Amazing service and delicious brunch! Shout out to Brittany, who was an amazing server who makes you feel at home and comfortable. I shared the sweet trio and golden state benedict. The highlight of the meal was hands down the cinnamon pancake/donut that came in the sweet trio! If you don't like things too sweet, you can scrape off the icing and it's still soooo delicious! The benedict was also really good, and I appreciate that they didn't skimp on the avocado! My husband and I went for breakfast yesterday, and Brittany was our server. It was a really busy morning, and she got triple sat, and also had a large party of about 8. She was still on top of it, and did not seem flustered at all! She handled it like a champ with a smile on her face, and was still so friendly and attentive. Our server BRITTANY was so attentive for both times we went for breakfast with the kids. The food arrived quickly and tasty. I actually enjoy their regular black coffee, but there seasonal offerings such as Gingerbread pancakes or special Bloody Marys. The second time we went our food arrived with incorrect sides but quickly remedied. The front staff can be somewhat dismissive when the manager isn't present. I went up front to pay the bill and I was just standing by the register while 2-3 employees were nearby the check-in booth, completely informing me or avoiding eye contact. The restaurant is completely packed, I figured to pay and get out quickly. So I had to go back to my table and wait for the server to come back, ring up the card, then bring the receipt back for signing. read more

First time here and came this morning to celebrate my sister's birthday. Empty on a Sunday morning when we arrived. Plenty of parking and we were seated immediately. My sister and I had their iced white chocolate mocha (unlimited refills), so good!! I also ordered their mimosa flight. Pretty good. Had the Mom omelette. I got the home fries and biscuit with it. Home fries were delicious! The biscuit was a bit dry, so I don't recommend that. The omelette tasted as expected, but didn't stand out. Service was good and the wait wasn't too long on a Saturday morning. read more

On vacation. Looking for a good breakfast spot. Chose Broken Yolk Cafe after finding them on Yelp. When we arrived, we put our names in. We were told the wait was 45 mins. We were okay with that- figured it was a Sunday morning at around 10 am. We were finally seated at a table at 1130 am. Now, we are starving LOL and reason why I forgot to take a pic of our food. We ordered the hash skillet, churro french toast, and the chicken and waffle benedict. Food was delivered to our table around 45 mins later. The wait time overall was long and disappointing, but the food was delicious. The restaurant is large and full of people. It is noisy due to lots of staff and customers all around. Our server Vanessa was great. She is a wonderful server. Her presence and communication skills were fantastic. She knew the best words to say to keep us happy. She updated us when she needed to. Her timing was perfect. She never made excuses. Vanessa is a gem. If it wasn't for her, we would have been some unhappy customers. Food quality awesome. Vanessa---amazing.
