A taste of Chicago. Chicago hotdog, tenders and fettuccine alfredo are our favorites here. Lately, we tried the protein bowl. It was good! The staff here are all nice.

I visited a very nice restaurant that was clean and spacious. The beef sandwich I ordered was excellent; the beef wasn't greasy, and the sausage was cooked to perfection. I also enjoyed the Oreo shake, though it had a bit too many Oreo chunks in it for my liking. The service was really nice they offer to pick up your glass plates when you're done eating.

Random stop on my way to the hotel. Out here for work and the drive to my lodge was too long to wait. Saw this place so decided to check it out. Ordered their classic buona beef sub with fries and lemonade...and wow it was splendid. Learned they marinate their beef briskets in gravy...now I know what you're thinking whhhatttt??????? Yes and the flavor is amazing. First off the meat is very juicy and the gravy marinade wasn't too thick or salty at all. The bread it came in wasn't soggy at all either and gave it the perfect crisp and soft texture to each bite. I didn't realize you can add bell peppers and onions to the sub so ordered it just as is but the flavor was still amazing. Oh yes and the fries were just made and tasted fresh and homemade Wasn't expecting much at all for what I viewed as fast food but it was beyond my expectations. Would try if you're in the Chicago area

Ate inside and was served cold pasta? Boxed this up and the fries at the table were still insanely hot.

I often pass this place up. Mostly because it takes forever to get your order. Today was a huge improvement. Food taste great. Place is often super clean. The big negative for me is how long it takes to get my food. I usually come around 4. Don't normally expect it to be really hectic at that time. I stopped coming after how long it would take just to get a beef and fries. Today, I got my food real fast. Tasted great. Hopefully, this is something they have corrected and it's improved. I'll come again because a friend gave me a big gift card for the place. We shall see.

I often go here and do the drive through and or curbside pickup. I recently decided to go inside and eat because I was really hungry and I didn't want to eat inside the car. Going through the drive through is usually a pretty quick experience and the customer service is usually GREAT. Going inside the restaurant was a bit different, the cashier was really nice. The restaurant was spacious, bright and clean but my experience after sitting down was a bit DIFFERENT. One of the workers, I presume she cleans the tables; kept walking past my table, every few seconds, and looking at my table. It made my experience a bit odd, I'm not complaining just mentioning it made my experience a bit different. Otherwise it wasn't a bad experience. I love their meatless beef's and I usually tell all my family and friends about it.

Love Buona so much! We were so excited when one was opening close to home, however, this location has only been disappointing. My parents went for their first visit and were disappointed at the lack of beef on the sandwich and how dry the sandwich was (they didn't ask for it without juice). They also ordered a chocolate shake and it was white and tasteless, hmmm I went to visit recently and this location was closed during lunch time due to a power outage for hours. It was sad. Lastly, my mom still hasn't gotten a $10 credit they emailed her about due to her bad experience. She has followed up twice with no response.

Was excited when I knew of this new location and the fact that it had a drive through. I placed an order for three large beefy sandwiches with cheese cheese last Sunday through drive-thru. Got home and to my surprise they didn't have cheese. Was disappointed, called the location and when I asked to speak to a manager they hung up. Called again and they were hesitant to get me the manager. After waiting for a while I spoke to manager and he stated they would issue me a $10 credit, never received credit. I understand that errors happen but when you spending over $72 dollars in food they should at least honor credit and ensure accuracy. Very bad customer experience at this location.

Beautiful presentation of a beef sandwich, way too salty

Some of my favorite items are the roasted veggie pizza, chicken Caesar salad, cheese fries and, of course, the beef sandwiches.

Posto 31 is located in Lagrange Park which is just slightly outside and west of the city. Their restaurant week deal is $45 per person for dinner and every adult in the party is required to participate. We tried the following: 1) Pork belly with a brown butter sweet potato mash and apple slaw - This was a delicious and refreshing appetizer. The fat isn't excessive and there is a good sear with the pork belly. I think it was different in a sense that it didn't exactly go with the Italian theme. 2) Arancini with chicken, parmesan, mozzarella, and marinara. This is the standard fare and you can't go wrong with this selection. 3) Faroe Island salmon with squash puree and Brussel sprout slaw. The salmon was well executed and I loved how it was paired with the slaw. 4) Arrabbiata with squid ink linguini and jumbo shrimp. This was the star of the night and what drew our attention when we first reviewed the restaurant week menu. It is rare to find squid ink linguini in the city and neighboring suburbs. The portion was huge and the flavors were absolutely delicious. We are already planning a return to order this again. 5) Tiramisu was the standard fare and once again, the portion was huge. We demolished it though. 6) Cookie skillet had a square of chocolate chip cookie topped with candied pretzels, vanilla ice cream, and whipped cream. We did not get to try it because our girls just took it to town. So needless to say, it was thoroughly enjoyed. We also ordered the kids' an eight inch pepperoni pizza. It was more than enough for our two girls to share.

Nothing special from the outside, but once you walk in it's a totally different vibe. Feels like a little Italian village inside. Murals on the walls, cozy decor everywhere, just a nice surprise. The people working there were super friendly. Kept our water filled, checked in a few times, just really welcoming overall. I got the half meatball sandwich with soup. Soup was good, but the sandwich was the star. One big homemade meatball, covered in marinara, on French bread with melted cheese and hot peppers. The meatball was soft and juicy, almost melting a bit when you bite in. The marinara had that rich tomato flavor, a little tangy but smooth. The cheese brought everything together, all melted into the bread so every bite felt creamy and savory at the same time. Then the hot peppers hit and gave it that kick that cuts through all the richness. Every bite had a mix of everything, all working together. Definitely left full, and I'll be coming back for more.

I've driven and walked by this place several times, but I am so glad that I went in and tried it. They have a lot of non-meat protein options that is why the first time my husband and I came here on a Friday (of Lent), we did not have any problems. Main dishes usually come with soup or salad and bread service. The bread is soft and delicious. I have to remind myself not to eat the whole basket of bread to have room for my main dish! We have gone back here about 2 more times within 1 month. That says a lot about how much we love our experience every time we come. These are the dishes that we have tried: Cream of Broccoli, Minestrone, Pasta e Fagioli, Fettuccine Alfredo w/ mushrooms and spinach, Eggplant Parmesan, Veal Parmigiana, Spaghetti Calamari, Zucchini Parmesan, and Shrimp Diavalo. Every dish is made to order. They are all flavorful, well-prepared, delicious, fresh, and the portions are big enough to take some home (or maybe because I eat too much bread and finish the soup before my main dish). Service is always friendly, efficient, and pleasant. The place is clean, parking for the strip mall is ample, and the prices are very reasonable. Grazie! Mangia Mangia!

Needless to say,…read morethere was not a good restaurant in Alsip so we had to go to Oak Lawn for Francesca's on 95th! We had a great time, with great service and really good old fashioned Italian food!!! For our appetizer, we had the sausage and peppers. GAME CHANGER!!! Neither of us had eaten this classic Italian appetizer before and Francesca's version was a great introduction to this dish. Surprisingly, it was NOT the sausage that was the star of this presentation - it was the sauce and the peppers. The sauce was part top notch olive oil, part Italian seasonings and it was a wonderfully delicious background to each bite. The peppers (green, red & yellow) were perfectly cooked, luxuriously soft but still with a little crisp to them. Those peppers were perfectly cooked! I do think the sausage, while okay, was not up to the standard of the rest of this dish. For my main, I had the Linguini Alla Caruso - shrimp, garlic, olive oil with a basil-pine nut pesto sauce. It was very good, very good. Be warned though the sauce leans a little to the sour or harsh flavor. Not too bad, I certainly ate it up, but there was certainly a sharp taste every once in a while. My spouse had Dana's Bolognese. He was very happy with it! The overwhelming reaction to our main dishes was "holy crap" that's a lot of food! The dishes were as large as a coffee table and we NEVER could have eaten all that food no matter how long we sat there at dinner. Each dish was big enough to feed both of us and several people at nearby tables!!! But the best part of Francesca's on 95th was the service. Everyone was so friendly, so nice, hard working and willing to take care of our every need. Seriously, the staff worked their butts off and provided some of the best service I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Hats off to everyone from the hostess to the server to the bus people. You all really took care of us that evening. You will NOT walk away from Francesca's hungry! Is the food the best Italian I have ever had? Probably not but it is definitely solid and a great place to enjoy a good meal.

The smell of fresh garlic, tomatoes, and herbs in the air made us even more excited for the food. Our waitress was super friendly and made us feel welcome the whole time. I ordered the Fettuccine with Bolognese sauce, and added a meatball. We also ordered the Penne Alfredo with sausage so we could try both. When the plates came out, the first thing I noticed was the gigantic meatball. The fettuccine portion was generous, and the Bolognese had a rich tomato flavor. It was bold from the first bite, but for me the sauce became a little overpowering, and after a while it left a slightly metallic aftertaste. It was really good, but It was just a little too intense for my taste. The meatball was tender and flavorful, but I don't think one single meatball was worth the extra $5. The Penne Alfredo with sausage, though... that was the star of the meal. The Alfredo sauce was rich, creamy, and coated every piece of pasta perfectly, while the sausage added the perfect savory bite. I honestly wish I had ordered that instead. If I came back, that's exactly what I'd order.

Hi Yelpers, I sent…read morethis directly to Lucca's 6 days ago, and have yet to hear back. Being an independent vs a chain, I guess they have different sop's for responding to concerns. For your consideration: Disappointing - and I wanted to reach out versus putting this on OT / Yelp. $307.82 including tip for the following: Made a 5:30 rsvp, even though my entire party wanted 7, but I didn't want to be rushed and have a nice table, not to mention avoiding the issues below. Checked in early, seated right away in the back room, next to a spare chair and highchair. Room was warm with one other table in it, and bright. Noted "21st birthday" on rsvp, so maybe this table was set aside thinking it was a bunch of college kids. Server, Mariam, overall was fine. Drinks were priced by city standards. "Brooklyn" was watered down and not really cold. Glass wines weren't cold. Decided to skip apps and go right to entrees because we had other birthday stops to make. Nothing we ordered should have more than a :15 minute ticket time, especially fired at 5:45. We waited 30+ minutes for entrees, which were delivered in stages - 4 entrees, then 5 minutes later, the final 2 by the same guy. Only one food runner on a Saturday night? Marsala potato side delivered 5 mins after that. The food was marginal at best. All the pasta was overcooked and really not very presentable. Sauces were breaking. Portions were smaller than last visit. We had 3 baskets of bread to make up for it. No manager check on entrees, although we did see one turning down the AC. When did table visits become optional in our business? Very good tiramisu with a candle. The 3.5% service fee is a Covid-era tactic that shouldn't exist after 5 years... We have three more summer birthdays and the group unanimously said "let's try somewhere else." But, Lucca's may have had an off night, and I believe in giving objective feedback and trying it again. Thanks for listening.
