I swear I'm no neatnik, but I'm taking a point off for cleanliness - the bathroom, the trash bin's swinging door - not so good. Awesome burgers!! Tried this place for the first time today and it was well worth it! We ordered the double cheeseburger, bacon burger, french fries and curly fries totaling $20. Burgers are pretty big and juicy. We will definitely be returning to try all their other burgers and shakes. Took a star off for the cashier taking the orders. The food: the grand junction and curly fries. The fries were nice and crunchy. The burger was good but did not completely blow me away. I think the true gem here was the pastrami that came with the burger. It was nice and juicy, I think I would of perfered just a mound of pastrami instead of the burger. I went here about a year ago and had the pastrami which was PHENOMENAL. Yesterday I went and had the french dip. NOT PHENOMENAL. It was a pile of dry, weirdly colored meat on a standard white bun. I didnt expect a place like this to be in South Sacramento, but its presence was a very pleasant surprise. The food here is fantastic. I ordered the giant junction for about 8 or 9 dollars and some curly fries for about 3. The burger was very large and there was plenty of flavor to go around. We've been looking for a good, not pre-fab, burger for a long time that can stand up to being take out and not eaten on site. After reading the reviews for Burger Junction on Yelp, we decided to give it a try. We had the giant junction, the kids hamburger meal, and fried zucchini and mushrooms. The burgers were great! We're not fans of thousand island style sauce on a burger, but we wanted to try it as-is. Next time we'll have it without the sauce, but they don't over do the sauce and it did not overwhelm the whole burger. The fried goods were all good, and we appreciated that they were not loaded with salt. We're looking forward to going back again and trying some of the other menu items like the french dip and hot dogs. First impressions count folks, and when I see a big ol' bin of bottles of beer on ice up to the bottlecaps my mouth is watering and I'm wishing I am dining in! read more

So I constantly crave chili cheese fries. Not the chili cheese fries that have grated cheese on top and definitely not the chili cheese fries that have a slice of Krafts singles on top. No, I want chili cheese fries doused in that good ol cheddar cheese sauce/ liquid cheese/ nacho cheese/ cheese wiz!!! You know what I'm talking about. One word for the food here: Wow. Real charbroiled burgers (and chicken) with fresh produce on an awesome toasted bun. I found this place by searching "Nearby" on Yelp for iPhone, and it did not disappoint. I tend to compare to-go style burger joints to In-n-Out when it comes to patty and produce freshness. I have to say this place delivers on both, AND has a killer bun that's exclusive to the Junction (I'm 90% sure it's exclusive anyway). I used the wooden booster seat for my 2 year old today...when I picked it up to move it, I could feel the grease seeping out of the wood like an old rifle stock that wasn't properly cleaned of the WW2 era preserving grease they used to cover them in for long term storage... A little gross, but I almost started laughing because it is kind of a weird little place, but dang is the food awesome. Been there 4 or so times now (had 4 different sandwiches/burgers) and it never ceases to impress. Love taking my kids there, they will eat pretty much the entire menu without complaint which is kind of a big deal. If you're a parent you know what I mean. Had the teriyaki chicken sandwich yesterday, was amazing! The pickles and flavors had me thinking of Texas BBQ I had when I was in Austin on business. The pickles especially...pickles and onions are paired with strange things in Texas BBQ, but it seems to work, just like they are on the teriyaki chicken sandwich at the burger junction... The Best Burger I ever had, hands down. This is my all time favorite place for a burger. I took my wife there on our first date and our 5th anniversary. Almost every time I am there I get the same thing, a Jr Cheeseburger add Avocado w/ a small Drink & Small Fry. The shakes are delicious, the fries are perfect, and the burger is phenomenal. Purchased 3 burgers and 3 large fries..$35.00 wasted. The burgers had no seasoning and my butger was missing the bacon. When I called to let management know the owner said in 27 years I was his first complaint. He said if you want seasoning you gave to tell them or it wobt get seasoning. Then when i told him there was very little pastrami on my mans burger he said he's never heard this complaint before. the owner said he owes me a bacon burger on the house. I live only a few minutes from this place but I never went in until today. From what I heard this is supposed to have the classic burger dinner feel and it does. The people there was really nice and the food came out at a reasonable time. I got the 1/2lb burger with pastrami. The pastrami was a nice touch. The patty was cooked well down but it still had a lot of juice in it and it also had a flame broil taste. Overall the burger was really good except the fact that it was extremely greasy. I know a burger is no salad but this was the most grease burger I ever had. After I opened the wrapper, the bread was dripping in grease. I had to drain it before I took a bite.
