I had a plumbing service request with AHS for a pipe leaking in my ceiling. I was a bit apprehensive when I read the reviews here but I have to say, that I have nothing but high marks for this company based on my personal experience. They reached out promptly soon after the request was assigned to them. I missed the call but when I called back the lady who answered was very pleasant and helpful. She worked to get me on the schedule that day and answered all my questions. The technician Gerson called me 30-35 minutes ahead of arriving to let me know he was on his way as I was told he would. He arrived on time and was very professional and courteous. I was also very impressed and thankful that he brought shoes covers and put them on before entering the house. He was knowledgeable, protected the work area with a blanket and replaced the leaking pipe in minimal time. He was able to address some concerns I had about other potential leaks developing elsewhere given the nature of this current issue. Once he was finished, he tested and observed to make sure the leak was resolved. He cleaned up the work area and the area was clean even though he had to cut drywall to get to the pipes. I would not hesitate to use them again!

Absolutely the worst. Was contracted out by AHS, they're never on time even though they give you a 4-8 hour window. They have been no shows on multiple occasions that left me waiting for 5-6+ hours for no one to show up. One incident, I was told by the scheduler he was running late and would be here after 4.. at around 530 I reached out again with no response until the next morning where they were told technician said he stopped by at 6pm (2 hours after the 12-4 window) and said no one was home. It was a complete lie, I was sitting in my living room waiting until 7pm waiting for them and was home all night. Waited around the next day, the hot water heater was replaced. Next morning... no hot water. Called again, they were supposed to come out, went 4 days with no hot water. The day he was scheduled to come out I waited 7 hours. I called around 530/6 and got no answer. He arrived at 7pm and said he didn't know he had to come out. He "fixed it" and left. I have hot water, but i can't even take a 10 min shower without it having to be turned to the hottest temperature and it going cold. They also came out to fix a leak behind my refrigerator wall. First guy showed up, didn't do anything because he didn't have any parts and was supposed to schedule to come out to fix it. He closed the ticket saying he fixed it. Called again, they said the service had been completed and had to explain to them he didn't touch or do anything. They sent another technician out who was clearly irritated with the other technician and was threatening to fire him for not doing his job. I told him the leak was BEHIND the wall, He replace the refrigerator line (on a brand new fridge that wasn't leaking) and put a new valve on the water line and left. A week later I noticed my floors were warped and water was coming through. I moved my fridge and where he had cut the drywall, was soaking wet and had mold on the inside. Went down to my crawl space and there was a huge puddle of water underneath where the wall is upstairs behind the fridge and the insulation was soaked and discolored. Called again, the technician I had the first time came out and said the valve wasn't tight enough. I asked about the damages and he said he would submit everything for someone to come out and inspect the damages they caused and should be getting a call within a week. No one reached out. Over a week ment by and I kept tripping over my warped floors, closer inspection, there was water seeping through again. Another ticket through AHS was submitted and they tried arguing with me about it because the ticket was saying it had been closed since December with no issues. And I had to explain to them that the technician closed it out saying work was completed when it wasn't. They scheduled me an 8 1/2 hour window to come out today. I said I wasn't waiting all day and they needed to be here first thing this morning no later than 9am. they said they understood and it wouldn't be a problem. I am writing this review at 945 am. I have called customer service multiple times with no answer. My kitchen floors are completely ruined and I'm sure the subflooring isn't in good shape along with the moldy drywall, insulation and whatever other unseen damage there is. I am beyond infuriated at this point.

I found their services through The Home Depot. The technician attached the pressure tank to the wall missing the wood studs. As a result both screws went through the wall and damaged the ceramic tile in the bathroom on the other side. After discovering the damage I promptly contacted the salesperson to report the issue. She assured me that she would inform the General Manager about the situation. I appreciated her quick response and willingness to help. I also sent pictures of the broken tile to show the extent of the problem. I have not received any communication from the General Manager or any other representative of Brick Street Plumbing. My claim still inconclusive as of today.

There was an initial mixup about the appointment time, but that was soon sorted, and Saul contacted me prior to his arrival and arrived on time. Quickly getting to work, he identified the problem with our gas insert. He was able to fix the immediate problem to return it to working order and then explained what was happening and why. He also provided what next steps would be for a more permanent solution. It was a very professional, friendly service call.

The main problem and downside is that they are very expensive and overcharge. Despite the Yelp page saying that the company provides a "free estimate", I was quoted $49 for the technician to travel. In addition, if I had not chosen to go ahead with the repair, the company would have charged me an additional $150 diagnostic fee. Essentially, despite the yelp profile stating a "free estimate", it will cost you closer to $200 to get a quote. I see this as false advertisement. In addition, when the technician concluded that the problem was the capacitor, I received a final quote of $600. When I googled the price of the same capacitor online, the price range was in between 75$ - 150$. Essentially, they are charging a premium of at least $450 per replacement for a single part (capacitor). Despite their professionalism and quality work, I do not recommend this company for the reasons stated above. If price is not a concern for you, and you would rather pay twice the market value for a job then you should definitely choose them. EDIT: I actually googled the price of a capacitor and offered to buy my own. I was told that by the technician that if I purchased my own capacitor that the company would not install it. In conclusion, they did not address any of my concerns. Unfortunately, after reading the other bad reviews, there seems to be a consistent pattern of discrepancies between what they tell customers and what they instruct technicians to say on site. Making an honest living is so much more rewarding than making it dishonest living.

What an amazing experience with Mark from Lyons!…read more 5+ stars for service, quality, and value. My husband asked several plumbers for quotes, and Mark was the first to reply, right away. He gave us a fair estimate based on the problem description and scheduled a visit immediately. True to his word, he quoted the exact cost when he arrived. During his first visit, Mark was thorough, answered every question, and explained everything clearly. He fixed half the issue on the spot and returned the next day to finish the job. Because the old valve was badly installed and the surrounding "box" cracked when it was removed, Mark went above and beyond. He replaced the whole box and the new valves, a service that would normally cost an extra$200, but he didn't charge us a cent for it. He tested everything before leaving, and when I mentioned our weak‑pressure shower, he instantly diagnosed the cause, explained what caused it, and showed me the issue, and fixed it at no additional cost. I also asked about the slow draining sink, and Mark handed me a tool to remove the debris and showed me how to access the clog. Again, this was free of charge. Mark assured us that Lyons' labor and parts come with a one‑year warranty and that the components used are built to last. In today's world, it's hard to trust someone you don't know, but Mark made us feel completely comfortable and at ease. We're thrilled with the service and will gladly refer Mark and Lyons to anyone needing plumbing or drainage help! We will no longer be looking for another plumber again.

The two guys (one was called Jay) worked their butts off with a snake and unblocked the drain (which has been problematic for years, by the way). They did an incredible job and I was extremely pleased with their work. About 12 months later (November 2024) I called the company again because I noticed the drain was getting blocked again. The guy they sent this time (Brian) snaked for less than 10 minutes, and spend more than an hour explaining how the drain is broken and they need to do a full replacement, a job of more than $2,500 to set up new drains in our house. He talked to my husband on the phone for a while explaining what he wants to do and recommending several options that were clearly problematic. In the end, they served us a bill of almost $450 leaving me with a pipe that still does not drain and the promise to do an estimate for what they explained would cost well above $3,000 -- which I don't have and which I had made perfectly clear to begin with. I am sure there may be honest, hardworking people at this company, and I don't want to hurt anyone who is trying to work hard and make an honest living. My last experience, however, was awful and leaves us strapped for cash, with a blocked drain and no reasonable solution, a week before Thanksgiving. I would not wish this on anyone else.
