We ordered Calzones from here via DoorDash. When they arrived, both orders were burnt so badly that we could not even eat them. They were grotesque even to look at. Thankfully, DoorDash made it right for us, and I hate to leave a negative review, but I also don't want someone else to experience what we did. I saw that they were serving heart-shaped pizza for Valentine's Day and I was sold. Believe it or not I've never had a heart shaped pizza before and I'm happy I came here to try it out first. If you've ever been to the Food Lab you know that finding a seat can be a pain, but fortunately that night it wasn't too busy and we sat at the BeerFarm. I ordered the V-day special, which was the pizza and two drinks. After about 15 mins, the pizza was done. I didn't get anything fancy or extra on my pizza. I prefer cheese, sauce, and pepperoni, the end. My Coke wasn't flat, which I read another review that all the soda was gross, but even though I had beer, I can confirm that the first sips where in fact refreshing. Another thing I want to mention is that the pizza was not excessively greasy, from another review that was posted. I guess I should have a taken a picture of the box as evidence but I mean, if you've ever eaten Pizza Hut and survived, this is nothing like that. The only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars is that they didn't have Parmesan. I had to ask and the poor girl had to go look for it. I'm a cheese fanatic so the little cup was simply not enough. But other that that, the pizza was good and I was especially fond of the crust. The food, the atmosphere and the freshness of the pizza will have me coming back again. Delicious pizza! My boyfriend and I were looking for stone fire pizza in the area, and stumbled across Bricks and Birch... and I'm glad we did! The employee said the Ron Swanson (aka the meat lovers) is the most popular. We decided to try the Triple B (Brussel sprouts, bacon, balsamic) because it is unique and we love brussel sprouts, but we'd never had them on a pizza before. I'm glad we did, because we both loved it! I can't wait to come back and try the Rocket Man. This has to be either a bad day or this pizza place is the worst I've ever had. My girlfriend, daughter and I wanted to try this pizza place because my daughter was craving a pizza. We waited to be helped which took a bit since they were backed up, which is perfectly ok. When we got our pizza, the top of the pizza was literally soaking in grease and we had to dab it with a paper towel. Ok, let's give it a try right? The first slice we picked up, the entire toppings including cheese fell right off the slice and onto the box. It was disgusting, but hey let's give it a try? Looks can be deceiving. After trying half a slice I literally wanted to complain, but decided to just take it home since they were busy at that moment. We tried to bake it again in our oven to see if we can salvage it and NOPE, didn't work and the pizza actually started to drip grease onto our oven. Very good wood-fired pizza. I've eaten here at least 30 times, and every pizza is great. They are happy to do custom pizzas, half and half, etc. My kids eat the whole thing every time. Great food while enjoying a brew at Beerfarm, and I'm excited to try their new offerings (calzones, paninis, wings). Riverside Food Lab is a great place to lose a few hours of the day. However, the choices of what to eat can be overwhelming at times. Luckily, Bricks and Birch can deliver. The Margherita Pizza is always a crowd pleaser if you want a straight forward pie, but the Caprese or even the Rocket Man can dial up the experience, adding some flavor to the perfect crust that is the true art of B&B. For those that want a flavor explosion, try the half jalepeno popper and half pepperoni. You are welcome for that gem. Or, order the Swineapple, Ron Swanson, Spicy Buffalo etc ... You sacrifice a little bit of the extraordinary crust, but the flavors are wonderful. As an aside, the wife is addicted to the new paninis on the board and the oven baked chicken wings deserve a mention. Beer is reasonable at $7.50 a pint. Was debating whether to give this place a 3 or a 4, and after some thinking I decided to give it a 3. This place is located in the Riverside Food Lab. Its in the corner next to the bar and some Indian food place I think it was. I wanted something on the smaller side that was easier to eat and thats why I decided to come here out of all the places. First thing I want to say about this place is the staff here is kind of awkward. I didn't really feel welcome. Everyone there seemed like they were over their job already, which tbh I get. I ordered the Swineapple pizza and a Sprite. My Sprite tasted like carbonated water so I asked if I could switch out for a different drink. I got a Dr Pepper instead, and again it just tasted like carbonated water. They said there was a problem with their fountain machine but didn't tell me until after I got my Dr. Pepper. The pizza I got here was good, but not great. They give a modest amount of toppings on the pizza but flavor is a bit lacking in my opinion. That being said, I would still recommend and would come back again. read more

When I walked into the Food Lab, I made a tour of what sounded good. If Pizza is an option, that is my go-to! Ordering the miniature size pizza, I expected it to be larger than it was. This is partially my fault for not asking to see a visual since the items are written in chalk and sizes aren't shown unless maybe you ask to see them. Just as I expected, the pizza was delicious. However, there was a ton of grease that stained the box that it was placed in when I received my food. Not sure how I felt about that, but clearly knew it couldn't be good for my health. My pizza with a tiny side of ranch was just a little over $11. My entire pizza was maybe the size of 2 slices that were cut into 4 pieces. Rediculous! Charged for ranch dressing, I knew I wasn't coming back to this place. Will not recommend. However, I will not recommend the Food Lab, whatsoever. read more
