UPDATE:Contact manager, Arrogance is taught at this restaurant, you can not keep blaming Covid for crappy service... Apparently moving 2 people around is not social distancing issue but moving one is??.. social distancing not the issue.. but the lady manager will preach it to death for a bad mannered worker.. it start from the top sweetheart! She should go somewhere else!) she was watching for a spot to open at the bar as was I for she knew I wanted to watch the game on a tv.. a couple got up so I moved in, tried to see the tv from the corner spot(fan in the way) so I moved to the third seat in my row of seats.. the male bartender moved the seats asked how many then stuck me at the corner of the bar, okay?( there were 3 stool for me to choose but got moved to the furthest for social distancing.??.. )ok.. the couple beside me said we will be moving you can have our spot..great! Well another couple entered the bar, stood between two seat options and was told you can't stand there by the male bartender while serving them drinks but I have two sets of couples getting up you can sit there.. so they stayed at the bar not 6 ft away... so my couple got up I moved to the seat they were going to give me and told by the male bartender I couldn't sit there because this couple needed to and his boss will get mad if he doesn't keep it flowing! Shrugged his shoulders and walked away.. Really? I didn't argue just left!! 20 years as server/ bartender even thru this pandemic and never have I treated or been so disregarded for being a single at the bar?!? So disappointed! What makes it even more sad I pay to sit! For four hours you could of had yourself a decent tip! SMH! Just horrible! read more

Great little bar with outside seating and a beautiful night was a winning combination. I had a mixed cocktail that is their most popular a Beckie's Bikini Babe. It was delicious with a nice orange wedge garnish on my plastic cup. Coconut Rum, Dark Rum, Pineapple Juice, Orange Juice and a splash of a Pina Colada. Perfect drink it hit the mark my hubby and friend had mixed drinks and it was nice just to chill. If you need to use the restrooms they are across the street in their indoor establishment which appears closed aka Covid. But luckily the restrooms are well maintained and clean. They open at 11:30 am, and by 10:30, people were already waiting to get in. We loved every minute of our lunch experience there! The high chair available, near the water tables, natural tree shade, wuick, positive waitresses, absolutely phenomenal food! My husband had fish tacos with fries, I had Ceasar salad with grouper. The fish on tacos was fresh and the flavor balanced vegetables, greens, and seafood. The grouper for my salad was blackened, the fish was delicious and very fresh. For the child they brought fried shrimp: 4 pattered and fried shrimp were caught earlier that morning. Our little one packed them in no time. The atmosphere is open and positive, friendly waitresses and eco-friendly paper straws and silverware. Also, the Bloody Marys are spicy and come with a variety of in-house pickled veggies. We visited many places on our vacation and I felt like we had some of the best food (thanks to Yelp recommendations) and great service. This little place is a boaters paradise. It has a boat dock and an outdoor shell floor patio. The mahi fish tacos were a winner and the drinks were strong. I especially liked my banana daiquiri. The Bridge Tender Inn is in a fun location and has live music. There are very few wheat or gluten free options. When I asked the server what I could eat that is wheat free he said - Grilled Chicken and salad. This happens to be what I typically eat when there are few wheat free options. I hope they get some gluten free bread in the future! I did end up eating the nachos with chili that turned out to be tasty. The serving was big enough that three of us shared it and we still had some left over. The others also ate fish tacos and a sandwich. The fish tacos, my friend told me, were very salty. Came to the Bridge Tender at about 11-:05 this morning. Parked in designated parking and did not know they opened at 11:30. There was a young woman who was very brash and told us to come back. We did. JOSH WAS AMAZING!!! She was somewhat helpful and courteous. Very stressed out! We came back after our beach experience and grabbed a table. Noone cleaned it- or addressed us! 10 minutes later a very sweet girl Jill came over and cleaned our table. In the interim, my man ordered from the bar. He was chastised for doing so by Julie, the manager! You are here to take care of the public! I understand that your busy, but hire some help! Get it together, or take some Xanax! 7-6-19 This visit we brought along our youngest, he is 13 and the week before he had been asking to buy stuff to make Reubens at home. So he got your Reuben and he like Stephanie a very picky eater. He loved it!!! Stephanie is very predictable and we she finds what she likes she sticks with it!!! She got the burger and fries like last year. Normally I mix it up a lot but I was really hankering for the fish tacos again. All the food tasted really good, my only thing I saw as weak was the portions, I know a burger or sandwich is limited by the bread or bun. I was meaning the fries, they were what I would have considered 1/2 size and my tacos were also lots of extra tortilla, short on fillings. Maybe it was because it was Memorial Day weekend, but just parking to get here is a hassle. Had to park in a gravel lot that charges $22 an hour. We decided to sit outside to listen to the live music, but most of the tables were dirty and I had to clean ours myself. The waitress seemed nice and brought menus, but said she was doing double duty as bartender and the only server. When she didn't comeback after about 15 minutes to take our drink order we left without ordering anything at all. I'm assuming it's a staffing issue with this place because it didn't seem all that busy at 4:30. Disappointing since a friend recommended the restaurant. read more

And yes, I'm surprised, I know this, but hey, that's what happens when you live in the Midwest, not Cheesehead territory, almost all of your life. This place is also good when it is pouring rain out, and you have your dog with you, and you can only be at an outside inside type of place. Our food was ehh, and very forgettable. I had fish tacos and my hubby had a burger. For the price, yep, it was ehh. I was just super thankful that with all the pouring rain, we were perfectly dry, so that made it good. I am truly surprised (happily) at how good the food is. Having never been inside the nicer indoor portion of the restaurant, I have only experienced the indoor / outdoor "bar" section. It looks like a typical small bar with a patio on the street (this is located on the side of the property on Bay Dr). I was with a group of 5 people and we were looking for a place to have a beer and get a bite to eat. This place was perfect. When we got there it was somewhat empty but as the musical entertainment began to set up, the crowd grew quickly. Through the course of the evening, we ordered a number of different things to eat. Nachos, fish tacos, Buffalo shrimp, hot dogs and more. Everything was either good or great. None of the food disappointed. The nachos were made with really fresh lettuce and tomatoes, crispy chips and a nice helping of cheese, onions, black beans and more. The fish tacos had large pieces of amazingly fresh fish and were heavily blackened. They are spicy and wonderful. My favorite of all was the Buffalo shrimp. They shrimp were huge and perfectly battered. The Buffalo sauce was on the hotter side but not too hot. They didn't ask if we wanted ranch or blue cheese like many places do . . They just delivered them with BOTH options. And these weren't Sysco pre packaged dressings . . They tasted like freshly made dressings. I didn't get a bite of the huge chili dog but it looked great and got really good reviews. So why the 4 stars and not 5 ? My main complaint is the poor beer selection. Everything about this place screams "perfect for beer and comfort food" but in my view this requires a nice selection of craft beers and locally brewed beers. No Cigar City Jai Alai ? No J Dubs Uptop ? No Motorworks options ? Mostly just typical big name generic beer. They did have 1 IPA (which I drank but wasn't fond of). They do have a fully stocked bar which is more reason they should have better beer options. The service was good not great on drinks but the food was brought out piping hot from the kitchen by separate food servers (a true thumbs up here). I look forward to coming back to check out the water side bar they opened across the street and also the indoor section of the restaurant. I highly recommend this establishment but I'm begging them to expand their craft beer selections. I can't wait to come back for more of the Buffalo shrimp soon. I hope I can wash it down with a Jai Alai next time. :-) read more

Bartenders and music are so fun. In response to Edward's one star review below we were there the same night. 2 of his grandchildren ran in the middle of the street and no one drunk from their table even noticed their toddler kids were gone. Thank God the barmaid they referred to Dana was sober and grabbed the kiddies before they got hit by a car. I recommend for fun and some music on the water. The fish dip is the bomb!!!! read more
