Matt was our server. We arrived at 11 AM. Wasn't busy at all. My grilled chicken sandwich was absolutely disgusting!!!! My salad was very warm and wilted. My salad dressing was hot and my chicken looked like it was cooked 2 days prior. It was horrible!!! I ate there before 2 years ago. My parents hated the hotel room and the food. I thought there was no way it could be bad again??? The "manager" credited me my horrible salad. Not my disgusting meal.... Just my horrible salad!!!! Save your money and go anywhere in golden but here! Bloody Mary was good. The food is horrible!!!!!!! Fire the manager and hire a cook who can serve decent food!!! Oh, man, where do I start? It was a disaster. We were: two adults and one starving 5-year-old. We hoped for: delicious breakfast. We received: less than stellar lunch. Ok, for the breakfast vs. lunch complaint -- I am really just playing the world's smallest violin here. We were late for breakfast. Breakfast menu looked amazing, but... we were late. It was our fault. Being that we were already seated, we felt it would be rude to get up and leave, plus we were hungry, so we went ahead with the lunch options. I would say they were limited. Husband went with one of the burgers, I ordered burrata, and the child decided on tacos. Yes, my 5-year-old does not eat kids' menu stuff. Of course, we have to always make sure that her dish is not spicy. As we were ordering, we asked the waitress to confirm that the tacos were not spicy as it was for a 5-year-old. She went into the kitchen and confirmed that the tacos were not spicy but that Pico was, so we asked for Pico on the side. All good thus far. Here comes the food. As soon as the burger touched the table, the waitress said "oh, sorry, they put wrong cheese on it" and offered to take it in the back to... I am not kidding you... scrape off the cheese and put new one on. Um, no, thanks. Tacos and burrata... I don't even know how to say it... They were swimming in oil. I took a taco and it started dripping orange oil. I took a bite and it dripped down my chin and onto the plate. Not only tacos were oily, but they were spicy. Not overly spicy, and totally appropriate for an adult, but not for someone with, say, stomach ulcer... or a child (and we specifically said that it was going to be consumed by a child). Needless to say, after one bite she refused to eat tacos. I ttied a few bites and no longer wanted them because they were drenched in oil. Burrata: so much potential! Again, it was drenched in some unknown oil. It was not olive oil. It also was not named as an ingredient on the menu (for burrata or tacos). So, $50 later, the three of us snacked on half a taco, half a burger, some fries, and parts of burrata that were not drenched in an unknown oil. Oh yeah, the 5-year-old mowed down most of the pita meant for burrata, because she was starving. All in all, it was an epic disaster. It took 15 minutes to get a check. Two stars for great fries. Now I am in a car, typing up this review, listening to Love Brand New by Bob Moses and hoping for a better restaurant experience next time. read more

Attached to the Golden Hotel with lots of outdoor seating. Friendly staff; good, solid food. Had the salmon BLTA minus the bacon - they had no turkey bacon or other non pork bacon option. Hummus appetizer was incredibly delicious. Chicken burger was excellent. read more

It was a beautiful day in Golden, and sitting next to the creek with a beer in hand was the perfect way to end the day. Golden Hour is 3p-6p. I love the wait staff here and the food is always good. I seem to be on a bit of a salad kick here lately, so I opted for the RM Miners Salad with Beef Tenderloin. The greens were crisp and well green but the bacon and the tenderloin played a symphony of delight on my taste buds. I'm definitely a fan of BWG, even if it is a bit pricey... sitting by the creek, listening to the water roll by with the sun on my back is worth it. read more

Great location to sit next to the river, unfortunately that's the only nice thing about this restaurant. Server was very rude and seemed to be annoyed to be there, assistant general manager was incredibly rude as well while seating us. Fries came out soggy and cold and the burger was not worth the $20 price tag. Would not recommend. read more

Excellent lunch - miners salad (ie steak salad wit a few fries on top, innovative and all worked). Great location next to the river, off the main drag. Also enjoyed the crème brûlée for desert. Very relaxing, good and friendly service. read more

I've been to BG on a few occasions and have always been satisfied. However.... This last go round ordered a specialty cocktail with rye whiskey. A total failure. To sweet to salty. For dessert we ordered the pistachio cheesecake and it came out deconstructed. The flavors were good but if you mushed it all together it would've amounted to the third of a size of a normal piece of cheesecake. Total waste of $9. The good news is, the brussel sprouts and the butternut squash bisque were delicious. read more

I live in Golden and always thought this was a "tourist trap" but decided to go a few weeks ago for the first time. And it was amazing. Menu had a bit of everything to please a wide range of personalities. Gnocchi was incredible as well as the steak. Highly recommend especially if deck is open. read more

The dessert was dry and meh! Despite only a couple tables and a few staff members standing around, the service was slow and unattentive.

Makenzie was our server and the pace of lunch was absolutely perfect. Drinks came out within 4 minutes of ordering. Caesar salad (that came with entree) came out quick and was delicious! Fish & chips are worth the price. Beautiful patio with view if creek and overall great lunch. Will be back! read more

We loved the food and being able to sit out on the terrace while watching people tube down the river. The fish and chips is battered in colors beer which is a couple blocks away from the restaurant. I think I even smelled the beer being brewed while we were having our lunch. read more

I have come here a couple of times for lunch and been fairly satisfied with the food and service. The main thing I enjoy about this restaurant is sitting out on the patio on a sunny day and over looking the creek. Super location! The wait staff has always been very friendly but kind of slow to take orders and bring out drinks and food. The food here is solid but also kind of expensive. One of my favorite things on the menu is the steak salad. The meat is well cooked and tastes good with the blue cheese dressing. I also love the green chili! It has great flavor and a good amount of heat. Last time I was in for lunch I tried the ahi tuna tacos with peach salsa. I have to say that these weren't my favorite. The ahi was seared nicely but in my opinion there was something a little off about the flavors. read more

Stopped here on our drive from Boulder to Vail. The food and service were excellent. Great for kids - the kid menu will actually keep the kids busy (with an ISpy activity) and the kids meals were large and delicious, and a surprise chocolate ice cream at the end (included!) The mountain salad and bison burger were both really good. The outside patio has a cute view to the river and you see the rafters floating by. Great place! read more

Amazing improvement! We have always loved the gorgeous patio views of the river, trees and mountains but found the food mediocre at best. We had heard the food was much better, so we checked it out. It was so impressive! The Brussel sprouts with hazel nuts were a perfect balance of savory and tart... highly original and fresh. The butternut bisque was incredible. The depth of the flavors was perfection. Lastly the salmon BLT was fantastic. And the service was great as well. What a great evening! Highly recommend! read more

You must sit on the patio. We went during dusk and it was magical. Don't believe this restaurant's current low rating. The food & service was amazing. Our waitress' name was Breezy, and she was so accommodating and funny!! I ordered the pork green chili soup and the spring salad. The soup was the perfect amount of spicy and wholesome. The salad had mandarin oranges on it with a sesame dressing, and I decided to add salmon which went perfectly. My boyfriend ordered the tomato bisque and a Caesar salad. We also had the brussel sprouts as an appetizer, which went so well with the goat cheese and mandarin on top! To finish, we had the wild berry cobbler with coffee and tea. *chef's kiss* Amazing atmosphere, amazing food. We will return the next time we are in Denver! read more

This restaurant really sets the bar! They not only are very compliant with COVID-19 but their service js amazing! Tyler was our server and he was extremely attentive and kind! All the staff were quick to help and seemed to get along well with each other as well, creating a lovely atmosphere. With the gorgeous river and mountain view this place is already a must-go. The food was good overall BUT my poached eggs came out stacked one on top of the other in a small bowl of water - this is a very odd presentation and left me trying to figure out how to get them onto my plate without the water or breaking them all open. The coffee was awful! We saw 5-6 employees, only 2 were friendly. On the plus side: one of the two friendly servers/managers was our waitress. I love the atmosphere of Bridgewater. The outdoor space is amazing!!! The food is decent and the frozen drinks are bomb! I'm only giving it three stars because I feel it's over priced and the food quality isn't much different than most restaurants. I will admit, the buffalo wings ($14) were great! Today a friend and myself had an incredible lunch at the Bridgewater Grill at the Golden Hotel in Golden, CO. The food was excellent - I had the Lemon Chicken and my friend had the Bison Meatloaf. Both meals were outstanding. What also made our experience so delightful was the outstanding service by Tyler. Attentive, personable, efficient. If I went back I would request Tyler to be our server. This place is the PERFECT date night spot in Golden. Overlooking the water, you can eat on the patio and listen to the river. There is a bar out there too--we decided to sit at it. The bartender, Joey, was AWESOME--took such great care of us, even offering to sample a beer that he thought we would like (and we did) and made sure to pour it in a branded chalice so we could experience it the way it was meant to be. I have the Golden Burger and added bacon, Pete had the Prime Melt, and both were legit amazing. We will definitely go back. read more

This restaurant was absolutely fantastic! We had a couple of Coors Banquets, the trout dip, and the steak salads and it was all outrageously good. The steak was perfectly seasoned and super tender. The wait staff was very nice and the food was prepared fairly quickly, even though the view is a nice distraction from the wait anyway. Cottonwood was blowing around and the river was so gorgeous. Of course good friendly service and reasonable prices. The Bridgewater Grill delivered in every single area. It was the perfect spot to people watch as the stream and bike path is close by, with nice trees and nature. The patio is the place to be on a hot day. read more

Best salad ever. They called it a miners salad. It had steak, fries, eggs, bacon, marinated blue cheese, onions and tomatos. It was crazy. There was also leafy green stuff under all that. It made for nice filling. Seriously good salad. Ive never had a salad i could use ketchup with. But it totally worked. Atmosphere was good. Service was good. Would definitely come back. Hope to try the hotel next time i stay here. read more

It was a 20 minute wait for a table inside when the restaurant was practically empty. The food was great, not very hot, like it had sat out for a while (cooks don't put out cold food). Loved the green chilli! My husband ordered a chicken sandwich and received a burger. Had to be remade. Liza never checked to see how everything was. No drink refills. It was like pulling teeth to get desert/bill. We could have easily left without paying. She was MIA our entire trip. Went to the bar to get a refill after flagging her down and waiting and adequate amount of time. Her explanation was "well I've been taking care of that big table over there," but she hadn't even said hi to them, as the hostess had just come over to tell them she was delayed in the kitchen. I wasn't upset with her, until she lied to me. Finally, I ordered the baked Alaska which tasted nothing like a baked Alaska, and there was even ice cubes in it, wow!
