I and my lady went to Brody's tonight, I have been craving beef ribs for months and was excited to get my mitts on them. Long story short, no beef ribs - no Dino ribs, No Tri-Tip, Needless to say, I was very disappointed when cashier informed me of this. How are you out of beef ribs on a Saturday early evening (arrived at 6:15pm) Went with the chicken wings both bbq and buffalo. My girls wings arrived exactly 40mins after ordering. Mine 15 mins after hers. This place is not cheap. we paid $72 total with15% tip. Waitress did not come by once to ask us how our meal was, or to refresh our drinks. Wings were just OK.. slightly overdone and dried out. Potato salad was bland and needed salt IMO. Waffle fries were crispy and tasty (not all bad I guess). I don't care about ambience If food is good and service on point. I was this close to asking for a mgr but decided that i wasn't going to spend any more time in the establishment than I had to The takeaway. Not going back..Ever! We came there with our family of 5 and we were surprise how amazing the food were. Everything was smoked perfectly and we shared a Dino rib, caesar salad and corn bread. It was enough to feed all of us. Has a very welcoming feel and we sat in the "backyard" where there were lots of seating. Omg this place is amazing!! They have only been open for 3 weeks but I hope they stay the way they are! Decided to come here to try it out after being recommended by a family friend. Normally my boyfriend and I love going to Tank House but this place is pretty special. Food 5/5: pork ribs literally falls off the bone, spices are just right! Waffle fries are literally the best, soft and have that crunchy outside but the only downfall is that for $6 I want a slightly larger portion. Loved the Mac n cheese, it's definitely on the spicer side so just a heads up! I think serving the pickle with a side salad is a nice touch and it's refreshing. Service 5/5: everyone was so nice and informative! They come and check up on you even though it's a self served place. The place is really clean, has a great family vibe. I hit up Brody's one evening while waiting for a wedding and reception to be done. I have at least 6 hours of downtime to waste. So I started with getting a bite to eat. I arrived and it was quiet. Figured out how the ordering and ordered The Levi burger. It's a smash burger type with soft buns and great veggies. But it was full of flavor, so I must've hit the cook on the right day. Bar with TVs on one side and Restaurant style on the other. I was quiet, and I got to watch the NBA semi finals in piece. Although I have been out in this area several times I had never seen this restaurant. I came here on the referral of someone at a nearby winery and I am mad at myself for not being here sooner. I ordered the tri tip sandwich and it came out looking like it had something to prove... and it absolutely did. Juicy, messy, and required at least 7 napkins, which is exactly how a sandwich like that should be. Just discovered Brody's Restaurant - great casual indoor/outdoor dining/bar 5 min from Greenhaven/Pocket area in Freeport. Several different dining areas all with their own casual relaxing personalities! Order at the counter and pick a table at the location of your choice! I personally like the patio with its grass and garden areas - very chill and relaxing - that is on the left side - perfect place for a nice party. There's also the indoor seating, and there's always the bar with its tv for sports fans. Another outdoor dining area on the right side has a giant Connect-4 type game and seating areas to relax and enjoy the outdoors - great for gatherings too. I like how it feels like you're away from town when you're only a few minutes from home! I've been there twice in the last week, and the food was awesome for lunch and dinner (waffle fries taste great with everything!) Now I need to go back for breakfast! read more

I'm sorry but there Tri-tip is NOT GOOD! They need to change the way they make it. Tri-tip is a type of meat that u BBQ and can't mess up but here they figured out a way to. Daughter and I went for late lunch craving brisket sandwiches. I placed our order with a very friendly greeter who told us they were out of brisket but only had enough for 2 sandwiches. Great! That's what we want, one with no cheese. He directed us to the cashier for us to place our order, one with no cheese. He said they were out of brisket and I informed there was enough for 2 sandwiches. "No cheese on one." Our food was brought by the same person, both with a visible curtain of cheese. I asked, "Is that cheese?" "Yes....oh, no cheese, I told them in the kitchen." "Okay, you can see all that cheese, right?" I was surprised he removed himself from the equation. He said he'll get another one made. We reminded him there's no more brisket. We swapped the top layers, problem solved. The sandwiches were small but stacked pretty high. Little flavor but that's my preference. Sadly I was tugging on my bites. We opened them again to find 50%, maybe more of fat ratio to meat. I do eat fat but it wasn't cooked long enough to render or soften it enough to bite through. I reasoned we got the last of the brisket but still. We didn't finish them and we always finish our food. Asked the same guy twice for our banana pudding. I went up to the counter for the 3rd request and saw that the crew had changed and a big line had formed. Maybe that's why we were there over an hour. By the time I paid I asked that the pudding be taken off. Sweet gal asked if there was anything wrong with it, I don't know, we never received it. Her service was perfect and genuine, she discounted our meal which we didn't request. So nice. I didn't want to write this review but feel there are some simple points to be made for improvement and they don't reflect on the establishment. Let the brisket cook longer, don't blame the cook receiving information, look at the plate before delivery to ensure your directions are followed, and check on your diners at shift change before jumping into the frey. My first night of Tri tip was very tough. The rest of it was pretty good but I doused it in sauce. I loved the spicy bbq sauce. I'm shocked by the beef ribs because you get two for $32.
