While walking in, the smell and just general atmosphere felt great in the restaurant. The workers/bakers were very friendly, and then I got to ordering. I ordered the avocado toast, and it consisted of two greatly charred pieces of toast with a nice layer of fresh avocado, an over-easy egg, and a couple of tomato slices. I asked for no red onion because I don't like the overpowering taste of them. I got a cup of fruit to go along with it, which was complementary. This is a tough one to review on the premise that the name boasts they are the best, or have the best. Although I do agree they have the best "something" I have to say it certainly is NOT the best pizza. To grade the pizza it almost fails due to the dough and lack of sauce. What sauce it did have was tasty but nearly absent. The pepperoni were ok and the cheese was almost like Chuck E Cheese's so also okay, but the dough and crust were horrible. On the upside and the saving grace here were the wings. These are the BIGGEST wings I have ever, and I mean EVER seen! The sauce was tasty and full of flavor and they were cooked to perfection. Juicy inside and firm throughout. I was even gnawing at the hard bits. Very very good! I may have to say these wings are maybe the best in the area that I've had to date. One other thing worthy of mention here are the prices. They are about $2 less then all competition in the area for almost everything on the menu, but like I said the pizza needs serious work. A solid 3 stars here, but im going to give 4 stars on the simple fact that the wings and prices here were great. Haven't ordered from here for several years but our usual place was closed so we remember this business. We looked up their menu on their website and made our selection. Our call was answered almost immediately. The gentleman was extremely polite and very helpful in guiding us in "fine tuning" our order. Payment over the phone was quick and easy and delivery was promised within the hour. Actual delivery was about a half hour. Very pleasant deliver driver as well and was wearing a mask. Our order was for a large veggie pizza with hot peppers added. The pizza was disappointing. It seemed like it was mostly green and black olives with a few other items added. Pizza was well cooked and the crust was perfect. Overall, while the customer service was great the pizza was average. The Big Ultimate steak sub ( formerly the Big Don which was always loaded and wrapped in foil and baked) was a big disappointment , the roll was not baked or toasted and not much cheese was used. Went here originally on my way to Alfred with some fam. Got the Canadian breakfast sandwich and it was one of the most delicious breakfast sandwiches I ever had. Everything made in house, the potatoes were seasoned perfectly! The scones were fresh with small pieces of green apple and I even got a tiramisu that just melted in my mouth. After getting to Alfred we decided to drive all the way back a few days later because it was that good. The chef even brought us complimentary macaroons because it was a little busy and he wanted to give us something to "snack on" while we were waiting (tip from chef: let them sit a bit as they are made fresh everyday, but left in a chiller to keep freshness). They had a few in the pizza rotator, and another one in the oven, because I asked how old the slices were and was told they came out recently. I only asked for one slice, and got a bonus of two. I thought the slice was tasty. I wish the pepperoni cupped a little more, but I liked the taste of the sauce, cheese and pep altogether. It's a pizza joint. Buffalo has got to have more pizza joints per captia than any other city in the nation. It's like lawyers - there's at least one pizza joint, or lawyer, for every 5 residents in Erie County. I have frequently said Buffalo's Holy Cross is that there is a church, a bar, a pizzeria and a Tim Horton's at every intersection. In the name of Jimmy Griffin, Amen. But in the world of pizzerias that seem to come and go, Buffalo's Best maybe isn't Buffalo's Best, but they are damn good. Certainly better than the run of the mill national chains, and better than most of the other local places too. Some might top them, depending on individual preferences, but I would challenge anyone to try Buffalo Best's garlic crust pizza and not struggle to contain their sexual arousal as the flavors fill their mouth. Other good qualities - they don't just ask you for your phone number, they save it, along with your address data, so the next time you order if they can confirm your phone number you don't have to spell out your name and address to them repeatedly. They're good with "timed" orders - getting your order done when you ask it to be, not just saying "20 minutes" and then letting your pizza lose it's zest under a heat-lamp for 30 more minutes. I called and they took 45 minutes to replace the order and the replaced order was wrong as well! When the second wrong order was brought into the house, the delivery man walked through our house with snowy shoes. He mixed both wrong orders, and still left us an incorrect meal and took what was remaining back to the store. He was also quite rude. Well, they always mess up my order every time we decide to eat from here our dinner is late because they never gave me the things that i ordered. For example i always order barbecue chicken pizza WITHOUT bacon and and when i go home and open the box they always put bacon in it. Asked for wings to be crispy and medium, picked up and got home no sauce was on the wings they were dry and they were not crispy at all. Called them and was told nothing could be done unless we drive or order back to them. We live in their delivery area so we asked if we could have it delivered they said nothing they can do unless they see it.
