TLDR: rude service and doesn't wash hands, terrible food I came here for lunch. The staff owner is not friendly. She is rude: she doesn't get the order correct and then comes up to me tells me I didn't charge your for chips. I said. Ok and reach for my credit card. She asked do you have cash??! I said: no I never made a scene so I let it slide. Then I see she goes out to throw out the trash and she returns and I ask her for a box. For the rest of my food. She says I'll wrap it. She then proceeded to touch my food. A sandwich with her dirty hands. She never washed her hands. I will never return for terrible service and unhealthy habits that clearly violate health and safe safety food handling. Stay away. The food is also not good.

Transparent or clarified pricing when ordering online or via phone. Quality of food vs price is also skewed.

Perfect location walking distance from the airport hotels, especially if you're looking for a late lunch when other restaurants are closed! The food is delicious and the older couple running it are so lovely. Great mix of (authentic) Asian cuisine and American favorites. Pro tip: walk along the water when coming to/from your hotel to enjoy spectacular views.

Amazing find! Staying across the street for an early morning flight and happened upon this little gem. Between the four of us we had a western burger, fries, chicken donburi, ton-katsu donburi and a bento with teriyaki chicken and gyoza. Everything was delicious and generous portions! The burger was well seasoned and the fries perfectly crispy. I tried a bit of all of the other items and the donburi sauce is outstanding. Appreciate the very polite service and cleanliness of the dining room. Would 11/10 come back again! (We joked that when we fly back into SFO in 3 weeks that we should stop in again for dinner before we start our drive home to the valley! I was not joking...yum!)

Great place with high quality food! Definitely great customer service and will be coming more often. The salmon Teriyaki bento box is by far my favorite one around. I'm usually careful but this place is on the money!

Been working in this area for over three years and never even noticed Bullshead Express till now. Going in, I was expecting burgers, but that only took up a small portion of their menu. Their menu also includes: Sandwiches, salad, noodles, bento boxes, sushi rolls and more. I was a little shocked at what my total came out to be. My boyfriend and I ordered a Chirashi bowl, seafood Udon, two hot teas and it totaled up to $67 excluding tips. It was pricey, but the portions were huge and it was very delicious. So much umami in my seafood udon, which had mussels, scallops, salmon, hamachi, shrimp, tai, bak choy, spinach and onions. The Chirashi had three large pieces of salmon, hamachi, tuna, tai, seared tuna, a mixture of sashimi in poke form and a spicy imitation crab wrapped in a cucumber on top of sushi rice. We got more than what the menu said it would have. Although a little shocked when paying, I personally think that the pricing was reasonable for the items that I ordered because seafood is expensive and the owners did not skimp on the ingredients. I didn't order, but I did look at the three item bento boxes and the pricing for that was quite steep. The base price is $23.95, which really only comes with chicken teriyaki, gyoza, California rolls, or avocado rolls because anything else is an additional $1-2. If you want a repeat of one item, it's an additional $2-$5. Pricey....however, I do love supporting local businesses and the food was prepared with care by a lovely couple. I enjoyed all the items that were ordered during my visit.

    Bento

Did a bento box. The food was ok, not the best value. I'd rate it a 3.5. The tuna sashimi was kind of bland, so not the best cut. The teriyaki chicken seemed to be a pre cooked piece heated up with teriyaki sauce. Rubbery is the best word. Burgers looked good, will try those next time. As for sushi there are better deals nearby.

The hospitality here is top-notch! Friendly, attentive, and the kind of service that makes you want to come back before you've even finished your meal. The food was outstanding. Every dish tasted incredibly fresh, and you can really tell they care about the quality of their ingredients. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, which isn't always easy to find, and every bite was packed with flavor. To top it all off, don't skip dessert. The affogato was the perfect ending to an amazing meal. Its simple, rich, and absolutely delicious. It's clear that Mehmet takes a lot of pride in both the food and the experience he provides, and it shows in every detail. It was easy to make a rezzie for a large party thru OT. Plus no CC to secure the table. I had to leave early since I was heading to of town, but I stayed for the apps. The calamari and salad were tasty. Our server was very sweet and accommodating with such a large party. I always appreciate patience since not everyone knows what they want as we make out rounds ordering. The resto has a neighborhood vibe to it. And the prices? I was shocked when I saw how low they are compared to what we're used to. So affordable. I rarely get sticker shock being used to SF prices and this was in the opposite direction. Great resto for a nice casual meal. Especially for larger parties. REVIEW #4049

Always love the option to join the online waitlist ahead of time when reservations aren't available. Favorite dishes of the night were: -Gnocchi Fritto appetizer: Never had fried gnocchi before, had a great puffy texture. Truffle taste in the truffle cream sauce wasn't very strong. -Zucchine e Maiz lasagna: Pesto was a great sauce choice and paired well with the zucchini and corn. -Squid Ink Seafood Pasta (special): Generous seafood portions and the dish was flavorful. -Complimentary focaccia: Fluffy and yummy with olive oil. Other dishes: The Italian Sausage lasagna was fine. I personally love crispy lasagna edges, but some people found it too crisp and too dry. The salad (Insalata di Rucola) wasn't mind blowing, but I'm glad we ordered a veg to cut through the richness and heaviness of three carb-heavy entrees. The restaurant itself is smaller than expected, so I would avoid coming here with large parties. It also felt really hot and stuffy inside, which I anticipate getting worse as summer progresses. The interior is cutely decorated. Service was initially attentive. We did have to flag down our waitress multiple times to order and get the check. Overall, my party enjoyed the food and we would come back!

The place is quite pretty. We opted for a small table outside , which is much quieter. Our waiter was a bit stiff around the collar. I suspect he is an old timer, and clearly, we are not regulars. Regardless, the food is great, and the prices are reasonable. The Food: Zucchini Cake, $15 - 4.5 Stars Menu: crispy zucchini cakes with cucumber & mint-yogurt dressing These cakes are ball shaped, deep fried, and made a healthy veggie taste naughty type of good. Very yummy. Lol Tzatziki, $9 - 5 Stars Refreshing and delicious, the tzatziki is an excellent complement to the meal. Octopus, $19 - 5 Stars I really need to stop eating octopus, but when I am in a Greek or Spanish restaurant, I am weak. Grilled octopus legs are soooo good. Their version is grilled just right, not too much char, plus they smartly removed the hardened tips (common) before serving. See photo. Lamb Shank, $34 - 5 Stars Menu: aromatic braised lamb shank with orzo & myzithra cheese The lamb meat is tender and falls off the bone. It is cooked just right. Mykonos Souvlaki, $31 - 5 Stars Menu: herbs marinated tenderloin, shallot & rosemary skewers I enjoy a tasty protein and produce meal, and this dish is perfection with tender pieces of tenderloin over a pile of veggies. Entrees did take a little while longer to be served but I don't blame the workers for the crowd. Service was attentive (server, food runners, & bussers). My drink: Post & Beam Cabernet Sauvignon red wine - rich, full bodied, mildly sweet with a smooth, long finish. Complimented my entree very well (lamb shank). No clash in taste going from eating to drinking. Appetizers: Calamari: Not a huge fan of calamari personally but it was okay. Crispy and chewy squid inside as expected. Greek fries: Typical fries. Crispy and garnished with 2 sauces. One has a mild spice. Nothing super special but it was good as a choice of "sides" from the menu that turned into an appetizer. Had some leftover for my entree that paired well with it actually. Zucchini cakes: crispy shell on the outside but a mushy, hashbrown-like inside of a flavorful mix of vegetables. Really enjoyed this one. Would recommend it. Entrees: Mine: Lamb Shank: soft, tender, the meat melts right off the bone. The sauce is amazing. Tasteful down to the garnish. There was one end that was super fatty and slimy and then different side of the same end that was really chewy like bubblegum but other than that, still my favorite dish from everyone else's. Glad I chose this. Fisherman's Pasta : the presentation is immaculate, very proportional ratio of seafood to the pasta. l like the variety but honestly, this dish is bland. Good thing I got the lamb shank! Arnisia Paidakia (Lamb Chops): Didn't eat but the person who ate it said it tastes good but kind of dry. What he enjoyed about it was that the rice was made of wheat & savory as well. Lobster Risotto - wasn't my personal order but I got to try a bite. Had some flavor and and enough meat from the tail to eat with the savory rice. Free birthday Baklava desert: Never had it before but I got a bite and liked it. Ended up giving the rest to everyone else. This place is good for its variety of choices so I may come back for the good food and atmosphere.
