We ordered via UberEATS. My fiesta burrito is supposed to have shredded beef. I ate 1/4 of the burrito and it was all egg. My husband ordered steak & eggs, sunny side up with English muffins. He received scrambled eggs on the bottom of his sunny side up eggs and toast. We notified UberEATS and they said the order is not eligible for a refund and we needed to contact the store. Contacted the store and they said we needed to go through UberEATS. The manager on duty said she was in the back when they were packing up orders - she told them one of the steak and eggs had a different side but was unaware that they had put the right eggs on top of the wrong eggs. She said they were unusually busy today. We live 30mins away - she said she is unable to give us a refund but can make a new order, we'd have to go pick it up. I advised that we do not have time to pick up, which is why we used UberEATS. I was hoping to have a fast lunch/brunch with my husband before I had to leave for Temecula. She said she was sorry but she could not refund us - we would have to talk to UberEATS, which just tells us we need to talk to the store. My husband finally says he'll pick up, please have the order ready - she continues to say if we cannot go today, we can get a discount for another day IF we eat there. He again says he's on his way to pick up. She responds with "okay ma'am" and hangs up before he can tell her that he is not a ma'am. Provided really poor service for something that was THEIR mistake, with no real resolution, instead cause an inconvenience. They don't let you talk, they constantly interrupt with excuses. We will not be returning. We were really excited to try the rest of their menu at a later time, but this experience has left a bad taste in our mouths. read more

My first time visiting The Broken Yolk, and everything was going great until; the lady by the name Teresa yelled at Diane for giving misinformation... I understand how frustrating it can be working in a fast paced environment, however reprimanding your staff in front of customers is not ok. As we speak she is once again reprimanding Diane. In my opinion Teresa needs to go through management training, maybe a refresher will do. Overall the service and food were good. Teresa should calm down a bit before she blows a fuse! read more

Had an opportunity to go here today. We all had breakfast. First of all I want to say what great service James L. provided us. Took our order quickly, brought my grandsons kids meal first. Then ours came quickly after that. He checked up on us frequently and made sure glasses were full. Some of the best service I've received in a long time. Food was also really good and plentiful. I had the Fuego omelette. Really stuffed with ingredients and just the right amount of heat. Overall a great experience. I did like getting on the waiting list through Yelp. This is my favorite breakfast spot I've been coming here for almost 3 years. My go to's are the Nutella crepes with both strawberries and bananas and I make it into a combo which is eggs with and bacon . Or if I'm feeling something savory I go for the Good Morning burger or even the Wild West burger. They are both very good! I have also tried the Mom Omelette, which is very good, it does not come with any kind of meat. So it's vegetarian. I however would like it with some kind of meat so maybe I would order a side of bacon or maybe ask for bacon inside the omelette already. (I have not asked for bacon to be put inside just yet, but I don't think it would be an issue. Just an extra charge is all.) The service is always good! If you get coffee, the servers are always sure to ask you if you would like a refill. Refills are free only for coffees and I believe for a few more beverages? It specifies on the menu for you. The chicken fried steak rivaled grandmas. Fresh goodness not like a frozen patty you find at most places. Service was attentive and prompt without hovering. Food was really good. They have so many options so it's hard to choose. I got the sweet trio, cause I like variety for the first time. So good. My guests got the tiki French toast, sweet, but not too sweet. Very good without syrup. My other guest got the fiesta burrito, huge and good texture. The avocado in top was a nice touch. September 23, 2024, my wife and I took our friend to her Dr directly behind Broken Yolk. We were going to take her to Broken Yolk after her appointment. She beat us there and was seated close to the front of the restaurant by Thomas. After we walked in (9-9:30), we were standing by her table greeting her and deciding where we would like to sit. Thomas said he would seat us shortly. Thanks! No problem. Tarissa Fiorillo, the manager, came by. I started to explain why we were in the middle of the aisle and that Thomas said he would seat us. She cut me off and, in a rather loud voice, said "Oh, Thomas hasn't seated you yet? Come on. I will seat you." Raising her voice so other patrons could hear, she continued, "I have 5,000 things to do, but I will take you to your table." She turned toward my wife and said, "You are brave, aren't you?" Then she said something to the effect, "You are so brave." My wife was very embarrassed. We have not been back at all. My wife refuses to return. We were 'regular' customers of the establishment. We frequented Broken Yolk weekly, usually two times or more. We have even lost our 'points' because we have not been back. Why did I wait so long to post this review? At first, my wife continually said she did not want to complain. She finally changed her mind. Believe me, the details of the incident were not lost due to time.
