Cute hidden coffee shop but nothing stands out to me tbh! They have a lot of competition nearby that offers better drinks & bigger work spaces. Since it's located in a business complex, most of their customers are from nearby businesses it seems. I ordered the palo santo, which was too salty & came in a 12 oz cup or smaller?? I guess I can't expect much given the price but not sure if I'd choose to come here when there's lion & lamb coffee down the street. Also very few tables indoors & the outdoor seating isn't covered/has no shade.

Buenas has great coffee and drinks. Beautiful and relaxing environment. If you need a gift they have beautiful dried floral bouquets, candles, coffee, honey, ceramic, etc. If you like nature, outside they have a beautiful area with trees and plants; you can sit outside and enjoy your coffee and read a book.

Best strawberry matcha ever! Service was so friendly and fast. The center it's in is super cute, the outdoor seating is next to a nice jasmine covered structure - great spot for a cute coffee date. They had lots of fun pastry options but we went with the burrito & cheddar + chorizo biscuit both delicious. I can't wait to come back to try their horchata and other pastries!

    Mocha. Oh so yummy.

Buenas Coffee has mastered that chill cafe vibe. The wonderful people behind the counter really make you feel welcomed and appreciated. I ordered a mocha and couldn't have been more pleased with my choice. Really nice place to come to relax or get some work done. Comfortable seating is available both inside and out.

    Watered down cold brew taste

Both drinks were a let down, the cold brew did not have a strong coffee taste neither did the matcha.

Taza de Maza....rich and creamy (taste like Spanish Latte)

Right off the freeway exit, inside the Cultural Plaza, Buenas Coffee is at the center of this building. It's a cozy small coffee shop. The staff are friendly and seem to care about your experience....I had questions on some of their specialty drinks on the menu. The coffee shop gives off a modern, intimate vibe but not cramped, with both indoor and patio seating--great for a chill catch-up or a solo work (aka me running in and out!):) I got Taza de Maza - so rich and creamy! I think it's similar to Spanish Latte. It has a strong coffee flavor which I like. Next time, I'll be brace to try the "Coffee Soda", which is tonic water with espresso. It comes unsweetened but you can add sweeteners. Last note:: Interesting now "everyone and everything " has an app...so not surprising Buenas Coffee offers an app to order your favorite drinks and earn points!

What I ordered: - Cordial This iced drink is comprised of an espresso and oat milk base with orange blossom aromatics, toasty cacao, and creamy vanilla. The presence of orange was very minimal for me, wanted more of it actually. The cacao was subtle, not overly dominant but noticeable. The creamy vanilla stood out the most, despite this being the case, the espresso still shined through. I would definitely order this drink again!

    Cortados and elote pastry

Lovely little coffee shop in Costa Mesa. They have a lovely selection of pastries and breakfast burritos. We tried the elote pastry and was delicious. It was sweet but not too sweet which complimented the cortados. Service was quick and prompt. If you enjoy a quiet and colorful coffee shop, I would recommend visiting Buenas.

Hidden in an unlikely business park and connected to a co-working space is Buenas. They have a classic coffee menu and a signature menu that leans towards Mexican flavors. Today, we tried the palo santo. Frankly the barista explained what all the specialty drinks were but I was too sleepy to absorb the info. The palo santo was a surprising delight. The drink comes in a small short cup and it was cold, but there was no ice. The flavors were surprisingly unique which makes me want to come back and try their other specialty drinks. The pastries also look very traditional. Indoor seating. Casual. Good service. Easy parking. Please come and create your own adventure.

BUENAS COFFEE Palo Santo latte topped with Smokey espresso salt. Addictive!

Highly recommend BUENAS COFFEE amazing Palo Santo latte topped with espresso salt. Aromatic, smokey and sweet. They infuse Palo Santo (holy wood) in homemade simple syrup. All their syrups are homemade and unique. Besides coffee, latte, espresso, horchata, and tea drinks, BUENAS offers home-made deli delectables (veggie empanadas, oatmeal, etc.), friendly baristas, boho chic decor, quiet ample indoor + outdoor seating, WiFi, special events, pop-ups & local artist goods. They roast their own coffee beans with state-of-the-art Bellwether Roasters machine -- the 'Tesla' of coffee roasting machines. BUENAS COFFEE curates great coffee, community + culture.

Drive by on a Saturday and they were open! Wasn't busy, so it was perfect for a quick snack before my appointment I had down the street. Walked in, was greeted by the three workers, so sweet. They helped me pick a yummy baked good, I chose the homemade vegan brown sugar pop tart by a small biz in Long Beach. Soooooo delicious. Wasn't too sweet. I got the cold brew with the sweet corn foam top. The cold brew was smooth and not bitter at all. Seats onsite and easy parking. Industrial lot. Super chill inside. Cute decor.

This place is a charming coffee shop with Latin vibes offering creative drinks and outside seating. The staff is friendly and very fast knocking out each order. I ordered the Mallows and Molasses, which has a toasted marshmallow, brown butter and molasses. The drink is really smooth and rich. I enjoyed this spot, will come back when I'm in the area again.

At the Costa Mesa location, parking was a little tricky at first, but after circling we got lucky with a corner spot. The location itself is SO cute! It's right next to colorful barrel fountains, and on a sunny day it honestly felt like the perfect coffee outing. The line was pretty long and you are standing in direct sun, so just keep that in mind, but the service was quick and efficient once you order. Inside, it's small but really charming, with Sunny Angels hidden around and a very open, friendly vibe. My sister (who is basically a professional coffee drinker at this point ) got the matcha and said it was her favorite, which says a lot. I got the iced Spanish latte with oat milk, and it was SO good. Spanish lattes are my go-to, and this one had the perfect hint of cinnamon without being overly sweet. Even as the ice melted, it still tasted great, which is rare. The Torrance location was just as good! Parking was easier, the space is bigger, and the service was still super friendly and fast. My husband got the cold brew "Nook way" and finished it in like 10 minutes. He said it tasted like Golden Grahams cereal. Highly recommend both locations and especially the Spanish latte. Definitely worth the visit!

Despite being relatively close to two major colleges - OCC and UCI - this place wasn't as crowded as you'd imagine it would be. They serve coffee, matcha, breakfast foods like breakfast burritos, protein bowls, avocado toasts - but I didn't pick anything to eat since I already had lunch. I shared with the barista that it was my first time here, and he asked what type of drink I was looking for. I told him something iced and caffeinated - and he mentioned his favorite was the Honey Cinnamon Latte - which I opted for - iced, with oat milk. Total was $8.50 including tip. My iced Honey Cinnamon Latte was yummy, creamy, and fantastic! With the oat milk substitute, it sorta tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch in liquid coffee form. It wasn't overly sweet, definitely had a nice kick to it - love this recommendation by the barista! I checked out the rest of the space and used their restroom to wash my hands - it's really a neat space here. Lots of seating. Lots of space. Some of the other reviews mentioned no a/c - which had me worried considering we were having a bit of a heatwave lately - but to my pleasant surprise, A/C was on and cold! It was a great escape from the heat. Free wifi - fast enough for a zoom call if you need to hop into one - my speedtest reported download speeds of 17.5MB/s Restroom is clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking - of course, I stopped by a little after 2pm, so already avoiding the tail end of the lunch rush. Only downside is they close kinda early - 4pm - but open up at 7am. Great spot! Will probably be my go-to considering there's ample workspace, plenty of parking, less crowded than other coffee spots in the immediate area. I'm curious to try their matcha the next time I'm here, as well as possibly their breakfast burritos, since photos for that looks delicious.

It's easily one of my all-time favorite coffees. The Philz Coffee across from South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa can get pretty busy, so parking isn't always easy during peak hours. Luckily, you can order ahead on the mobile app and simply pick it up. My favorite part is taking that very first sip while it's freshly handcrafted before putting the lid back on. That first taste always makes me happy. The friend I brought with me ignored my recommendation and ordered a cold brew instead.
