Tammy went and did it again! Her welcoming personality and warm smile are all it takes to start the day off right! She has a way of making our experience here so wonderful! We enjoyed our breakfast as always. We ordered off the light menu, and it didn't disappoint.

They recently renovated and it looks great. They were short staffed but we still had great service ! The breakfast is one of the best meals around and the price is very reasonable. We eat here at least once a month but I can see a lot of locals eating here more often. They also have events, live music and I imagine you could rent out the venue as well. Bathrooms are clean and if you want to split one of their huge breakfasts you can for a small fee. Perfect for our breakfast.

My breakfast was good and the coffee was okay. Generous serving size. Prices are reasonable. And I had attentive service by Tammy.

This location is SUPER lowkey and I see why they are. The menu here is HUGE, but so simple. Very affordable and the staff is super family orientated which we love. It is very small inside, but they also have an outside seating and to be honest either or is super accommodating. We were a party of 5 and everything we ate did not disappoint. I had the biscuit and gravy with bacon, eggs and a waffle on the side. I personally had to season my gravy, but I like that a lot only because I like how to season my own sausage and gravy. After I seasoned it, I demolished every bite of it. I also tried my husbands chicken fried steak and of course you can't mess that up. They also have two options of hash brown and both versions (country and shredded potatoes) are cooked perfectly unless you asked them super well done. The waffle its self was super fluffy and perfectly sweet with syrup drenched in it. We definitely make this our weekend spot as a treat only because they are closed by 7pm. Haven't gone here during dinner, but hopefully we can make it. Other than that, we've been here 3x's already and we stick to the breakfast only because we want to try everything - LOL! Next on our list is their Texas frenchtoast. I will say with this place growing with customers, be PATIENT with the staff because they're sweet and spot on with orders.

The bar room was offered and based on our experience of a live band or good music we chose of our area. Unfortunately, the service ( if there was any) was non existent . We sat there for more than 10 minutes. No one asked us a question. Came to check on us or anything. They watched us. Do you have a food return to the dining room with menus and hand and no one attempted to see what was going on There were only two other couples sitting in the room. It was almost empty. We wound up moving back to the dining area because we plan to have tea and coffee. Once we or seated in the main dining area, the service was stellar. They checked on its regularly. We got water immediately. They took our order within 3 to 5 minutes that continue to check on us throughout the meal refilled our beverages. It is regularly crowded there the beautiful world that room is covered by direct sunlight from the windows that show you the waterfront there's plenty of seating, the music is loud enough to enjoy but low enough to have conversation and enjoy your meal simply perfect I got my favorite the crab sand, which is at market price and delicious. My husband had a jumbo shrimp scrambled that comes with bacon and avocado, and it was delicious. I adore this restaurant and I really enjoy the fact that they've started covering the outdoor patio area so you don't have direct Son. It's a perfect place to enjoy a good Saturday or Sunday brunch with friends and family. It's always have fun. How am full of live with people enjoying their meal Except to spam $50-$75 a person depending on what you choose to eat from the menu and what type of beverage you have and that only includes one beverage Your average brunch scramble or omelette runs about 30 bucks. Anything seafood will be 40 bucks plus coffee and $3.75 and refillable which I love and I can't really show you the cost of a cocktail. It's been a minute.

The service was okay, our waitress checked in periodically and ensured if we needed anything. Now, with this in mind, I do not feel that the quality of the food and the price reflect one another. This is all pretty standard breakfast food but for double the price you'd get at a regular breakfast diner. I understand that maybe prices need to be adjusted higher due to the placement of the restaurant, but I'd rather eat at a restaurant that has a lack of scenery and outstanding food than vice versa. Honestly I think the a detail about the food I disliked the most was the mimosa. A bottle of $10 sparkling white wine accompanied with a splash of guava and cranberry juice for two people... wrong alcohol for a mimosa, tiny juice additions, AND for the price of $30.... As a person who loves a good mimosa, this was honestly not the best light to this restaurant. As I stated previously I have eaten at Monica's before and did not write a review because usually I want to try a restaurant at least two/three times before creating an opinion. After eating this last time, it was the same experience as the first two times. I saw the owners responses to others who have written similar experiences and it's basically the same responses "we will let our team know" but after years of letting the team know, it seems nothing has been changing. Honestly not worth it in my opinion, maybe once for the scenic view, but not for the food.

The place looks really nice now--such a pleasant spot to sit, enjoy your treats, and relax, especially with kids. The ice cream is always delicious, and we absolutely love their affogato. I was also amazed that they go by cups--we got a lot for the large cups, which felt like great value! I did want to share a small piece of feedback about our recent visit. In the past, water was available in small jars, but now it's set up in a larger dispenser. After ordering ice cream, we went to grab some water, but it had run out. I let the staff member in front know, and she kindly explained that they were out, which I completely understood. However, another staff member suddenly commented that there was no water and that if I wanted some, I should buy and pay for it. It was a bit surprising--not because of the policy, but because of the tone, which came across as a bit harsh. Maybe she was just having a bad day, which I can understand, but the delivery didn't feel very welcoming. I want to emphasize that I have no issue paying for water at all; in fact, I planned to go back to the car after ice cream to get water since we parked nearby. It was just the way it was said that didn't sit well. I didn't say anything at the moment since I understand everyone can have off days, but I do think consistency in how customers are spoken to is important--others might not take that tone as lightly. When I sat down, another staff member came over and offered my family water. If you happen to read this--thank you. Your kindness really meant a lot to us. Overall, we still enjoy coming here for the great ice cream, generous portions, and the cozy atmosphere. Sharing this as feedback because we enjoy this place and would love to keep having great experiences here.

I said out loud because I was sitting outside that if she got her order already that means ours should have already been done. I took it from her when she handed it to me. We were going to wait another longer time just because the employee gave it to the wrong customer first. PLEASE take names for the order please!! They called out the item, if that, then please notice who ordered FIRST of same item. I would have been mad if we had to wait, my star rating would be 2...besides that the bubble waffle Nutella works was good Small location but spacious with seating inside and out. The first time, I was deciding between two drinks and asked the cashier which one she recommended. I went with her suggestion, but after trying it, I realized I really didn't like the taste. I politely asked if I could switch to a different drink, but was told no because of the store's policy. While I understand that policies exist, I later called the customer service number listed on their social media to confirm that this was indeed their policy. Instead of addressing my question, the person I spoke with seemed more concerned about asking, "How did you get this phone number?" That interaction felt unprofessional and dismissive. My second visit wasn't much better. My friend and I walked in, and the cashier didn't greet us or acknowledge that she'd be with us shortly. She was making another drink, looked over at us, then looked away, and we waited about five minutes without any acknowledgment. When the customer she was helping came up to pick up their drink, she took the time to have a brief conversation with them while we continued waiting to order. When she finally came over, there was no apology for the wait or even a simple "Hi, how are you?"--just, "What can I get you?" The coffee may be good, but customer service plays a big role in the overall experience. Based on my two visits, I think there's a lot of room for improvement in how customers are welcomed and treated. Unfortunately, these interactions have made me hesitant to return.

The morning atmosphere has that classic neighborhood warmth to it--no rush, no fuss--just comfort food done the way it's meant to be. From the moment we sat down, everything felt familiar in the best way, like our past and present got to meet right at the breakfast table. Our food was just... exactly right. The flavors were satisfying and full, the portions were the kind that make you feel taken care of, and the whole meal tasted like it was made with care instead of shortcuts. It's the type of breakfast that doesn't try too hard, but still delivers. Even after all this time away, **it was still excellent**, which is honestly the biggest compliment I can give. What made the visit extra special was the nostalgia. We weren't just eating breakfast--we were remembering why we loved coming here in the first place. It brought back that feeling of earlier mornings, earlier routines, and time spent together without even realizing how much we'd missed it. Coming back after so long made the experience feel bigger than a meal. **Bottom line:** If you're looking for a breakfast spot that's reliably delicious and also has that comforting, "we've been here before" feeling, **Sylvia's in Antioch** is absolutely worth a return visit--even if it's been years like it was for us.
