Highly disappointed! We ate lunch and had the Cuban Mix it was not super flavorful and Aye Conyo it was a great sandwich then went back for breakfast.... I am disappointed in getting food in a wrap as if it was a fast food restaurant. It was okay but not nearly as good as it sounded. Then we ran the pack burro race at Boom Days and before the start two of us needed to use the washroom and they didn't let us. Two employees says "no" and turned around. A small town restaurant that doesn't support an importan local event does not deserve my business. All other businesses in town are friendlier. The bar across the street is seedy but kind. I've been here twice in this preBoomTown Days July and it is wonderful. The menu is very small and dishes are definitely not the ordinary. I had ordered an avocado salad that I had asked to modify by adding lettuce. When it came I judged the lettuce as a small plate size and quickly peaked under the lettuce. A beautiful and thinly sliced avocado greeted me with some fresh herbs on it. One look and I loved it and one tasting with the home made herb vinaigrette and I can see myself asking for directions on how to make this dish. 5 stars for this dish. Only reason for not giving 5 star review is that they are wonderful, innovative and new and they are working together so beautifully to get the kinks out. Beautiful outdoor space for eating. But make sure you take a walk inside the two dining rooms to savor the artwork and the cooking smells! read more

I paid $20 for a sandwich in Leadville, CO. I ordered an Aye Conyo (Cuban roast pork, ham, pepperoni, turkey, swiss, mustard, key lime mayo, onions, pickles, jalapeños) and asked for lettuce and tomato to be added (they had a little note at the bottom saying it could be added but it didn't say anything about an extra charge) and then got a large iced Cafe Con Leche (which was bomb and kept me wired for hours). Due to covid they also verbally ask what tip you want to give and start with 15% so you're kinda stuck giving them a minimum of 15% (which I don't mind since it's covid and the workers deserve it but it's not a great way to go about it as you're verbally put on the spot in front of a bunch of people). Since it's covid you don't really get to see what happens at the point of sale and the total ended up being $27.58. We had woken up at 4am and just finished an 8 hour hike so I was too tired to ask why it was so much but I checked the virtual receipt the next day and low an behold they charge an extra $1.50 to add tomato and $1.00 to add lettuce to a sandwich that's already $15.50. I'm pretty sure I can buy a whole tomato and a head of lettuce for less than $2.50. Add in tax and that's a $20 sandwich then add the coffee & tip and PRESTO!: coffee & a sandwich at Buchi will cost you nearly $30 in LEADVILLE COLORADO. I just moved back to Colorado after a decade of this high price BS in California and am already looking at spots in Montana. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THIS WORLD??? 3 stars because the sandwich was good and the coffee was great. -2 stars for the price. read more

Cute spot for a quick breakfast while driving back from camping. Egg, cheese, and chorizo sandwiches were tasty after eating camp meals all weekend, but at $9 each feels a little pricey for quality of ingredients you get. The coffees were also ok but fairly average and small for $6 each. Overall cute and tasty place to stop, and will do so again when we're not being value conscious. read more

Very limited menu of expresso and latte coffee. Asked for regular coffee and was looked at like I was speaking another language. Only 1 bean type available. All the drinks are sweetened with sugar. Can request unsweetened. Had a latte (can't recall the name they gave it) but it was basically an expresso with milk. Small was $4.50 and a very weak ice tea $2.50. Breakfast items, mostly sandwiches, looked good. The salads sounded awful - avocado and onion? Iceberg lettuce? Come on... Service was ok. read more

Wonderful food! Got the Aye Canyo, and it was amazing, with savory meats and a great flavor balance with the pickles and mustard. Bread is delicious as well. The Cafe con Leche is very high quality coffee, and the hot apple cider is a nice treat too. Quick service, plenty of seating. Ive been eying this place as we drive through Leadville..often....and finally got a chance to stop and try it out.....totally worth it!! We noticed they had little greenhouses for private outdoor dining and it was perfect. It was a sunny November day.....about 50 degrees out door temp. We found the greenhouse to be perfect. The temps inside actually rose to 70!! We were toasty and totally comfortable. They even had a little thermometer so you knew! Now onto to the food. We each ordered Cuban sandwiches...mine was pork with carmelized onions and i asked for a side of chimichurri sauce...my husband had a standard Cuban style. We both loved them. We also had some yummy plantains for an appetizer. I was so tempted for a mojito....we'll save that for next time. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I mentioned i had a dairy allergy and they were so helpful to assure I didn't get any. I cant wait to return and try some other things...and especially that MOJITO!! read more

We went to the one In Leadville that was a great little place to hang out. Met the owner and had a great conversation. Being from Miami we were very pleased that the coffee items were very close to what you would get in SoFlo. Upon returning to Denver, we went to this location and found the coffee selection equal. Needed a quick bite in Leadville and landed at the Cubano. Their sandwiches hit the spot! Yummy food! Their lattes were great and the service was friendly and prompt. We will be back! (Note: we planned to hit the coffee shop for quicker service but it was slammed as always so I left my friends walked to the Cubano, ordered, received my sandwiches and lattes and finished eating in the same amount of time it took others to get to the front of the coffee line.) read more
