    Frozen vodka lemonade
    Christopher V.

Pretty cool place. Margaritaville meets Michigan city. No outside bar, some sandy pits for the kiddos to play in and a lot of outdoor seating. We were fortunate enough to slide into two seats at the bar with no waiting! A lot of cool drink choices. Frozen lemonade vodka went down pretty well. They even offer a few fruit flavors as additions. Ordered the fried pickles and at first I thought they came out as green beans but no! Just really skinny pickle slices. Kinda nice and a lot less messy. Highly-Highly recommend the BBQ nachos! Fresh lightweight chips, nacho cheese sauce, tasty gold BBQ sauce and pepperchini rings instead of jalapeño rings gave it slight zing without the burn.

My mom and I decided to try this place after a day of shopping at the outlet mall. It's a cute little bar and grille. When we arrived, there was a short line, but no hostess in sight at first. We eventually saw her wiping down tables, so we understood the delay. There were three groups ahead of us, and she seated them before taking our name and number for the waitlist. While we waited with several other groups, a man walked in and was seated immediately. When we asked the hostess about it, she said he had been there earlier, even though he hadn't. Others around us were also confused, as we were all on the waitlist and watching the same interactions unfold. After we addressed the issue with her, we were seated shortly after. Once seated, our experience improved significantly. Our server, Heather, was amazing, friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. The food was good as well. However, while we were eating, I noticed some concerning behavior. A few people from the bar tried to get tables, and I saw the hostess tell them there was a waitlist. But when one man offered her cash, she told him they could sit wherever they wanted. She noticed me watching and quickly walked back inside. I found this behavior extremely unprofessional, especially considering how many people were still waiting for a table. Overall, the food was great and the service from our waitress was excellent, but the hostess could use some improvement. As a former hostess myself, I understand how stressful the job can be, but there's no excuse for rudeness or showing favoritism to guests who offer something extra.

    Crab cake dinner

The food was ok. Never saw fish cut in such small pieces outside of nuggets but the fish and fries were descent. The crab cakes were good but the Bridges house sauce was delicious. I enjoyed the house cut and sweet potato fries. The fall of the top shelf margarita that is suppose to have 5 shots of top shelf tequila is a LIE. It tasted more of bottles margarita mix than tequila and if its 5 shots, well that should be the headliner when drinking this margarita. The service was great and that's why im giving them 4 stars. Elizabeth was very personable and really attentive. Kudos to you Eliza for making our experience great. The ambiance is like an old school backyard party. It was cool being right on the water.

Always a great experience. They're open for the season now. Couldn't wait to have the Rum Job! Had something different today, the Italian beef. Pretty good. Bartenders are always engaging.

Impressed with the quality of the food (they even have vegan options!) and sitting along the river is picture perfect in the summer. Outdoor games for adults or kids and dog friendly too.

It took us 50 minutes to get our food and two other tables who arrived after us received their food first. My order was the crab cake dinner that arrived with just 3 small crab cakes and a potato salad, which shouldn't take 50 minutMy iced tea took 20 minutes to get brought to our table. I highly recommend ordering anywhere else than here.

The food was good. We don't have a complaint at all. Food was ready in a decent time, everything tasting well. The service was great, friendly staff, decently priced, except for the pie. $11 for piece of pie the size of my ridge wallet is a little nuts. But, oh well it was good. They don't have coke or Pepsi products, they use local pops or sodas for you fancy folk. Good atmosphere. Very very limited indoor seating as it's mostly an outdoor restaurant. Recommend to try!

One thing that really stood out to me was that the bathroom actually had hot water. You'd be surprised how many restaurants don't. The gentleman who took my order was friendly, helpful, and gave great recommendations. Great customer service can make a good meal even better. I ordered the chicken biryani, samosas, roti, and lamb saag, and everything was flavorful and well-prepared. Then the owner's son asked us to try a dish he created called **Butter Chicken Fries**. Let me tell you... those fries were absolutely delicious! The combination of crispy fries and rich, flavorful butter chicken was a winner. I would order them again in a heartbeat. This visit was takeout, but after this experience, I'll definitely be dining in next time. Between the cleanliness, friendly service, and amazing food, Samosa King earned a return visit from me. If you're looking for authentic Indian food with a few creative twists, I highly recommend giving Samosa King a try. You might just find your new favorite spot. *Don't leave without trying the Butter Chicken Fries!*

It was the first weekend after their off-season and the only people working were the husband-and-wife owners (she serves, he cooks). They handled our big group with such ease and kindness- it was seriously impressive. The service was wonderful, the food came out hot and fresh, and everyone in our group loved their meals. But I have to call out the biscuits and gravy... they were to die for. The biscuits were moist, clearly homemade, and the sausage gravy was hearty and perfectly spiced. I reheated my leftovers the next day and somehow they were just as good out of the microwave, which says everything about how well they're made. I live in Muskegon but will happily drive back to South Haven just for those biscuits and gravy. Creekside Kitchen is a gem, and I can't recommend it enough.
