Okay, we can all admit that the food is not divine ambrosia, but it's okay if you manage your expectations. You can eat a greasy, filling lunch for ten bucks. Most of all, I have to give these guys credit for handling large parties with cheerful aplomb. I've eaten there twice with groups of 10+, and not only was the service pleasant, but orders were accurate (with one minor exception), food delivery was reasonably swift, drink refills were prompt, and separate checks were brought out unsolicited. Service was kinda not cool at first. I asked for a booth for more relaxed setting as I had a bad day today. The hostesses akwardly found me a booth after a waitresses was giving attitude to her while walking away In disgust I am assuming because I was alone. Less tips. My food arrives...it was a sad looking plate of wings that was half naked and the cheese wedges didnt have much cheese on it. I asked where was the sauce. The guy looks at my plate....its not even coated at all with half of the pieces not being covered in sauce at all. Wow. I am munching on the regular wedge basket with barely any cheese at all and finally the guy comes along....with side of sauce. I am at this point tired. I start eating the wings. Wow. Rawhide feel to it. Tough biting into them. Only 3 out of 11 I ate or bit into was the classic moist covered in sufficient sauce what a wing usually tastes like when made right. The others was so tough meat went between my teeth immediately. I am still hungry but am done with tough meat for the night. The lone wing I didnt bother on tackling looked so rough. I hate writing this review because I usually LOVE their food but last nights food was inedible and I feel was almost given to me on purpose.. So I place an order through the BWW app because I have a reward to redeem. I guess the app already had another reward I had available so it ended up letting me use both on my meal. I ended up saving a lot on the order. I get my food and it is ice cold (the delivery guy took a while so I can't say that's the restaurants problem), the wings are all fat and were under cooked. The onion rings are all fried dough and hard, the onion is literally sticking to the dough and crisped that it doesn't even taste like onion. It tastes like deep fried nothing. It was the worst food I have ever had from there. I feel like maybe they did this because my order was basically free. It's one thing if you get 1 fatty chicken wing but to get all 10 fatty seems odd. I spend so much money at this restaurant chain in Northbrook. We literally order from here once a week. After the nausea of pulling a part raw/fat chicken wings to try to eat and attempting to eat plain fried batter, I don't think I can order from here again. The fact that the person preparing the food thought that this was ok to send out is shocking. That person really needs to find a new job or get trained on how to cook properly. Not only was my order not ready at the pick up time, my order was not in the system, even though I had an e-receipt and my cc was charged when the order was placed, days earlier. Shame on me for coming here again, for the same thing happened last year. This place is a total CF. No organization, no planning, and the computer system is down not allowing any cc payments. For what it is, it is great. Lots of TVs, reasonably priced beer and good service. Ryan our server was fantastic. He was very attentive and had great manners. He was very helpful with one of our party who had a hard time deciding what to order and moving around the restaurant. He showed a lot of compassion which you rarely see in a server. One of us had a chicken wrap which was very tasty with warm chicken, another had a crispy chicken sandwich with hot buffalo sauce which was delicious and I had the grilled chicken sandwich with spicy garlic sauce. It seems that the spicy garlic sauce needed a little sweetness to balance it. Otherwise it had the right level of garlic and heat. The lighting was bright inside but the patio was a very nice option if it had not been so chilly that night. I don't know if it was a bad night or what. However, it was filthy. The floors had stuff all over them. The tables in the bar area, when empty, we're not clean, etc. The service was the worst. We waited at least 15 minutes, not exaggerating, to see our waitress. Then, every step of the way took so long because we couldn't spot our server and she wasn't coming by. I know, it's another chain, but I watched the building go up from a vacant lot to a place just south of heaven. I went there the moment they cracked the doors open to the public. I was already excited to be there but today I was going to snarf up an order of traditional Blazin' Wings! They put a stop watch up against me and I downed 6 wings in 1min and 40secs. I would have done it faster but I had to chew the cartilage. After the initial pain wore off, euphoria settled in. I was literally giddy and in high spirits. No, I didn't have anything to alcoholic to drink. I was sad to leave but I had to get back to work. I shall return, and when I do, it will be 12 wings in roughly 3 minutes. This review highlights my son's recent trip to Buffalo Wild Wings (written by my son) I go to BWW quite often, after baseball games, basketball games, and even on weekend nights with friends. The food is always great but that's not the only thing that makes the restaurant a place I want to keep coming back to. During my most recent trip to BWW, I ordered a six piece nugget entrée. When it came out, I noticed that two of the nuggets were extremely tiny. I calmly questioned the waitress whether or not those nuggets "counted" as part of the six piece meal. She saw my plate and without any request, immediately apologized and told me she would take care of it. She came back two minutes later with three more extra nuggets. It's this type of service that makes this BWW so good. I love Chicken Wings and BW3 (Still that to me) has always been me second favorite to Buffalo Joe's is Evanston. It's a great addition to the North Shore. I had the Honey BBQ and the Zesty Garlic Wings. The zesty garlic was amazing. We went the night before they opened for a soft opening and free dinner. They have a vast menu beyond wings, but I would stick with wings and other bar staples. Also try their specialty lemonades. Our server was very good, but the rest of the staff was still learning. The other thing I love about BWW is that its a great place to meet a buddy for a beer or to watch a game or to bring the family for a meal. Make sure to check their nightly specials. read more

I met my friend here for dinner on $0.60 boneless wing Thursday. Our server was attentive and pleasant. We got fifteen wings in three different sauces (garlic Parmesan, honey BBQ, and mild) with celery and dipping sauces and got the skillet queso as an appetizer. All that and a Diet Coke for a little over $20. Some of their non-special food can be pricey, but you'll be fine if you stick to the wing specials - regular wings on Tuesdays and boneless on Thursdays. We got there around 6pm for dinner and it wasn't at all crowded. By the time we left around 8, it was pretty busy, but there were still open tables, even with an MLB play off game going on. This is probably the newest location out here in northern suburbia - yes? They were pretty slow for an early Saturday afternoon. The first thing I noticed was that their parking situation is much better than Mt Prospect's location. We usually carry out @ Mt Prospect and if the restaurant is packed (like pretty much every evening) you park somewhere near Carsons and when it's snowing/raining and the mall traffic is zipping through the parking lot, it sucks. So yeah... Northbrook's BW3 has plenty of parking. The menu is exactly the same as all the other locations - the décor is the same as all the other locations. Where Northbrook's BW3s dropped the ball is service... 'twas not very good. There weren't many people in the restaurant today so there is no excuse for this. Our guy only refilled my lemonade once and that's only because my wife had to exaggeratedly flag him down as he walked by. That's my complaint - besides that, this place is set up EXACTLY like the other BW3 locations (which is usually a good thing). In the interest of full disclosure, I'll say we hit up this BW3s after taking an insanely long bike ride (on possibly the hottest day of the year) and we probably looked just terrible (sweaty, dirty, stinky, etc). We come here all the time and other BWW as well. The food is fatty and you'll definitely gain five pounds the next day but you only live once...Right? A good tip is to come on Wednesdays if you have kids because the meals are on 99 cents and you can get two meals per kid! One time the whole family ate here for $20 on Wednesday. I, along with at least 30 other people called ahead orders to be picked up at this location, only to arrive and wait in complete mayhem for 40 minutes to get my food on top of the 30 they told me it was going to take to cook. While a mob of people stood in the restaurant waiting in line to be rung up, our food sat in back bagged up, ready to go and no employees taking control of the crowd and the system. I love going out to Buffalo Wild Wings, I have recently moved into the area and I wanted to treat my girlfriend to our favorite restaurant. We got here and the hostess was very polite said we can be seated anywhere as it was moderately busy. The waiter we had was nice and attentive until the food came. I had gotten the large boneless wings which about a handful were undercooked but the biggest frustration was 4-5 employees including our waiter were crowding around a table with one customer which was four tables away. They were quite loud and incredibly distracting, so much so my girlfriend and I were having trouble talking to each other. read more
