These reviews are pretty accurate. Our waitress was fine. However the boneless wings were old. The cheeseburger was dry and hard. The sauces were all nasty and taisted abit like paint and sugar. The restrooms could be smelled outside of the doors. I gave one star for decent service and one for the potato wedges, the only food on the menu I'd recommend. Avoiding this place would be your best choice. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Worst service ever. Had to ask another waitress for things we needed. Allison was a terrible waitress, looked at our table several times and never asked how we were or if we needed anything. We waited 15 minutes and still had to ask another waitress for some more seasoning. She then brought us a check before we had even touched our food and asked if we needed a box. We talked to Joshua, the manager and he did not seem to care at all. After he talked to her she never once came back to our table. Worst experience and worst service ever. read more

Furious about the customer service here. My husband & his work friends only get an hour for lunch so, like they've done in the past, called their order in ahead & specifically said dine in. The workers must not have communicated with each other because the hostess told us we needed to pay at take out. We waited for the take out lady, named Tracey, to come to the register & talked to us like we were stupid. She told us that this area is for check out only & that we would have to ask to be seated. We tried to explain to her what our problem was & she kept interrupting us & wouldn't give us the freaking time of day. When we finally figured out that they boxed our order to go she didn't want to split our ticket between the 5 of us. She seemed very annoyed & agitated. I will NEVER come here again. read more

Three of us went to BWW's around 9 pm to order some salads to go. We went in, ordered, and waited at the bar for our food. We had to wait over 30 minutes for our to-go salads. When we finally got them and brought them back to our hotel, they either screwed up or forgot dressing for all 3 salads. The food that was correct was good, but the missing dressing and the huge wait for some easy salads in an empty restaurant was unforgivable. 2 stars read more

As someone who's an avid sports fan that travels a lot, I've been to B-Dubs all across the United States. There's 4 of them in the Omaha metro area and I'm very pleased to call this one my home base. From the management to the bartenders this location is always full of bright attitudes and big smiles. The management will always make you feel like you're at home and they listen to the customers when it comes to filtering new local beers through the taps. Can't ask for much more than some new exciting beers to go with that southern style chicken sandwich! read more

I am honestly gobsmacked that I'm giving a BWW location a 5 start review, and primarily for the service, which is also odd...Having been to two other locations, one of which was in another state, I figured that at best, BWW had pretty decent food, but spotty and indifferent service and at worst, downright awful service...However, thanks to Liz for opening my eyes to what every BWW should be doing...Not only was she quick and knew what she was talking about, but she was friendly with a great sense of humor and is a real credit to the company...I ended up ordering a crispy chicken salad with the bourbon honey mustard sauce...Oh man this is what I'll keep ordering when I come...I can get a burger anywhere and granted, here, a burger is decent, but this salad will be my go to item...Price wise, pretty reasonable...This is one BWW location I will be very happy to come back to... read more

We had a server named Michael, he was very rude to us. I asked for no pico de gallo on my salad and they gave the salad to me with it on there. I had to ask three different servers to get an extra cup of ranch and all of them were very rude to me when I asked. We did not receive silverware to eat our dinner with. My grilled chicken was completely cold. My server did not give me back my change, and that upset me even though it was a small amount. This was the worst experience ever. Most likely will not eat here again!! I am very disappointed in the staff here, every time I've gone to this location I have been treated like garbage. read more

Food was good but they got my order wrong & forgot our fries completely. The server did bring me a beverage refill without being asked. Brought me the correct meal & we told him to never mind with the fries. He didn't charge us for the 2 iced teas we had. Very busy when we were there. I will go back for the food. Food is okay, stopped on a Friday night around 9pm for wings and a couple of beers. After ordering two Bud Lights we were told that they only had three left in the cooler. At the end of our meal we ordered one order of fried pickles to take home to our daughter. Once we arrived at home our daughter informed us that there was french fries and a hamburger in the sealed sack. Very disappointing experience and not sure how engaged the staff is. read more

Not happy at all. Took about 20 minutes to be seated which was fine as it was a fairly busy night however, it took about 15 minutes to take our drink orders. Everyone got their drink orders fairly quickly expect for the 7 year old which took about 20 minutes just to get her lemonade. We waited over an hour just to get our food. Not only was the food cold it was burnt. Never even offered a refill once on our drinks. I never leave reviews but I left there extremely pissed off. read more

Normally I have come to like this "sports bar" as one of those places to eat, drink, & be merry...but they have just lost a customer for life..and all over 2 pieces of carrot or celery. After taking in a movie with my friend & our combined 4 children, the kids suggested BWW. I thought, hey! Let's go! Brandon F. was amazing as our primary server. He was very accommodating, helpful, and a great asset to the corporation. I say corporation instead of establishment because it was the corporate side that I came smack dab right in the face of. My youngest prefers healthy (go figure) and wanted the veggies & the oranges. I told Brandon I would pay extra to get them both - everyone else got the french fries with their kid meals. When the young lady brought them out to us (not Brandon) the other 3 got big handfuls of french fries while Katie got 3 pieces of carrot and 2 celery sticks. Very measly in comparison - especially to a 7 year old. I asked the server for our veggies (they had forgotten) and a few more for Katie. She told me she would see about it. Then we got a visit from the "manager" who was really the shift leader. She told me they could not bring us anymore without paying since she got what she was supposed to get in a 5 oz portion. I told her we didn't need much just a couple of pieces to equal it out. She was very haughty and told me she couldn't. I asked her for the manager. She told me she was the manager. I said that I need the information of the person above her. She told me she would go and get her - thus she was not really the manager. Star, a manager, came to me next. I asked if we could step aside from our table - no reason to ruin it for more than just myself - and she obliged. Star apologized for the other employee's demeanor. She reiterated the 5 oz policy and said if she did it for us she would have to do it for everyone, no exception. I told her that it was poor customer service to be taking this much time to debate over a couple of pieces of carrots or celery. She said it was up to corporate. I told her I wanted to get back to my lunch - since the rest were already finished - and asked for the corporate information since they do not empower their employees to do with it takes to make people happy. I also told her it was not for me to understand policy - I was not an employee but I am well versed in what is good customer service. Making a one time exception for a 7 yr old is something that could easily make an occasional diner in to more of a regular diner. She told me it wouldn't matter since it would come right back to her anyway. I told her I would still like the information. My friend told me when I returned that the shift leader was questioning Brandon by the coin machines & he seemed worried. When Brandon returned, I asked him if he got in trouble about the celery/carrot issue. He said he had. I told him it was not his fault but theirs. They would rather fight over carrots & celery versus allowing me to finish my lunch. The amount of time & effort on an hourly wage (mine & theirs) made the veggies way more than the 60 cents they wanted to charge me. I went home & later that evening I wrote into corporate on the main website. Star had given me a phone number but I didn't trust where she was sending me. The next day (today) I received a call from Tim the actual store manager. He listened and was quite gracious. I went on and on about Brandon - to which he said it was nice to hear the great that they do. He apologized for us not feeling valued - but then we went into the details about how carrots and celery were decided on by the Board of Directors. I told him to hold up - I was not going to waste another minute of my time from my family to hear about policy. He was very tense immediately - and said through gritted teeth "I did not bring up anything about policy". My response was you were going to once you mentioned about the ruling by the Board of Directors. I do not work for you, I do not service you - it is the other way around. I am your customer. Rather I was your customer. Have a good night. And I hung up the phone. I WILL NOT BE BACK TO THIS RESTAURANT!!! Word to the wise - management is out for making as much money as they can on carrots and celery and is not interested in creating repeat customers. Try and stay off of their radar. Accept the cookie cutter, processed food they offer or seek dinner elsewhere. I hope that Brandon spreads his goodness to others. The lesson was supposed to be about going the extra carrot to keep a customer happy. I hope Tim, Star, and the rest of BWW of Council Bluffs managers one day learn how much this attempt to save a carrot actually has cost them. read more

Council Bluffs -Bad customer service. We went in to watch football. We were put in the corner booth where I couldn't see any tvs and my spouse could barely see any tvs and had to keep his head to the left or the right to do so. The staff member, I didn't get his name, said he would look in the bar for seating. I told him we didn't want to sit in the bar and there were several open tables in the other side. He said, "They are particular about seating, so if they put you here there had to be a good reason for it." I said our reason for going there was to watch football. So, he says, again, he was going to look in the bar. Hmmm... Not very good listening skills. We left. The previous time we were there, it was a full house and very, very slow service. Called in a pick up order for boneless wings. Upon arrival the wings had bones in them, it took a hour to get the order re-made. Received boneless wings, however; the mild wings that were ordered were hot wings. The hostess made rude comments and keep rolling her eyes. Asked to speak to a manager 4 times and no manager ever came. Seen customers being seated, ordering their food and getting their food while waiting a hour for them to correct my order. Would have been better off walking in and getting a seat instead of calling the order in! We are regulars at this BWW. Only having a few bad experiences with one person. The staff are super friendly! The food is always cooked to our perfection! I always get boneless buffalo and they know to make mine with more sauce! My husband gets traditional desert heat, which we then share a basket of fries with desert heat seasoning! Another thing is. If you order it for take out, it always seems to be cold when we get ours, bummer. Anyways. We attend almost weekly and some staff even ask how our son is! Thanks BWW! Yummmm! read more

This place has really disappointed me the last two times I've come here. This use to be our go to spot when we came to CB to shop, see a movie, ect. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is the food has been outstanding ONCE WE FINALLY GET IT. The service & waiting for food or drinks has gotten so ridiculous lately. Our servers these last two trips have been so inattentive that we DIDN'T LEAVE ONE CENT for a tip. Tonight our server & others were huddled at the end of the bar on their phones or sitting down at the table next to us socializing with people that were obviously intoxicated. We waited for our food. We waited for our drinks. We waited for our bill. We waited for the server so we could pay our bill. We had a 45 min drive ahead of us and it was late enough that we should have been in & out & down the road. As I said this is the second time in a row this has happened to us. Thank goodness that our food was good when we got it because we left PISSED OFF. Something has changed here in the last year because this never use to be the case. Horrible experience. We stopped in after shopping for a quick bite and sat in the bar area. We ordered two appetizers to share and a couple of drinks. The drinks arrived promptly, but we ended up leaving after 30 minutes since our food never arrived, though 3 tables around us that were seated after us received their appetizers before us. The waiter, though friendly, tried to blame the delay on the kitchen being short-staffed - that may be, but one order of 2 appetizers should arrive before three orders of 1 appetizer. I was really surprised this place only had 2 stars. I have always loved Buffalo Wild Wings, but have only been at this location one time. I was there on a date and we both ordered wings and an appetizer. The food was served in a short amount of time and it tasted delicious, especially the wings. Our waitress wasn't exactly friendly, but she got the drinks to our table in less than 5 minutes and got our food to the table in less than 15 minutes, which is reasonable to me. I would give the service 3.5/5 and the food a 5/5. read more

As far as chains go, I've always loved Buffalo Wild Wings. Great beer, good buffalitos. We go to this particular one in Council Bluffs all the time. The past two times, we have been seated at tables that seem to belong to none of the wait staff. Both times, after 10 minutes, we've had to flag down employees (first time, a hostess; second time, a manager) to ask if we could get a waiter. I don't know if they're running a zone or a man scheme over there, but they need to work on better coverage, because they have a LOT of employees, so for a table to sit ignored for that long is inexcusable. read more
