Went in the first time, got a quote, scheduled for the next day, typically when you do that you're on the rack first thing that day, that wasn't the case SO, made another appointment to come back the next morning. Same thing happened, so I will go elsewhere, I was already warned by someone not to go to any Bucky's anywhere, I didn't take their advice, had I, I wouldn't had wasted about 2 hours out of my Two days AND, $600 to do a hour job. I went to Lynnwood Bucky's for the first time, previous shop said it was not the bulb (for headlight) and there was more needing to be repaired with electrical system. Bucky's took a look and discovered it was light bulb not fully installed and corrected the issue within minutes AND best of all - NO CHARGE!!! So nice to find this kind of service. I will not recommend this place at all ! I took my truck to get the muffler redone and the guy in the desk didn't even wanted to come outside to see what I need it for the truck I ask him if they could change the pipe tubes from 2 1/2 inch to 3 inch and he said that they will and it didn't happened they did a good job changing the muffler but the pipe tubes were the same as I had because pipe tube was to big to be bent he said anyway they use the old hangers, they charged me almost $700 dlls for changing all the pipe tubes for thicker tubing and different muffler with black pipe ends that just they sprayed painted with very cheap pain from Home Depot that in 6 weeks was chipping off Came back to get the work done better but the same older guy in the desk didn't even bother to come out side to see their poor job they did so I decided to take the truck to a professional shop in Bellevue I hope they improve their customer service and hire real welders read more

Not only did they get us in sooner than anyone else could, but they had a certified Dodge mechanic on-site who was incredibly knowledgeable. Every single person we spoke with gave excellent customer service and they gave us updates along the way. We now go out of our way to do all of our oil changes here and any future work too. I was driving my car one night after a long day when all the sudden it started losing power and screaming. I barely got it home but knew I couldn't continue to drive it. For the next few days I called mechanics in the area for quotes and to see if they could look at it. I have to stay close to my home since I knew it probably wasn't going to drive far without having to be towed. Which turned out to be a great thing because Buckey's is down the road from me. They said they'd look at it no charge and see what was wrong. Had to drop it off right before they closed but they were fine with that. Called me the next day and let me know the problem and gave me a quote. I was even able to apply for financing options while I was at work and give them the ok to proceed. We asked them to work on a turn signal problem we we're having on our vehicle recently and they ended up making the interior electronic display of our vehicle non functional which included our back up camera not to mention one of the dials in our vehicle was not put back properly. The blinker and dial we're fixed however they spent 3 hours unsucessfully attempting to repair the interior display with no reimbursement. Absolutely horrible. read more

This place sucks. I DROVE in to have some parts installed after the parts were installed the rig wouldnt idle. After the owner said he knew exactly what the problem was. I went ahead and ask him to replace the part, 1 month later he said they sent him the wrong part 3 times. They only make 2 different model 1f and 2f not sure how he got 3 wrong part. Pissed off I went and had AAA tow the vehicle out of there. Come home and fuel was leaking out of the side of the engine on to the header. Very courteous and generous with their time in the past. On 2 occasions I've needed help with a tight bolt and they helped me. Unfortunately, they recently worked on my friend's BMW Door Actuator upon my referral. The same door handle was jammed and broken 2 pulls after the replacement. They blamed my friend for pulling the door handle too hard(??), and charged her $200 (including a disposal fee?) for a repair of what was obviously Bucky's mistake. I was very disappointed as I had vouched for Bucky's and they took advantage of a friend on a very limited income. read more

I see why the rating are so low. Stoped by here to see if I could get a reducer or have one made. General man at the front desk seemed like He had better things to do than to represent the brand and help a customer. He was on his computer the whole time. Asked if they sold reducers and he proceeded to tell me he doesn't sell it but can make it. Should be a difference there if you can make it you can sell it. Asked him how much and with the worst attitude in the world he muttered $15. Awesome and how long would that take? He proceeded to tell me an hour. Keep in mind he was still on the computer looking at what ever he is looking at. This whole time he just had a horrible attitude and gave me (the customer) the worst experience. I went down the street to a competitor which won't be named but provided the best service compared to you guys. I asked them the same question to start and they instantly said yes of course we sell those. "What size are we needing today?" Was their response. Guy wrote the size down and without skipping a heart beat went out to the busy shop and knocked out two for me and was back in the showroom within 10 minutes. I asked him how much he said it was on the house he just used a few scraps he had laying around that was going into the trash anyways. I never told him about my experience with Bucky's until the end. I gave him a $5 and said thank you and then let him know the story of my experience from Bucky's. It doesn't take much to have great customer experience. It's part of your role in this industry. If you are having a hard time at work maybe you need to take some time off. Or if you hate your job maybe you need to find something different. But to the gentlemen who was disgruntle and obviously hate and is not good at what he is doing is a bad egg. It's unfortunate that the one egg spoils the bunch. If this guy is a manager I feel bad for the staff and that store as he should be the one setting a good example. Couldn't imagine his training if that is how he treats customers. I my self will never stop by any of the chains again due to this experience and I'm sure to spread the word. Not like I need to and I should have checked the reviews before I stopped by. These guys suck so bad. I had screeching brakes, I called talked to Tim - He sz that they cant diagnose over the phone (what the H3LL). Anyway, they diagnose and test for free. So this was my time line there: @ 345pm - Tim asked a few questions, got me checked in. @358pm - Brandon test drove the car @408pm - Car was on a rack @427pm - Tim told me pads need to be replace - rotor was a worn in a odd way. if I wanted to replace I would out @600pm @520pm - Brandon test drove the car and it was good ... This place is awesome. Tim and Brandon were customer service orientated as the rest of the staff. I was looking for an auto mechanic to replace the one I had been going to for 15 years - these guys are it. While waiting for them to finish my car, I spoke to several customers. Joey/Mgr did our family a real solid. Since the covid recession our area has been hit by random catalytic converter thefts. In our case, on an old car, they apparently ran off after cutting one side of the pipe, leaving the CC, or the older car would have been a total loss due to value. Joey racked it at a busy shop within seconds (I counted nine+ racks!) and had an experienced tech weld it immediately. Showing huge empathy and neighborhood spirit, Joey said we had a bad enough day and no charge. Amazing. Our family really needed this break due to the times and we thank him and his Bucky's shop. Bait and Switch "I haven't seen you in a while. can fix that exhaust leak for $150". "Ok thanks" "We got it all done. $294" "Wait, that's just about double what you said! And the exhaust still leaks!" "I said I'd keep it as cheap as possible. I don't remember saying $150. If you want it done right, it will cost $1500." "That's why you haven't seen me in a while." The time before I was here, I made the mistake of having them replace some front end steering and suspension parts. The price kept going up "we didn't know that part was bad also". The steering was too tight, the alignment was off, then they fixed it but the steering was loose again and almost no difference from before the $2000. I get it, sometimes a job costs more. But use the phone and ask for authorization. Don't just double the price and then get mad at the customer. Do yourself a favor and go to Jeff's Auto Repair, ask for Brian. Tell him I sent ya. The only reason I came here is because Jeff's does everything but welding. These guys said they could weld it until it was done and they said they could not weld. read more

I went to Bucky's in Lynnwood had a hole in radiator. Drove up and they took my vehicle put on rack immediately. Removed and replaced my damaged radiator, $550.00 for 2006 corvette in two hours . I was pleased with there service. While I was there I talked with the boss at the counter and had questions and he had great answers. He also helped me verify the correct custom KOOKS Cat back X pipe to purchase and when I received the purchase. The mechanics installed it and tips out the back where perfectly and even . There work was outstanding. I am a air craft inspector. And there work was amazing perfect no defects. Thank you Buckey's for helping me find my passion to learn and work on cars! Since my last review I have never been to another shop and actually made half of my garage into my own personal garage and developed a hobby/skill to work on cars. I pretty much rebuilt the whole engine on my 06 Nissan Frontier drove it to Las Vegas and back startin with 234,000 miles and made it back with 240,000 without any breakdowns and even sold that truck for 10,000 to buy a 2013 BMW so I can teach myself how to work on German engines. It's crazy how simple automotive jobs are with the resources we have these days and how much anyone can save just by having the willingness to learn or even just read their cars owner's manuel since every maintenance procedure is in it step by step with fluid type specifications that can be bought from any auto supply store. Plus YouTube offers great visuals to learn how to do these simple jobs that most shops charge $90+ per hour for jobs that they don't even know how to or simply not do! read more

I want a refund, worst place I have ever taken my car to. I went in wanting to replace a vacuum pump. Ended up paying over 700 dollars, come to find out they replaced the pump but didn't check to see if there was power to it. So needless to say I still have to get my car fixed. They replaced a coil and spark plugs, completely over priced. I went back to them three times because my check engine light was on still. They started to get irritated with me. Do your job right the first time and this wouldn't be a problem. They won't refund my money. Honesty I think I should get a refund. read more

I now understand why this place charges so little for an oil change -___- So we went there with a $2 coupon and our own Mobil 1 Synthetic oil to use. We told the guy we wanted to use our own oil and he said yup and asked where it was...we told him the back seat and he wrote it down on the paper. We left for 30minutes and came back and sure enough, our truck oil was changed.... problem? They didn't bother using the oil we told them to use...and not that $2 matter..but they didn't discount it either. When we went to tell the guy about how they didn't use the oil we requested...he said "oh...lemme fix that" so that we'd have to wait another 30+minutes...and although it said no where on the receipt, he claimed that out of his generosity, he did top off everything in the car...... I'm finding this a bit shady?...anyone?? I agree with the previous guy. Bucky's are simply the worst. A bunch of thieves. They put the wrong brake pad on my car. Then when the pads "glazed" and squeeled, they claimed this was my fault.
