I'm going to give it up to this spot based on 2 employees. Cook and bartender. Walked in later than most on a Monday night and they didn't shut us out. More than I can say for the lazy staff at the big box up the street. Had 2 delicious burgers made with experience and care and also got a taste of local culture. Bartender was happy to share knowledge of ciders and our glasses were well looked after. He was also happy to oblige our MLB playoff request and switched from NFL. Thanks boys and Go Cubs. read more

This bar is about halfway between the Dells/Delton area and Ho-Chunk Casino. The clientele is 40% tourist and 60% locals which makes it a nice change from the typical tourist attractions. They have cheap drinks and the place is well kept. The service is decent and they have a good amount of space here. They also have karaoke on Saturday nights. They do serve food but I have never tried it here before but everything I have seen people eat looked pretty good. read more

Stopped in for some food and a Bloody Mary. Staff was super friendly and food was really good! Had the chicken bites and tots. Chicken was crispy and the sauce was very tasty! Tots were so crispy and delicious. Will definitely stop and eat again!! read more

Located up the road from the Ho Chunk casino we stopped here for some food after some gambling. What a mistake. Upon entering the whole bar turned to look at us. I look funny sure Ill give them that but funny thing is I had to wait at the bar for 15 minutes before being served cause the bartender was doing everything possible to clearly avoid me. Probably should've left after waiting but I decided to stay telling myself i was over reacting. Sat at a table and ordered before others in our area had. But was served our food dead last and over an hour later for one burger and a shrimp fry that contained 4 shrimp. All the food had visible grease on it i.e the fries, haystack onion rings which were a joke, and my four greasy shrimps. I know its fried in grease but this was disgusting. Only thing that did happen quickly was them taking my bill and running my card. Place sucks they need more and better trained staff. I will never return. read more

With the highway bypass this is now more of a "locals" place. But that is what we love about it! No demanding city folk tourists or crying children here. Great selection of bottled craft beer. The Friday deep fried cod is fantastic - generous white flaky cod filet in a tasty deep fried batter. Big TVs to watch a game or hangout and listen to country music. Big outdoor patio. Bloody Mary bar on Saturday and Sunday. We will be back! read more

Went into The bar at 6:30 on a Saturday night a few locals were there, but no one would wait on us. No service. Don't go!

This saloon in the middle of this low populated area in Wisconsin attracted my party to come here. I mean, these kinds of places are more popular in the South so this was a win for us. They have a huge parking lot so there's plenty of parking available. At first when I walked in I was expecting country music to play but there was pop and rap music playing. There's a jukebox for people to pay and choose what songs to play so makes sense why that happened. Eventually country music played. Their menu has a great choice of burgers, sandwiches and more. I ordered the Sassy burger which is two meat patties with their home style bbq sauce with lettuce tomato etc in between two slices of texas toast. Real yummy. The rest of my party ordered other sandwiches and burgers. The service was quick, fast and friendly. The owner of the business came by to clean off our table and to ask how service was. He even got excited when I started playing some hard rock, which I thought is cool. He was very friendly and just overall awesome. The waiter was very cool too, recommened a few things and was patient with us which I like it when staff is patient. Their beer and drink selection is huge. They have fridges there like a liquor store and you can pick and choose what you want to drink. I had their Leinenkugels summer shandy on tap which was good. They carry craft and local brews as well. And if you choose not to drink of course there are soft drinks too. What I enjoyed about this place is that it's more of a local place and the town is small so it's a friendly area. This area in Wisconsin seems to be really great to live in, very low key and calm and chill. If you're ever near this area, stop by Bronco Billy's Saloon. It's a very modern restaurant with a classic feel to it. read more

Food was good. Service not so much. If you're not a local and it's a weekday. Don't count on efficient service. We seated ourselves and wAtied ten minutes for the waitress that was no where to be seen. Mind you it was not busy, AT ALL! She finally came, without a smile and only checked in us once (from a distance) ..... Ate here for the first time today. Highly recommend the Rodeo Burger! Cheese curds, ranch, and bacon on a burger. Do not know why I was at first skeptical about the trio but I'm glad I ordered it. Outstanding!!! Great beer selection too. read more

I think the waitstaff there is AWSOME! The food is AWSOME! The crowd is great, and the drinks are too....! lol... However.... there is a Karaokee DJ there that has to go!! He took over his uncles bussiness (his uncle was the best around) and doesn't play fair. If he doesnt like you, know you, or you dont kiss his @$$ he will not play your turn to sing. A group of 9 of us went there for drinks after a wedding and we all had songs in, there was a couple of guys that walked in about 30 minutes after us after picking through the book they got up there to sing no more than 10 minutes after first getting there! We asked him where our turn was and he said "it's coming up" (well we never did get to sing and we were there another hour after that) What a joke I think if they get a new DJ My friends and I would return, till then forget it! read more

Great place to eat. It isn't the cleanest place you will find but the service and quality of the food make up for it. I had the Philly Cheesesteak with fries and it was wonderful. The fries were piping hot and perfect. My wife had the Chicken Parmesan which she said was excellent. We were here in the afternoon during a slower time so our waitress was also the bartender and she was friendly and very efficient. We will definitely come back here again and I look forward to trying the Bloody Mary Bar some time. read more

Been coming here for the past 4 years, love the food & service

Went there today for Father's Day lunch. Red headed bartender was so unpleasant I did not even want to be there. I watched her walk around the bar and act the same to many other customers and heard a few complains among chatter on how she is always extremely rude. She was very pushy on leaving a tip and I felt she did not even deserve one! I truly hope the manager notices the clientele she is loosing because of her. Everything else besides our horrible bartender was fantastic. Tommy was the other bartender and he was friendly and inviting as well as the cook! Have been there many times before and loved the food but the atmosphere is awful with the bartender they had on staff today. I will not be going back if she is working the bar.
