Perhaps we're just spoiled from our experiences in San Diego, but this Breakfast Republic wasn't as good as we've come to expect. The service was friendly enough. But we were told we could sit at the bar then quickly got moved because my daughter isn't 21. That's never happened at a family restaurant in CA to us before. But ok. At least they sat us immediately at a two top. But once sat our server was just ok. I love BR's bottomless cafe de olla. This one was good. We ordered a benedict, coffee cake, and chilaquiles. The Benedict was ok. Eggs weren't super runny a little harder than we like. The potatoes looked dry and super plain almost free hotel breakfast style potatoes if you know what I mean. My chilaquiles were good. But the coffee cake was something to pass on. It was flat and dry. I took a couple small forks of the streusel from the top and left the rest. Disappointing. I don't know if it's just the miserable heat of Palm Desert in June or because the restaurant was packed but it wasn't the coolest temp in there. Overall it was just an average experience which is disappointing considering what we've know Breakfast Republic to be.

Got the rooster flight pancakes. My favorite is definitely the milk and cereal pancake! The ube latte was okay, I preferred the Mexican mocha latter better. We were a group of 9 and we were seated quickly on a Friday with no wait.

Ohhhhhhhhh my gawdddddd!! This is a get your ass to Breakfast Republic review ! We were not expecting this place to be so mindblowingly delicious . I'm going to dream about the vegan tres leches pancakes for eternity . Melt in your mouth & hands down the best I've EVER HAD! The veggie frittata was also noteworthy and totally plant based . They have a great vegan menu & even served on separate "vegan " logo'd dishes . Loved that ! Hubby chose a Portuguese breakfast and said it was phenomenally great as well. They fried up some jalapeños for some heat for him ,no problem. Place was packed and now I know why . Everything is a humorous vibe , you'll see a selfie station that says " run cock run" on it and every napkin wrapper has a funny quote , servers were all wonderful and we will go out of our way for breakfast here again. My vote for best vegan pancakes !

Came in for Sunday brunch. The wait was about 15-20 minutes and the restaurant is usually full. Staff was very friendly and we had very fast service as well. The restaurant itself is very cute they had cute salt and pepper egg shakers and the seating was nice. The patio is also nice, we sat inside. We ordered the jambalaya and yogurt bowl. The food was great and it came in 5 minutes after ordering. I'd definitely come back

This little gem of a restaurant was the perfect way to end a weekend getaway to Indio. The service was AMAZING! Our food was delicious and the place was just so fun! We ordered a variety of food from a turkey sandwich to brioche French toast. There were 7 of us and they were so accommodating and welcoming. We just added this to our list of breakfast places to go to when in the Palm Desert area.

This has quickly become one of my favorite breakfast and brunch spots. Everything I've tried has been amazing--I've already sampled about four different dishes, and every one of them has been fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The coffee is excellent and pairs perfectly with the food. The service is another standout. The staff is friendly, attentive, and the food comes out surprisingly fast without sacrificing quality. I also love the atmosphere. The restaurant has a unique style with incredible attention to detail, from the décor to the lighting, creating a warm and inviting space that's perfect for breakfast or brunch. If you're looking for great food, amazing coffee, fast service, and a beautiful atmosphere, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I'll definitely be coming back!

Came here at the peak of busy and the staff were professional and kind. We were lucky to snag a spot at the counter instead of waiting 30 minutes. I had the vegan breakfast burrito, which was surprisingly good. He had the shrimp and grits and said they were the best he's had, which is saying a lot since we spend quite a bit of time dining on the gulf coast. The portions are really nice as well. Cute inside. We will certainly return.

First time visiting. Place was packed. Got seated quickly, though. Hostess was not friendly and not responsive to a repeated question about the menu. Had to wait to get seated to get service to help with questions. Food had an off-taste and color to staple items. Eggs were a weird yellow-orange color, bacon looked and tasted off. Only item we were able to stomach was the English muffin. They sell funny shirts. That was an interesting tidbit.

I am surprised I have never wrote a review about this place. I have been here multiple times. Food is always great every time I come. I love the BAE Mac. My bf really liked the bacon pancakes and potatoes. Service was normal not above and beyond. Sometimes this place has a long wait in the mornings so be prepared for that. We came around 12pm so thankfully there wasn't a wait.

Breakfast Republic is my go to breakfast spot when in Palm Desert. The Shrimp and Grits is to die for! They are consistently good every time & are the best item on the menu - in my opinion of course. The service is always on point even when busy, because they do get busy - but the staff is always helpful with any questions and friendly. The decor is fun, giving a modern twist to the diner feel.

    Great quote!

Always wanted to try this place and thankful we did. Flora was very good at keeping the crowd and seating organized. The service was excellent, thanks to Thalia!! Very vibrant staff and the ambiance is adorable! We will be back! We will also try the one close to home in Long Beach. Thank you!

This place was a hit. Their breakfast is awesome and decent sized portions. They also offer bottomless cafe de olla which is awesome. I definitely partook in that. I had the BR Sammie which was delicious. My cousin also offered to let me try her breakfast burrito and it had a lot of flavor. You can even share it with another person due to its size. I'm glad to know there is a location on closer to me and will be going back. The service was also good. Our waitress was nice and attended to our table of 6 very well despite it being packed on a holiday.

It clearly caters to a sophisticated crowd--very similar in vibe to their Calabasas location. While parking is accessible in the rear, it can get congested during peak season. The menu is extensive with plenty of excellent selections, though the pricing is definitely premium. For instance, a Cobb salad topped with fish can easily exceed $45; while the quality is high, that's a significant jump over nearby staples like Daily Grill. Service was friendly but lacked consistency; our server disappeared mid-meal without a hand-off, requiring us to flag down other staff. Overall, it's a bright, airy, and stylish spot well worth a visit, provided you're prepared for the 'luxury' price point.

At first we thought that we would have to check in with the hostess for a seat at the bar but found out that we didn't as someone else just walked right up. It was the start of happy hour which was the reason for the visit. Just wanted a drink and maybe a light bite. There was 2 seats that were available at the bar which was perfect timing as when we got seated, a few other people walked in but ended up just ordering drinks while waiting for a seat to open up. Happy hours from 3-5 which I feel like loads of people come for it. They offer a couple dollars off of starters, wine and beer. For small bites, 5.00 sliders and 6.00 fish tacos. Limited but a little discount on the starters. We had a glass of wine which was 4.00 off with the HH. Of course with that, something to munch on was needed. Clearly they're known for the coconut shrimp starters which we were informed by the bartender. And from the looks of it, pretty much everyone sitting there had an order. Which was a given for us to get. It came with five shrimp, decent size with a nice glaze sauce and adorned with coleslaw which was quite tasty. Definitely worth it. And the sliders, one each. Wow, I'm not much of a burger person but they were tasty. Cooked perfectly, the meat was juicy and served pretty simple with grilled onions, sauce, a slice of cheese and a slice of pickle on top of the bun. Simple yet very tasty and flavorful. The service was great at the bar. Gentlemen taking care of use was sweet and quite friendly. Seemed like it's a local and regular hangout as he seemed to know everyone sitting there. The wine was tasty and the bites were great. Coconut shrimp was a hit as well as the sliders which I do recommend. Even on a Monday right at 3, the bar area was pretty packed already. The potatoes they gave also were flavorless and super hard, it needed more time in the oven. Kinda disappointing. My husband got the ahi tuna poke bowl. The presentation was nice just like the chicken Benedict but the amount of tuna versus the rice and everything else was not a good ratio. The flavor was good tho.
