the starting price of basic cocktails was $18-100. And they weren't even curated cocktails just basic ones. You can definitely expect a wait so come as early as possible to put your name down on the list and have your whole party together and ready.
