Took friend there and got a pork belly Benedict. Was delicious! Came with smash potatoes and kale salad on the side. My friend got a hamburger. This time I sat inside. Was still a little noisy compared to sitting last time outside with car noise from the street. They should just cut the music as if was barely heard with all the talking inside and added to the noise level. Also, our waiter last time checked on us often. This time we waited a bit, and I needed to flag down the waitress. I also flagged her down to get boxes and then later flagged someone down to get check. This was after waiting a good bit each time for original waitress. Friendly staff, but they were very busy with their chores like making coffee, etc. as we could watch and see. Very yummy food with great service. Lots of great options for breakfast and lunch, and great non alcoholic drinks too. Our server found out we were vegetarian and let us know that they fried their chilaquiles and fries in the same fryer as the chicken. I was very grateful for her letting us know. First off SuSu is a wonderful host and treated us well the second we checked in. Kristin the manager was terrific. Our waiter Jose was fantastic, PLUS I reconnected with my favorite waiter, Jesus, who left another restaurant I frequent to work here. We got there 30 minutes after they opened, we were seated right away, service was quickly friendly and one of the owners/managers stopped to check in and chat for a minute. We got our food very quickly as well. Seating was comfortable and they had highchairs for you small eaters. I got the tofu hash, it was really good and their green chile was delicious. Crispy tofu, potato's, and veggies consisted of artichoke hearts, cauliflower, and mushrooms. I'm not a fan of mushrooms and they were rather generous with the portioning of mushroom, so if you are a fellow fungi hater then be warned. Also note if you are a strict vegan/vegetarian they do put chicken stock in the green chile. For my veggie peeps I would recommend! They have several vegan and vegetarian options to choose from. They have vegan waffles and I want to try next time! I recommend you get there early, the later it gets the busier it gets. read more

My group and I dined here recently and had a less than ideal experience. It was a windy day and they had their doors open, and a big wind gust made one of their paintings fall off the wall and into our table. It missed hitting my friend on their head by a hair, but did shatter our glasses to the point that we had glass all over our bodies, and had to physically walk outside to brush off while they cleaned the table. It was a very startling experience. I know the wind wasn't their fault, but given that this was very close to being a big lawsuit had it hit my friend in the head, you'd think they would have comped more times on our bill. They did provide one round of free drinks after we said something, but we shouldn't have had to say anything. The food was decent but I'm just left feeling like they don't value their customers. Also their paintings are only held on by one tiny nail, so this could easily happen again. Don't go there on a windy day! read more

I ordered the chicken fried steak biscuits side of potatoes. Potatoes were very tasty. The biscuit was super thin and definitely couldn't pick it up with a fork. I asked for no onions of any kind but there were still some that I picked out. My daughter ordered churro French toast which I felt lacked cinnamon and sugar but were still good. The parking can be a little tricky, so if you're going on a weekend, I highly recommend ride share or a lot of patience. Lol. We were greeted and seated immediately when we walked in and our server was awesome. I ordered the Banana Foster French toast. It was delicious! I brought a sibling from Houston here to have a good breakfast and they delivered. She got the bananas foster French toast and I got the huevos rancheros over easy with Christmas. I live far from here so it won't be a usual place for me, but it was good. The red chile was quite amazing and when we spoke to our fantastic server, he said it is homemade daily. I am picky about my red chile and they were so good, we got a side of it to take home. I know the wait can be lo by but we didn't wait. We came on Halloween morning around 10:30am. So, there is a bunch of buzz about that new breakfast spot, "Brekkie Brekkie". I had yet to try it myself, but I did recommend my boyfriend and coworker to make a trip over there because I'd been hearing a lot about it, they loved it! Lucky me, he took me the following weekend. It was a Saturday morning just after 9:00 am when we got our name down for a table for two. The parking lot is tight, and there's people walking to and from the restaurant. Okay. Busy, like I expected. We were quoted 35-40 minute wait, but luckily, we were seated in only 16! (Yes I timed it!) Two coffees were ordered along with a classic breakfast and the huevos rancheros. Our table was a true two top. Not very large at all, and once everything arrived, there was hardly any room left on our table. That was a bit frustrating. The food? It was alright. The huevos rancheros didn't stand out. I got it christmas with red and green chile. Neither were spectacular and the plate was a lil on the messy side. It was good, but I don't think I would order it again. The smashed potatoes were the best thing on the plate. There were a lot of crunchy bits and yet the potato was still soft in all the right places. It is a bit loud, and the dining room really isn't that big. Good thing is, tables get turned pretty quickly. Still not sure I understand the need for a full service bar for just breakfast and lunch, but it's there for all you lushes out there. Came on a Sunday morning around 8:15 am got sat right away. Service was good until I had to pay the bill. I first noticed I did jot get charged the correct amount I was under charged as I ordered some to go waffles. So I let my server know he thanked me for being honest then he charges me 86 dollars for two people. After I reviewed the bill I realized the bill was for the family next to me as it has a chocolate martini on it first of all I don't drink and second don't know too many people who drink alcohol that early lol. Anyway I let the server know and they ran my card again for the correct amount. There was a big confusion they had to get the manager etc. Just my opinion it is good to have your servers help all but you have to make sure they are communicating with each other when it comes to a bill. Having my credit card charged an extra 86 bucks for something I wasn't responsible for is unacceptable!!! And the manager said should take a day or two to come post?? Unacceptable!! Food I had the brisket benny which was good at the time but had a small stomach ache couple hours after my son had juevos he said red chile was hot and tasty but over all good. Some of the best brunch food around. We both ordered two different Eggs Benedict plates and they were to die for. The side salad that came on the plate was incredibly flavorful and unlike anything we've ever had before. Their service was very attentive. We had Memphis and she was not only on top of the table with refills and extras but she took the time to really describe the menu in detail when we had questions. Their orange juice is the best around. Literally just freshly squeezed oranges. We also had a couple of their flavored ciders which didn't disappoint. The patio is beautiful and kept us warm when we went in the late winter. The live music was a nice touch. The musician had a huge variety and even had his son come up and sing. It was really cute and completed the whole experience. We'll continue to recommend this to all of our friends and family. read more

We all expected the foods to be all mixed together (it's hash!!) but the potatoes were just big chunks of halved small potatoes and the meat (or tofu) were big chunks of food. What a delightful lunch! A few of us took a friend for their birthday. They bring out a dessert crepe with whipped cream and Happy Birthday written in chocolate . Delicious. One of us had the waffles, there were two hash skillets with egg whites and veggies and I had the smoked brisket and biscuit dish. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our server worked her butt off. They were swamped at 11:30. Told us a 15 minute wait and we had a seat in 8 minutes. We sat outside which was shaded and comfortable. The menu is creative. Have been there once before and had huevos rancheros and I enjoyed...but the brisket was over the top. They use it in more than one dish. My only criticism is the parking. Not enough parking for the size of the business. Parked 1 block to the west and had a short walk. Yes, it was worth it ! read more

I've been to Brekki Brekki 4x now. What I have learned is the service / food you receive during the week will be quite different than going at prime time Saturday / Sunday. We went on a Saturday around 10:30am. It was busy with a small line forming at the bar area. People did not want to wait outside because it was cold so the line formed inside. What in turn happened was the line of people waiting ended up hovering over some of the tables where people were already dining. Next, the hostess asked where we'd like to sit. I said it didn't matter we'd take "first available". She said it would be a 40 minute wait. We waited outside. I noticed empty tables outside, but figured those were being prepared for people ahead of us. A party of 4 came in after us and were immediately seated outside. I asked the hostess why weren't we seated when I asked for "first available" and she said she didn't know that included outside. We order chilaquiles and pork belly eggs Benedict along with a coffee. We get the coffee and it's watered down. The over easy eggs were overcooked on the chilaquiles and my pork belly was straight up cold; which sucked because it was already cold outside and now I'm eating cold pork :-( The only lukewarm item on my plate was the potatoes. ((Unfortunately, I can't recommend/comment on the pork belly because it was stiff, cold and not the savory melt in your mouth texture I was hoping for.)) Service was great and I didn't really want to complain but we got asked about 4-5 times if everything was okay so then we were honest. The staff accommodated us for the mistakes and apologized for the wait. The food still tasted good. Service was still great. To summarize: 1) waiting area crowded into the dining area 2) hostess miscommunication 3) watered down coffee 4) received fried eggs when asked for over-easy 5) received cold food The wait time honestly did not bother me because I saw it was busy, but to wait to receive cold food...not ok. NONE of that happened on the previous times I have visited. The other times I have visited have always been during the week, not the weekend. That experience above was my first weekend experience. So! Now I understand some of the negative reviews. I'm hoping Brekki Brekki can make whatever changes they need to in order to remain consistent during prime time brunch hours. During the week when I've gone: 5 out of 5 stars. Saturday Brunch was a 3/5 star. So if you're reading this and had a bad experience here: I recommend trying again during the week instead of Saturday / Sunday! read more

Excellent food and great service. Very accommodating to changes and additions. Even made a few suggestions to combine items for what we were craving. I'd like to try the entire menu. Only drawback(s): Trying to park there. I've had to leave to go elsewhere after circling the lot for a space and finding nothing. May be an issue of timing, but parking is tight and there are a lot of "no parking for the restaurant" signs, and even those were full, though maybe for adjacent businesses. And noise: Made it in once only to leave because my husband's ears were ringing. I've been back with friends and when we *could* find a parking spot, I was able to tolerate the noise level with no problem, but it *was* loud. My partner and I decided to try Brekki Brekki last week, upon arrival it definitely was busy. We didn't have to wait long but realized there's no designated waiting area so we awkwardly stood by the door as more people filed in. As we finally sat, we were promptly greeted by our server and she was very friendly! I tried an oat-milk gingerbread latte that was amazing! I also tried the protein skillet with bacon, not sure if all skillets come with brisket but there were several pieces in my skillet I wasn't aware would be there since I ordered bacon lol. The food was ok, my partner ordered the fried chicken biscuits which were cute but not enough food for him. I would definitely give this place a try again, however I feel the aesthetics and IG vibe far more supersede the food. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. All four of us loved our breakfast here this morning. Highly recommend! Right from the start, the entire staff had a super positive attitude and set a great tone. Really enhanced the experience. Atmosphere was whimsical and fun. My wife wanted a picture in front of the decorations. Mimosas with fresh squeezed orange juice were excellent. The beer on tap was great, too. Loved that they had three IPAs to choose from. For the food, they nailed it on multiple fronts. The biscuits/toast were great, but so were the sausage and brisket. The place is nicely decorated, great menu with some unique items and some breakfast standards. Food tasted good, great flavor, and affordable. Only reason that I am giving it four stars instead of five is they were meant to open at 7am, they did not open until closer to 8am because of snowy weather. Not totally their fault. Tried this place for first time on a Sunday and it was packed. It's a pleasant atmosphere, even has a bar. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito. It came with a lot of home fries and lots of bacon inside. I ordered a waffle with berries. Both dishes were more than enough for two people. The food was pretty good, but I did not like the coffee. First off I loved when this location was B2B Brewery and was bummed they didn't make it but I was very happy to see that Brekki Brekki had moved in and seemed to be making it work. I think I set myself up to be disappointed by reading all of the amazing reviews and totally overlooking the whole picture. The good parts were that on a Sunday we arrived around 8:45 am and were seated pretty quickly with a half full dining room. About 30 minutes later there was a waiting line out the door! The ambiance, decor and vibe were great but it the excitement was quickly snuffed out by the experience as a whole. The food was ok. I ordered a CBLT, Fried chicken, bacon, lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and tomato jam. It was ok. The Chicken was a dead ringer for the chicken fried steak that I order from Omaha Steaks. A Heat and Eat meal I make when short on time at home. Not the Fried Chicken I thought would accompany my meal. We also ordered Fried Buttermilk Chicken that was described as "Waffles with maple syrup and a side of gravy". As you can see in my photos, the gravy was served with the CBLT and the "Fried" chicken was the same frozen chicken patty that accompanied my CBLT. The prices were inline with most other restaurants of the same caliber although I've never been informed that an addition for ONE egg would cost me an additional $3!! We started with one waiter who took our drink and food orders and then disappeared for the entirety of our visit. No coffee or water refills or follow up of any sort. A different staff member delivered our food and we had to flag down a third employee to retrieve our check. It seems that many people enjoy Brekki Brekki and it is very possible that I just ordered the wrong menu items. I would love to know what keeps people coming back. I love this place as it brings a fresh concept to ABQ while also serving some delicious takes on brunch and some with New Mexican inspiration! It is a wait, but they had an outdoor area shaded with tables that allowed those waiting to enjoy the summer weather and had a mini bar. That day they even had a DJ with song bingo! A fun and interactive way to entertain yourself while waiting for your table. I've never experienced that before with any restaurant/bar here. As far as the food goes, it was well seasoned and my partner really enjoyed the green and red chile on his burrito and he is a chile lover. My favorite was the boba mimosa, really delicious and I loved the idea. Next time I want to try their pancakes, waffles, or french toast. I just didn't want to stuff myself. Staff are very attentive and friendly, service was quick, despite being suuuuper busy. I really liked the modern decor and feels like I'm not in NM. Overall I would recommend this place for everyone! Maybe it was the goofy name that I probably would have appreciated more if I was from some British Commonwealth or Baltic country. Anyway, we were pleasantly surprised; the employees we encountered were very friendly and attentive, the coffee was great and our cups were never empty, and the portions are substantial. We tried Brekki Brekki for brunch today and we're not disappointed with the food! Drinks from the bar were good, we tried the mojito, Bloody Mary, and the Creme Brûlée Espresso Martini which stole the show as best drink. Pork Belly Benny was delicious, classic BLT and traditional breakfast were both good, but the CBLT (fried chicken BLT open faced on a biscuit) was incredible! Definitely my favorite dish. We also tried the margarita flight which was good, though the flavors were quite intense in the mango and watermelon making them taste too sweet and syrupy. We really enjoyed their outside area in the back which had a really good live musician! Lots of well shaded seats, and the wait wasn't too long for a party of 5 during a rush.
