I've been to the Finn and feathers in the Riverdale area, which wasn't the best experience. It's more spacious and beautiful there with a dance floor but here it's a little smaller more cozy. I ordered a honey bourbon Blaze salmon with mac & cheese and mashed potatoes lol yes two starches. And I also got some fried pickles. I was not a fan of the chipotle sauce. I said the soup came with so I got ranch instead. The salmon was cooked perfectly very fresh and the glaze really gave it a different type of kick. The mac & cheese is very creamy and thick so I suggest they get silverware because the plastic silverware didn't know justice lol the mashed potatoes was good. It had skins from the potatoes still in it, which I'm definitely enjoy, and it was seasoned perfectly. My Bartender was named Has she was very attentive and very sweet. They've got both indoor and outdoor seating; we chose outdoors since it was warm and sunny that day. Parking was just across the street for $8 per hour. Fin and Feathers is what I call a "clubstaraunt" (club + restaurant lol). Music bumping, hookah on the menu, and cheap drinks. The food hit the spot, 5 winds and a basket full of crispy fries, paired with a $5 margarita? Don't mind if I do. Visited this spot on 404 day in Atlanta and had a great time celebrating my friend's birthday. Arrived and parked across the street from the restaurant. Parking that day was $25. I was not happy about that. Walked across the street to the restaurant and was immediately greeted by the hostess and taken to our seats my friend eventually changed her mind and we were seated on the patio. Thank goodness there was a fan on the patio because it was a little warm that day. I ordered an angry orchard, but there was ice water available during the whole time we were there. I tried the chicken thigh nuggets, the catfish nuggets and the chicken tacos. Everything I tried was really good and well seasoned. The fries weren't that amazing but they were french fries nonetheless. I also tried the sautéed spinach and the mashed potatoes and both were delicious. Ended up having to stop by the restroom before paying our bill which ended up being a little over $50 for the two of us (me and my homegirl). The bathroom was fairly clean, but the trashcan was overflowing and needed to be emptied. This is my third visit to a Fin & Feathers but this was my first time visiting the location in Midtown. They have several items on the happy hour menu for $5 which includes margaritas, rum punch (2-3 other drinks), the chicken Caesar wrap, 4 wings and fries, 2 chicken strips and fries and some tacos. My coworkers and I popped in to order something for lunch. The ambiance was relaxed. Customer Service was prompt, being that we were the only patrons in the restaurant around 12:30pm. We quickly looked over the menu to place to go orders. Chef Penny advised us that it would be a 20-minute wait on fried foods because the fryers were just being tuned on...Wait what?! I was confused, being that they open at 11a.m. ANYWHO!! Orders still placed. The wait was longer than expected, more like 45 minutes. I definitely wouldn't go again around lunchtime. The food just didn't seem fresh. The Mac n' cheese seemed like it was reheated and leftover from the day before . My colleague said their grilled fish didn't taste great and had an upset stomach afterward. Decided to hit Fin & feathers in Midtown for a little happy hour situation with a couple of associates. To know me is to know that I have loved feathers ever since before they expanded to Midtown. Midtown is a pretty laid-back environment and at night time can become a pretty popular restaurant considering it's right in the midst of all the action in Midtown On this particular visit, I decided to try their fried pickles which I have never had with the side of ranch and I also got catfish nuggets and fries which I always get! I love their catfish nuggets. I tell everybody about them when they decide to go to fin & feathers . The picture you see is a Hennessy margarita which I typically get everywhere I go to start the festivities off. This particular visit I really wasn't find of the waiter that we had. I can't remember his name although I do know that he had a little bit too much of a laid-back attitude towards everything. He was not really on top of our order. He had forgotten to ring a couple of things in However, this has not been my experience in the past at fin and feathers, so I'm not gonna let this one incident stop me from continuing to go. We were a little late to our reservation due to a previous engagement running over but she made us feel like we were on time and took very good care of us. Came here with my coworkers for a birthday happy hour earlier this week. They were nice and accommodating for our party size. I like that their happy hour is longer/later than most in the area. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress had a trainee and they were both polite, smiled and asked detailed questions about how we preferred our drinks and food. The happy hour menu is soo soo good. I ordered wings and fries, fish tacos and chicken tacos and 3 margaritas. Each item was $5. The portion and flavors were great. Our waitress checked on our table very frequently which allowed us to keep ordering. My only critique is the parking situation. I think customers should have a free lot. My husband and I visited this establishment on May 30, 2025. I saw them on Yelp, read the reviews and visited their website. I decided to try them based on their menu, location to our hotel and the venue we were going to that night. When we got there, we were greeted right away. We sat inside, but in a cramped area. The booths were worn and cracked. The one thing I missed on the website was that it was a hookah bar as well. That was a big turnoff as well. There were TV's with loud music blaring all over the place. Now, to their credit, it was music that catered to their average customer. But that was not us. I ordered lamb chops medium rare, which is what drew me there. My husband ordered the ribeye rare. My lamb chops came out well done. His ribeye was cooked rare. However, the meat was small. My lamb chops could have been eaten in about 4 bites for each chop (there were three). My husband was disappointed in his size. We felt it was not worth the price we paid. When we got the bill, there was a 20% tip already included. There was also a place to add an additional tip This was a big turn off for us. We always pay 20%. But for a restaurant to just automatically add it in without stating this anywhere on a menu or on the table is misleading. This restaurant was just not for us. That is not to say it is not for other people. It was full of people. It was just not our vibe or scene. Ways to inprove: 1. Invest on updating the interior. The furniture is really old, torn and outdated. The layout was awkward and even the servers were having a hard time getting around. 2. Be more transparent about adding in the tip to the bill. You should provide a paper bill prior to just giving the guest a handheld machine for them to just tap their credit card. People do like to see what they are being charged for. 3. Make sure you advertise more on your website what type of restaurant you are. I actually had a hard time navigating it. read more

I have been to ATL plenty of times, and I have not had a worse experience than the one my friends and I had at Fin & Feathers. We had a group size of 10 and we made reservations on 3/24/26 for 12pm. We got there and the table wasn't ready which would have been fine if the restaurant was crowded but it was literally about 10 ppl there at the time. Our waitress was great and the drinks were strong HOWEVER the food situation was subpar and thats being nice. The cheesy eggs we all ordered came with unmelted shredded cheese just thrown on top that smelled and tasted terrible. The potatoes were greasy, cold and unseasoned and you could tell that they were previously frozen. They brought our food out in waves, not even remotely close in time so we could all eat together. The only plate of food that had any real flavor was the catfish and grits. Everything else wasn't even mediocre at best. One person in our party's food took so long we were all done eating and we told them not to even bother bringing it and gave her whatever was left over from other people's plates. We spoke to the manager. He apologized and gave a $96 discount on an almost $500 bill. Which we did no think was sufficient enough for the lack of quality and lack of taste in the food, but we were ready to go and did not fight it. Listen. I wasn't sure if I'd like this restaurant, but I absolutely did. From the door I felt welcomed and at home. The hostess allowed us a minute to decide if we wanted to sit at a table or at the bar. We didn't feel rushed or pressured. There was another employee talking to her and they both halted their conversation to assist us. That was awesome. There was a DJ and I don't usually like that aspect of restaurants because I don't like yelling to talk to people, but the volume was perfect. We were able to vibe to the 90s R&B and Hip Hop while enjoying our food and conversation. Our server was so polite and helpful. She made drink suggestions and also checked on us frequently. We had French toast bites with a little fruit on the side and mimosas. We loved everything!!!!! This space doesn't look from the outside like it does on the inside. The front entrance is tucked away, so you would think it's small. It is huge. There is a large open space in front of the bar so people can come up to get drinks while others sit at the bar. I'd say outta all the typical, "Atlanta turn up brunch spots", Fins & Feathers is part of the few that run the business well...They do have a slightly similar menu as most brunch places in that category, but they have a handful of unique menu options and how they customize sides is a tad different... The flow of the restaurant is nice too. Although your seated adjacent to other parties, the venue is a giant L shape with a balcony attached so it does seem somewhat more intimate when seated. The bathrooms are also nice with marble tile and great for photo oops as I do that whenever I come here! Hookah is of course served and the service for that was shockingly fast... by now you can tell I don't have much luck at "turn up brunch spots", but this place is different. The DJ played good jams and our waitress was nice and provided attentive service, checking in with us if something was taking a tad longer than normal. Not much else to say.
