Cool small spot I passed by on my way home so I stopped in and gave it a shot. Service was great and workers are very friendly and informative. You can order on the kiosks or with a live person . Food was amazing I had the chicken rice burrito it was very tasty and full of everything you need . I ordered some other items as well and are just as good and have good portions not too big or small. I will be back CHEERS!!!

Ordered online for pickup and it was ready in 15-20 min -- pretty quick! Ordered a lemongrass chicken burrito and a mixed platter to try. Been eyeing a hainan chicken burrito after seeing it on social media and it sounded very appealing. Ordered less rice extra cabbage for my burrito. Must eat with the sauces! Entrance was clean and very organized. Looked like you could order from a kiosk too. The chicken was OK. It's not like the hainan chicken you could find in San Gabriel though. It's missing some ginger/oil marinade so it's more of a clean tasting chicken. Without the sauce I think it's def missing some flavor. Interesting idea though I wish the chicken had better seasoning. Might try again next time. Would def check it out if you haven't had something like this before.

I actually saw this play on their TT page, one of the female employees did a pretty funny video. I was gonnabe in LBC, so why not. The place is quaint and cozy, not much indoor seating. The decor of it all was urban and fun. I ordered the mix plate, fried chicken and lemongrass with a side of chicken skin. When I got my order it was actually the girl In the video! The food was really good, very savory. The addicting part with the chicken skin, I could eat those all day! The main gripe is the price, kinda on the high side for me. Overall, would I stop by? One day if I come back to LBC.

I hate to do this and had no plans to post this review but the experience was so appalling that I had to review. We came here for the first time for dinner. It was such a weird experience, when we walked in, we got greeted and that was it. So we started looking through the kiosk, and tried to place our order. Beware of the "combo", the price listed is for only the chicken plate, then you add in your drink order. I don't believe there's any discount if you order separately or as a combo. We were trying to pay and got "timed out". There was another party that walked in, and immediately got help at the cashier. At that point, why did we get sent to the kiosk instead of helped by the cashier to ring up our order. Luckily, they took our order then had us pay. Overall, food was not bad, but not the best. We ordered the two chicken plate - one with fried and original and the other fried and lemongrass with sugarcane juice. Like another helper said, the sugarcane juice was a little brown versus the green I'm used to, but it was tasty, The fried chicken was dry. Like over fried dry crispy, not in the good way. The lemongrass and original was a similar taste, once you dip in their sauces it tasted the same. The chicken skin was good, nice and crispy. Overall, this would have been a 3* but a few days later we found out that we were charged twice. We called immediately and was given the run around and they didn't believe us. We have been trying to work with you. It's not fraud. Of course we weren't given a receipt, one for the "time out" and the other at the counter. I'm not sure what kind of business you're trying to run, but this has been the worst experience ever. We called today trying to reach them, and had the rudest server answer. She said the manager isn't in and hung up. Customer beware. You have been warned about this place.

I've had Burd bookmarked a for a while now, and finally got to try it. I'm new to Hainanese chicken rice, but have been becoming a fan. There is something simple, yet rich about the dish. Burd's didn't disappoint. I really liked the flavor of the rice and the ginger scallion sauce. I think I liked my wife's crispy chicken a little better than my poached chicken, but maybe the mixed combo gives you the best of both worlds. The protein bowl is big enough for two meals for me, so it is also a pretty good value. I will definitely be coming back!

Honestly, my visit to Burd Chicken was pretty underwhelming. I got the combo with the crispy chicken and the Hainan chicken. The crispy chicken tasted a bit old, like it had been sitting out for a while and got reheated, and it was definitely overcooked. The Hainan chicken was just alright--nothing impressive. The sauce was good, but again, not impressive. I'm Cambodian and my mom makes a much better version, though I guess if you've never had it before, you might think it's great. We also got the crispy chicken skins. They were good, but absolutely not worth the crazy $30+ price tag for a large order. The wings were a letdown too--zero flavor and kind of soggy. Ironically, the sugarcane juice was probably my favorite thing on the menu.

Very solid, healthy, and quick lunch spot. Overall ingredients were fresh however, I felt this was not the best Hainanese chicken I've had but was passable. The overall dish was slightly dry. I would highly recommend buying an extra sauce because the singular sauce that the bowl comes with is not quite enough. Parking lot is also quite small so be prepared. Service was friendly and overall location was cute and clean.

Me and my husband ate here this week. We split the Classic Burrito. It had yellow rice, chicken, cabbage, cilantro cucumber and green onions. Chili ginger sauce came in a little ramekin on the side. The burrito was great! The sauce really made it. *yummy* I really liked the type of rice in it; I believe it's cooked in chicken broth. They do charge a 4% fee for using credit. I don't like when restaurants do that. Fortunately my husband had cash on him. We would definitely go back (and bring cash again) as the food was really good and seemed on the healthy side.

Came to Burd Chicken Rice and ordered through the kiosk, which was super easy and fast. The food came out so quick, I was honestly impressed. Seems like a good to go or sit down place but all the food packaged to go it seems. One of the workers came out and talked to us to see how the food was and it was super sweet. I got the mix plate with regular chicken and lemongrass chicken, and both were sooo good. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, but what really made it was the sauces. They just elevate everything. And of course, the rice was chef's kiss. So fragrant and comforting. There's also outdoor patio seating, which is nice if you want to hang out and eat there. Parking is a little limited, but it is free in the lot so not too bad.

For amazing chicken rice with a touch of Cambodian flare, you need to head to Burd Chicken Rice in Long Beach! I got their: Mix Burd Plate Lemongrass Chicken Protein Bowl Crackling Chicken Skin Garlic Soy Wings Cane Passion The crispy and poached chicken were my favorites because the meat was moist, juicy, and so tender which paired perfectly with their flavorful and fragrant ginger rice. All chicken rice plates come with soup, ginger scallion, and chili-ginger sauce, and you need to wash every down with their refreshing sugarcane drinks. They make all their plates fresh everyday and their chicken is never frozen, which you can really taste in the quality of every bite. The sides are also so good here, with their crispy chicken skins and their soy garlic wings being my favorites! I highly recommend coming here for your next chicken rice fix!

I ordered the Classic Burd Hainan Chicken Rice Plate. The chicken was juicy and the rice was flavorful. It's a good portion size for the price. It also comes with soup which was delicious. What stood out for me was the ginger scallion and chili-ginger sauce. It really complemented the rice and chicken. It's very flavorful. I was licking the container it came in just to get all the sauce. I came in during lunch. The parking there is kind of tight. The door was heavy to open. I had to use two arms to open it. The service was good. Didn't take too long to wait for my order. There's seating inside and outside. You could order your food from the screen or a person.

The food was damn tasty! We shared a 50/50 chicken& rice plate we got lemon grass chicken and the traditional steamed chicken. Its really about the sauces here, definitely dont miss the lemongrass sauce then douse your awesome rice with the scallion garlic sauce.. soo good! Ambiance is kinda fast fooodish on purpose. Service was super fast and friendly. So glad they chose to come to long beach, we are becoming a food city. Dont miss burd , you can thank me later. They also have some very cool beverages....

We were hungry and wanted something quick. Finally checked this place out and it was pretty good. Their Hainan chicken is definitely better compared to to other places in this area. Their rice was also well flavored and they give all the sauces that you usually get for this dish. Service was quick as we got it to go. Overall, not bad.

That would've been fine if the tables had been empty, but they actually asked us to get out of our seats so they could remove the table and chair linens. As for the food, some dishes were good while others were just average: Traditional cold plate: 4/5 - I liked the century eggs, and the pickled vegetables were refreshing. Beef steak with anchovy sauce: 3/5 - The beef was well seasoned and nicely charred, but it didn't come with the anchovy sauce that was listed on the menu. House special lobster with egg noodles: 4/5 - The lobster was good, and the noodles were flavorful, but they could've been cooked a little longer since they were a bit too al dente for my taste. Crab meat soup: 3/5 - The soup was thick and flavorful, but it barely had any crab. I'm not sure what else was in it, but it had white square pieces that reminded me of chicharrones with a seafood flavor. House special fried rice: 4/5 - It was flavorful and had plenty of Chinese sausage, but I wish it had more shrimp. Sweet and sour fish and shrimp soup: 3/5 - There was an ingredient I wasn't a fan of. I think they added mint, which gave the soup an unusual flavor. It just wasn't for me. Taro dessert: 4/5 - This was pretty good and was a nice way to end the meal. Overall, I don't see myself coming back to dine here. The food was decent, but there are just too many better restaurants to choose from.

A few men were playing dominoes in the middle of the restaurant and the guy in the next table had his feet up on a chair. Restroom was clean.

Outstanding dishes! The flavors pop, ingredients fresh, and presentation is appetizing. By far one…read moreof the best Combination Chow Mein and Spring Rolls I've ever had! Sounds like simple common dishes, but I have to brag about how delicious their food is...so far! And portions are appreciated. I've also had their shrimp fried rice which was quite delicious. Tried their beef skewers and they were a bit overpowering for my taste, but they were quite flavorful. Interior design/decor is nothing to brag about, but it's clean. My orders have been to go! Customer service is always excellent! Polite and warm service which makes the ordering process flawless. My goal is to order their Oxtail Noodle Soup and Beef Rib Noodle Soup. Huge recommendation by patrons! This Cambodian gem knows how to treat and cook for their customers. My new go to! Parking is a hit or miss depending on the time. For the most part there is parking available during the afternoon. Enjoy! *Update! On today's visit...I was informed that you can reserve the restaurant for big dinner parties upon request. Nicest people at this restaurant!:)

Very appealing to the eyes, the taste not so much. One meat ball cut in half & 5 pieces of sliced beef. Very underwhelming. The bowl was on the pricer side at $15.99 . Just meh. The Chicken porridge had good flavor they just used a cheap cut of drumsticks for the protein. Which was really chewy. $13.99 Last but not least was the salt and pepper squid. Do not order. The amount you receive for the price of $13.99 is not with worth it. Just a few measly strips of squid. You'll be left hungry afterwards . I usually love giving mom and pop shops my business if its worth it. All in all the food was lacking. I'd skip this place. 3 stars for the good service .
