    Coffee Bar Menu 9/2026

My husband and I are vacationing in the desert for the weekend. The service was very kind and answered all our questions. Ask about the different potato options. Decoration was very charming and the restaurant was clean. Food portions were perfect. Love my Portuguese sausage! The jam was also a highlight of my meal. Great menu choices but we stayed to the basic breakfast and brioche french toast.

What an absolute joy to find this cool little place. We came for the weekend to see a concert and I found this place to go before we left in Chat. Quirky and cute details, Flora is awesome to chat with and makes you feel welcome. Rosa was our attentive server giving advice on what to order. Tony the manager is running a quality yet fun place We had a little of this and that. The coffee is very good. Mimosas and fun cocktails. Brussel sprout potatoes were a cool add. If in town we would come again. Fun way to end our getaway weekend.

Came into town and found this place and do not let the people in line discourage you. We were told wait time would be 35 mins but we were sat sooner. Unlimited cafe de olla, so good, yes even on a hot day. The cluck burger really flavorful and the meat was cooked nicely. I had a bite of my friends mac and cheese with bacon and topped with scramble eggs. Pancakes was ok to me, didn't taste much of the buttermilk fluffiness. Service is great, server was friendly and helpful. Seating inside and outside but in over 100 degrees, everyone is choosing to sit inside.

Perhaps we're just spoiled from our experiences in San Diego, but this Breakfast Republic wasn't as good as we've come to expect. The service was friendly enough. But we were told we could sit at the bar then quickly got moved because my daughter isn't 21. That's never happened at a family restaurant in CA to us before. But ok. At least they sat us immediately at a two top. But once sat our server was just ok. I love BR's bottomless cafe de olla. This one was good. We ordered a benedict, coffee cake, and chilaquiles. The Benedict was ok. Eggs weren't super runny a little harder than we like. The potatoes looked dry and super plain almost free hotel breakfast style potatoes if you know what I mean. My chilaquiles were good. But the coffee cake was something to pass on. It was flat and dry. I took a couple small forks of the streusel from the top and left the rest. Disappointing. I don't know if it's just the miserable heat of Palm Desert in June or because the restaurant was packed but it wasn't the coolest temp in there. Overall it was just an average experience which is disappointing considering what we've know Breakfast Republic to be.

Ohhhhhhhhh my gawdddddd!! This is a get your ass to Breakfast Republic review ! We were not expecting this place to be so mindblowingly delicious . I'm going to dream about the vegan tres leches pancakes for eternity . Melt in your mouth & hands down the best I've EVER HAD! The veggie frittata was also noteworthy and totally plant based . They have a great vegan menu & even served on separate "vegan " logo'd dishes . Loved that ! Hubby chose a Portuguese breakfast and said it was phenomenally great as well. They fried up some jalapeños for some heat for him ,no problem. Place was packed and now I know why . Everything is a humorous vibe , you'll see a selfie station that says " run cock run" on it and every napkin wrapper has a funny quote , servers were all wonderful and we will go out of our way for breakfast here again. My vote for best vegan pancakes !

Came in for Sunday brunch. The wait was about 15-20 minutes and the restaurant is usually full. Staff was very friendly and we had very fast service as well. The restaurant itself is very cute they had cute salt and pepper egg shakers and the seating was nice. The patio is also nice, we sat inside. We ordered the jambalaya and yogurt bowl. The food was great and it came in 5 minutes after ordering. I'd definitely come back

First time visiting. Place was packed. Got seated quickly, though. Hostess was not friendly and not responsive to a repeated question about the menu. Had to wait to get seated to get service to help with questions. Food had an off-taste and color to staple items. Eggs were a weird yellow-orange color, bacon looked and tasted off. Only item we were able to stomach was the English muffin. They sell funny shirts. That was an interesting tidbit.

Got the rooster flight pancakes. My favorite is definitely the milk and cereal pancake! The ube latte was okay, I preferred the Mexican mocha latter better. We were a group of 9 and we were seated quickly on a Friday with no wait.

Excellent. Extensive menu with so many breakfast and lunch favorites. Super service and the hostess was 6* Local chain. Clean bathrooms thanks for that. Big fans. See you soon!

I found this place in yelp we were in palm springs for a little get away. Customer service was good friendly, food in my opinion was ok Coffee and pancakes were good. I order chilaquiles with carne asada the cheese was bad I told the server the cheese tasted funny she told the cook about it and they confirmed it was bad she offered to change my chilaquiles I said no by this point It ruin my appetite. They didn't offer not even a little discount. And their food is on the pricey side.

This little gem of a restaurant was the perfect way to end a weekend getaway to Indio. The service was AMAZING! Our food was delicious and the place was just so fun! We ordered a variety of food from a turkey sandwich to brioche French toast. There were 7 of us and they were so accommodating and welcoming. We just added this to our list of breakfast places to go to when in the Palm Desert area.

Came here at the peak of busy and the staff were professional and kind. We were lucky to snag a spot at the counter instead of waiting 30 minutes. I had the vegan breakfast burrito, which was surprisingly good. He had the shrimp and grits and said they were the best he's had, which is saying a lot since we spend quite a bit of time dining on the gulf coast. The portions are really nice as well. Cute inside. We will certainly return.

I am surprised I have never wrote a review about this place. I have been here multiple times. Food is always great every time I come. I love the BAE Mac. My bf really liked the bacon pancakes and potatoes. Service was normal not above and beyond. Sometimes this place has a long wait in the mornings so be prepared for that. We came around 12pm so thankfully there wasn't a wait.

The entrance lead you down a hallway toward the hostess stand, with couches, a bar and a piano being played to the left. To the right , you enter the main dining room. The space felt open, elegant, and immediately welcoming. Talk about fine dining at its best. The hostess was able to quickly seat our party of six, and our server immediately brought over the menus and filled our water glasses. THE FOOD: We started with the oysters , and they did not disappoint. They were served with a shallot mignonette which was vinegary in all the right ways. They were so good, that we ended up ordering a second round. For dinner, we all ordered the steak with mushrooms and broccoli. The steak was perfectly cooked, and every bite was bursting with flavor. Even the mushrooms and broccoli stood out. Everything was seasoned beautifully without overpowering the actual flavors of the vegetables. Even the bread was so good. It was served with three different butters. And dessert? Also top notch. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful dinner with friends. THE SERVICE: The service really added to the experience. Our server was attentive and took great care of us. The GM, Ray, also stopped by our table, and we ended up chatting and joking with him a bit. He was incredibly friendly and personable and made sure we were having a great experience. Morgan's in the Desert: Disappointment After Disappointment. $400 for Meh…read more After living in La Quinta for four years, we were ready to try Morgan's, as it's one of the last foodie restaurants in the Coachella valley that we haven't tried. We arrived early for our reservation, excited to grab a drink at the bar before dinner. Then we were told our table was already available... only to be seated at a dining table in the bar, off to the side, where apparently servers do not exist while staring at the back of the pianist and the barflies. The two bartenders were fantastic--especially Brian, who was working at warp speed--but they already had a packed bar to manage. Adding dining tables to their workload was clearly not realistic. Why were we seated there? Still a mystery. Reservation problems: I booked through the QR code advertised in The Gem for the August prix fixe dinners at La Quinta Resort's restaurants. When we arrived, we were told the prix fixe menu wasn't available that day. Sorry! So we ordered bread and oysters instead. About 15-20 minutes later, the manager came over and said they would honor the prix fixe after all. Great! Except... we'd already ordered appetizers. ‍ And wow, was it SLOW. We were seated at 5:30 and still didn't have our entrées at 7:00. Drinks regularly sat empty, and once the restaurant got busy around 6:30, water refills disappeared completely. Did I mention it was 110 degrees outside? The food? A mixed bag--but overall, wildly overpriced and underwhelming. * Oysters: Ice-cold and served with a good mignonette. Also pricey. * Bread: Fresh and warm, but the olive tapenade was aggressively salty. Again, overpriced. * Watermelon salad: The winner! Refreshing, flavorful, and the spicy nuts gave it a nice kick. Highly recommend. * Chicken cacciatore: Dry chicken, undercooked tomatoes, overcooked pasta. Never again. * Oscar filet: Delicious and well-prepared, but nothing memorable or special--especially for the price. Bottom line: We spent about $400 for a frustrating, painfully slow, mostly mediocre meal. There are too many great restaurants in the area to spend that kind of money on "meh." We won't be back.
