I'm reluctant to give this place a star, but I had to, and it's for the food. Service needs major improvement! We were seated next to the kitchen area, so the staff were constantly passing our table, which was fine. However, the food took a very long time to come out. We understand it's a busy Saturday morning, but we only got our coffee refilled with no other communication. No one said, "Thanks for waiting, your food is almost ready," or "Would you like some water too?" The major issue was that the table behind us, which got seated after us, received their food before us. This left us feeling disappointed. While the food was good, the service was severely lacking. No one checked in on how the food was, offered napkins or water, or even acknowledged us when we presented our credit cards for payment. Several employees walked by our table without offering a box for the muffin or the check. Only the busboy came by to pick up the plates. This wasn't just poor service; it felt like no service at all. I've never experienced anything like this. It felt almost like they didn't care about our table. The high-mile omelet and the matcha latte were good though. read more

So beyond disappointed with the food. I have been coming here for years and the Border Benedict was my favorite menu item. Imagine my surprise when I go to order and my food comes out within five minutes and the hottest thing was the plate. Everything was cold, including the home fries although they remade it they still couldn't get it warm because everything was prepped and already cooked and just thrown together upon ordering. The corn cake was cold and dried out and the carnes asada was scarce and fatty and even the poached egg was cold to the touch. The heat must have come from a lamp or microwave because the poblano cream sauce was separated. I will not be coming back which makes me very sad but the changes to save time or cut back have unfortunately hurt them. I would like to say first this rating has no bearing over my server as she was wonderful and great and we tipped her still so thank you to my server! I am giving two stars because the buttermilk pancakes were good and fresh and my granddaughter loved her cheeseburger meal! My daughter and I ordered the ice mocha first I must say the coffee was horrible once we stirred it until all the chocolate syrup was mixed in and the whip cream all it tasted like was a generic version of chocolate milk sadly. I ordered the croissant sandwich and the bottom croissant was soggy and when I bit into it seemed a bit salty sadly. My hash browns were ok could've used some seasoning and my daughter's chilaquiles were soggy, bland and mozzarella instead of queso fresco very weird and wrong. The salsa in the chilaquiles seemed watery and unfortunately the cinnapancakes were just too sweet and I sent them back. I gave them a two bcuz our server she was great and my granddaughter enjoyed her kids meal and well the buttermilk pancakes were not better than McDonald's tbh. I'm sure this place is great for kids and those who don't really care for seasoning and flavor or even authenticity but it was really a miss for me and my daughter really tried to find a bright side in our meals when there none apparent. The mimosas and the spicy vegan breakfast bowl is what I ordered. Man, let me tell you that this is too much food for one person. The sheer amount is just ridiculous. That's not my complaint though. I had two issues with this joint over all. One they can't help and the other they can. Parking here is awful. Like dreadful awful. There are signs everywhere saying no broken yolk parking to give you an idea of the overflow they have. The second, I ordered a grilled cheese for my son and it came out a bit anemic. Our food was spot on but the grilled cheese didn't have the same care. There are multiple vegan options which is nice and over all the experience was good. I'd come back for the mimosas alone but the food is good too! Huge props for hosting vegan options. I picked up the California breakfast burrito. Super happy with the burrito itself good size eggs are nice and fluffy bacon was crispy. They had a salsa that was a little bit more pico de gallo than it was salsa. That would be my only piece is it needed a little something extra like a good salsa, maybe they have that inside and we didn't get it since we were doing a grab and go. We did avocado toast which comes with some eggs over easy on top of them. Even after a short trip home the egg still broke open nice and runny which is excellent bread was nice and thick. My only piece would be getting just a little bit of extra salt on those. My wife picked up a chorizo breakfast bowl. Which was spicy! Tons of jalapeños and so much so she had to break up eating it over a couple of different meals. Overall worth it there's a few other things I'd love to try on the menu. If I could give this place a negative 5 star I would. First time here, food took 30+ min after ordering and they were not busy at all. Our server was incognito (Brianna) most of the time we were there. She came to fill coffee for decaf only after 15 min and never came back to refill regular coffee. The coffee was also luke warm. She also did not even try to apologies for the delay. We got our food cold and asked to pack it to leave. The purpose of going out to late breakfast is to enjoy yourself and relax with good food.
