My boss ordered everyone lunch from here one day. I got a Bronx Club sandwich. Omg! It was seriously the best sub I ever had. It had a really good flavor. It wasn't dry. The baguette it was on was soft on the inside and toasty on the outside. And the sandwich was huge! I only ate half and saved the rest. Came in for lunch with some friends. A very cool ambience in the sandwich shop. The staff was pleasant. I ordered the Bronx Club and order of seasoned fries and some Voodoo chips. My sandwich was piled high with turkey and all the fixings, except not a whole lot of bacon. The fries were also a hit perfectly crunchy however the ranch was pretty disgusting. They definitely do not make their own ranch. My Husband for the Philly Cheese and I would say his sandwich was the best of the bunch. Cant believe that I've visited the shopping center Bronx is located in dozens of times and never noticed this place until a few weeks ago. The chicken and Philly cheese steak sandwiches on french baguette are mouth watering!... I also tried the Philly cheese fries and honestly, I think they are one of the best in the OC for sure! They don't hold back on the steak and the times Ive been there, it is cooked to perfection. Many places add a lot of meat but most of the time it lacks quality or they have to add all kinds of sauces to give the meat/ fries some flavor. Not with Bronx... Also, the inside of the restaurant is very clean, their menu is super easy to figure out and the staff has been very friendly and helpful each time. Good quality sandwiches with amazing bread. Hubby got the pastrami (West Coast I think) and I got the Philly Cheese. I didn't taste it, but the Pastrami had nice thick cuts of meat. The Philly was delicious! Piping hot. Maybe a little too much though because I really felt like I burned my mouth. But that was probably my fault for not letting it cool down. Lol. Got the east coast pastrami sandwich and side order of fries. The food: the pastrami is thick and very delicious but I prefer the thinly sliced style that melts in your mouth! Plus a pickle would've gone nice with it. The fries were hot and perfectly cooked. The service: the girl working the front greeted me immediately and answered my questions. I'm a changed woman. My boyfriend and I recently moved walking distance from this place. When he first pointed it out I shrugged it off, for a sandwich shop is typically just a sandwich shop to me. With so many food options in the area this was last on my list to try. But this fateful evening my boyfriend, his parents, and myself were looking to grab a quick bite before they went to the Angel's game. His mom suggested we try this sammich shop and I am ohh so glad we did. We started with an order of cheese steak fries which were darn fresh and tasty. Then our sandwiches came. We had ordered the Sloppy Bronx and the Bronx Club to split and they were amazing. Tucked inside a fresh crunchy-soft baguette were generous helpings of tender meat and flavorful cheeses, creating a glorious symphony of flavor I will not soon forget. Especially since I have leftovers in my fridge that probably won't last through the night. During our meal the super friendly manager on duty checked on how our experience was going and gave us a free tray of Italian pasta salad! Again, tasty and fresh. Just when we were certain we couldnt fit another bite and had our leftovers packed, he came back with two squares of coffee cake for us, on the house! Between the four of us we somehow managed to devour all of the delicious cake. I've learned a valuable lesson today. Order the new York and it as good. They got great buttery baguettes that are hot and fresh. The bread was delicious and the quality of meat was great. Definately a premium sandwich. Half will get me full. I also had the pastrami fries. It was very good but I suggest you share with 2 or more since the sandwich itself is going to be big. This may have been the best Shrimp Po Boy I've ever had. I've been to New Orleans many times, and occasionally hit up a Creole and Soul Food joint in Norcal or Socal, but this takes the cake. Bronx club is my happy place and while they have sides, if you go that route bring an appetite. The service is impeccable and everyone there is quite friendly. My favorite sandwich shop for sure. The number 2 sloppy Bronx is amazing- tender, flavorful, and packed with amazing taste. I am so disappointed in this place. I called to place an order for pick up for the boss sandwich and the Bronx. The reviews looked great so wanted to try it out. I called at 1:30 pm and they informed me the sandwiches will be ready between 10-15 minutes. PERFECT sine I had work shortly after. I went to pick them up and paid right away and was told it would be ready shortly. 40... YES 40 minutes later I got my sandwiches. Me and my wife wanted to get some sandwiches after being at Disneyland. We looked up a few places and flipped a coin and the bronx did not disappoint. She ordered the spicy fried chicken and I ordered the hit man. They started getting busy as soon as we ordered so we had perfect timing. Walking in, you can smell the sandwiches being made so it was amazing to walk into. Ordering was great because they ask what kind of bread you would like and when I ordered, I asked for his suggestion and he said the French baguette would be perfect. The wait for the sandwiches wasn't bad and they also have tvs set up showing what all there sandwiches look like and man, they all look good. My first time there earlier this week. Got there just before the lunch rush and asked the cashier for her recommendation between the east and west coast pastrami. She suggested the west coast minus tomatoes. It took FOREVER to get my sandwich. Someone in my party that came in after me got his sandwich before me as well as the two people in line that ordered after me. However, once it arrived, it was delicious!
