Day-yum this is a good bakery! First experience there result of waiting for my car to be washed around the corner (check out "Hand Car Wash Company" review). Cinnamon Rolls. The Cinnamon Rolls. Oh those dangerous, warm out of the oven Cinnamon Rolls. These are simply fantastic, loaded with something called Butter, and then infused with large quantities of actual cinnamon, not the scarce dusting found in competing offerings. The icing is spot on....did I mention 'butter' yet? Raisins if you want them, but as good as this example is of The Classic Cinnamon Roll, just go commando and leave them off. "Birdman" Bread......a close second to the above mentioned item. This is what the "Ezekiel 4:19" bread folks are trying to pull off but somehow miss. It's expertly done here, at this shop. My loaf was hot out of the oven and sliced / bagged on the spot. Wonderful assortment of whole grains throughout. On the counter, begging for application....a large brick of ...(you guessed it)....Butter! Is it possible? Slathered some on, melted into this fantastically perfect recipe of homemade bread, and it nearly rendered me unconscious.....("Over the top" you're thinking at this point....it's bread dude.) Wrong. These folks are true artisans of their craft and deserve a loyal following, if not national franchising. Simple things....expertly done...are truly the best. Don't tell anybody about this place.....it needs to be kept a secret.... read more

I stop in every other morning during school months. They have awesome bread, the cinnamon rolls are the best in my opinion. They are not too loaded with sugar like Cinnabon and they are not too dry. Coffee is extremely good for you coffee lovers. I don't see a place to sit and study but that's ok I take it to go. They also have sugarfree muffins and I believe it's Tuesday only... Not certain on the day. Try one they're not bad. read more

This is one of those places that is really REALLY good, but too much time seems to pass between visits. The bread and baked goods are always fresh. The staff is always friendly. Sandwiches are packed with amazing ingredients. This is a must visit to one of the two locations. I would make a recommendation on menu items, but EVERYTHING on the menu is great. read more

This bakery has been one of my favorites from a young age. I attended the drivers ed school next door and my friend and I would always stop by during our break to buy a loaf with some butter and share the snack with our class. I drive by this place all the time. I decided to give it a try this morning. We love Kolaches so we decided to go get some. We usually go to Shipley's or Daylight Donuts. Broadway is considerably more expensive than the other places (about a dollar higher per Kolache). I'm ok with the price if the quality is on par. Unfortunately for Broadway Bread it isn't. I will say that their Kolaches are bigger and that's usually a plus. They also put more meat inside (we got sausage and cheese and ham and cheese). The consistency of the bread is different. It's more soft and the bread is thick. It's more like eating a sandwich than eating a Kolache. The sausage inside was large so it was actually hard to bite through. It ended up squishing towards the end. I'm sure that some people love their Kolaches but they aren't my cup of tea. I'll stick with Shipley's in the future. read more

I've lived down the street for years and don't know why it's taken me so long to try it out! Was not disappointed at all, has great mom and pop small town sandwich shop vibe, such a refreshing atmosphere in the middle of the sea of corporate chains surrounding it. I ordered the turkey avocado sandwich on bird man bread and I don't know that I've ever had a better sandwich in my life. I asked them to add red onion for a little extra crunch, but it would have still been fine without it based on how crispy the bacon was. It was only $2.50 extra to make it a combo with a bag of chips, cookie, and drink. It would have been nice to have had a better chip selection, I had to choose between Fritos or Cheetos which was like a reverse Sophie's choice decision, because both sounded terrible. Would have gladly paid extra for some sun chips, zapps, or even apple chips. read more

The good: cupcakes were solid, really good. Well balanced buttercream. Light, fluffy, fresh cakes. Really nice. The rest- bland. Bland. Or just not good. There are some serious flavor issues here. Lemon poppy seed muffin wasn't bland but tasted too sharply of lemon extract. Not even natural lemon. It was just gross. No balance in the sweetness either. Blueberry scone- BLAND. Omg. It looked beautiful, the texture was perfect but then you bit in and chewed and tasted... Nothing. :/ serious anticlimax there. Cinnamon roll- nothing noteworthy, good or bad. Just wasn't that good. There selection isn't really that fantastic. Service is good. Coffee is reasonable. Prices-- nothing extraordinarily high but certainly not worth it. Won't be back. read more

Ridiculously fresh! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They mill their own wheat in store, which I thought was pretty cool. I highly recommend their honey whole wheat bread. It's so hard to find good whole wheat bread that is truly made from scratch and 100% whole wheat, and Broadway Daily does not disappoint when it comes to delivering such freshness. Blueberry scone 5 stars... Now I'm no expert on scones but this one was not too sweet despite the frosting on top, did not crumble from my hand to my mouth, and was like 2 bucks (forget exact price). Toddler son ate whole slice of sample honey wheat bread. And this was one if his I'm not eating want milk only days. I would not waste my time on the kolache (hence less one star); it was not terrible just not up to par as the other goods. Will return. read more

Coffee pots were empty and when I politely pointed this out, I was treated very rudely. They spoiled my day. Stay away.

They have the best white bread ever! Their scones are are my favorite...oh and their lemon ricotta cookies and their muffins both blueberry and sour cream walnut are delicious.
