Reno garbage I went this place yesterday, and the staff and owner are terrible. How hard is it to get a medium burger? If you cannot get the temperatures right on burgers, don't offer them. First time I asked for medium, I get well done. The second attempt, I get rare. I go into the store, which is disgusting to say the least, and explain to the cashier that I had been through the drive through twice and got the same result, I was told that I was Reno trash, and didn't understand what proper meat temperature was. I know blood is raw, and well done is dry with no pink, so I know what I like. You people are so disrespectful to your customers. I really am baffled by your attitudes. I asked to speak to the owner, and was told that that was his stance on customer complaints too. Will never come back. read more

After reading some of the reviews I was wondering if we ate at the same place. Our Burgers were done to a "T" meat was favorable and cooked just right. And I had a first, a bun that didn't fall apart and never Got soggy. One more surprise, for the first time in a few years I ate the whole thing no leftovers. Most Of the past so-called burgers over half of them went in the garbage. Fries were great as long as they were hot. As for fries, no fries last long if they aren't cooked in Lard. I still have memories of lard cooked Fries covered with Garlic salt. As for the price it ain't Burger king folks. Cheesecake factory's Kobe Burger Twelve bucks. Will I go back, a big yes every time I'm forced to go to California. Here is a thought, open In Boise Idaho, heck you could even have a Bronco Burger. read more

I had a craving for a gyro, but being no where near a decent Greek joint later on a weekday night, I Yelped and this came up for their gyro burger. I headed out for the drive through, ordered the gyro burger, cheeseburger slider, and small order of garlic fries. The wait was longer than a typical fast food place, but really, this isn't a typical fast food place so I had no issues there. The kid in the drive through was super nice and helpful as well. When I got the food home, the fries were a little soggy, but that is the only complaint that I have. The small sized order was actually huge and more than enough for two of us to share. The burger was so very, very good. The lamb patty was super juicy, the toppings were in just the right amounts to really taste each and every one without anything overpowering the next, and the toasted bun was a great touch. The garlic fries, despite the sogginess, were also really yummy, with a ton of real, chopped garlic on top. My mom had the cheeseburger slider, and while I didn't try it myself, she loved it. If I could justify eating burgers more often (curse trying to be healthy!) I would come here all the time. I can't wait to go back and try the Italian Stallion...a burger with mortadella on it?! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! NEVER GO HERE!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!! I haven't even eaten my food and I'm already disgusted by the price. $25.20 for two burgers, two fries, and two sodas. Due to the price I will never go back no matter how good my burger is. I just ate my burger and all I can say is WOW! My burger was terrible. I cannot believe they would use shredded lettuce. In my opinion shredded lettuce is what you would get on top of a really gross cafeteria burger you bought at some crappy community college.They asked me if I wanted caramelized onions so I said yes. Not sure how much I paid for the onions but they were soggy and there was only two or three small pieces on top of my nasty shredded lettuce. My fries were even worse than my burger. My fries were burnt, cold, and soggy. They also serve Pepsi products and not Coke. If I could give negative stars I would. I am amazed that they could open a place in the same building that was even worse than Tahoe Burger. That building must be cursed or something. read more

This place used to be good. Third time in a row they have completely ruined my order. Today i got a small order of sweet potatoe fries instead of a large regular fry and a burger wrapped in lettuce with thousand island sauce instead of a veggie burger without thousand island. This was my favorite burger place in town. The food is phenomenal, and continues to be. Their service is typically fantastic.. Until my experience tonight... My opinion has changed due to their incredibly slow drive-thru and incomplete order I received tonight. I've always known it usually takes upwards up 15-20 minutes from order-to-pickup window, so didn't mind too much when I pulled up tonight.. But when two staff members delivered my order to the window together, I presumed they had not only checked but double-checked my order. But alas, NO. And did I follow my instinct to check the bag? Again, a resounding NO. Did I proceed to drive the 5 miles all the way home with said incomplete order? YES. Crappola. After driving 3+ hours today to and from work and to and from my daughter's daycare, on wet and scary roadways, I'd hoped to pick up a "quick" burger dinner and go home to call it a night... Instead, I called the restaurant (granted, I was honestly flustered and trite to the staff person that answered) as I climbed my pregnant ass back into my car and headed back to the restaurant, and then INTO the restaurant to retrieve my toddler's tiny, simple burger slider, without so much as an "I'm sorry for the inconvenience." The food truck version of the Burger Me restaurants in northwest Reno and Truckee, California serves a simplified menu featuring the all-natural and locally-sourced ingredients the parent company is known for. My wife ordered the gyro burger ($10), consisting of a one-third-pound lamb patty topped with mixed greens, feta cheese and tzatziki sauce all on a white or wheat bun (she chose white). A side of sweet potato fries completed the meal, which was pretty darn tasty. I'm not a huge fan of sweet potato anything, but as non-potato fries go these were pretty good. This place gets a 5 for food, but only a 1 or 2 for service. So I'm averaging it out to a 3. As far as the food goes, it's by far one of the best burgers and fries in town. Everything is good quality and tastes great. Side note: I'm personally not a fan of the gluten free bun (it was really dry) so I'll go lettuce wrapped next time. Ok, so the service. I've been twice in 2 weeks and had major service snafu's both times. The first time I attempted to go through the drive through as I had a napping toddler in the car and didn't want to wake her to get out. I sat at the drive through for several minutes before realizing that I wasn't going to get helped. I went inside and asked if the drive through was working fine and was informed that they forgot to turn it on. No apology or acknowledgment that it was inconvenient to have to bring my daughter in. I went in last night and the girl at the counter stood in front of me to have a personal conversation on her cell phone. When I was visibly annoyed, another gentlemen stepped in to help. When I got my food, they'd forgotten my shake and my daughters drink. When I went up to ask that this be fixed, I was told "Sure, we'll bring it out to you." After I took my seat, they called me up to get it myself. I would say the thing that's holding this back from being really excellent is attention to detail, and kind of a lax attitude about customer service. Being ignored and having people forget your stuff is what makes people try other establishments where they're treated better. read more

You are not in Truckee, the tourist tax while exorbitant is acceptable up there, but in Reno you are serving food to locals and to tax them like this is not just absurd.. it screams arrogance and greed.... I will NEVER eat here again, the food is ok but the good of it is lost cuz your sitting there kicking yourself for being such a sucker. I absolutely love this place! The food is fantastic and the service is as good as it gets! If I had to choose one thing they could improve, it would be ONE employee that they have. I've only ever seen guys working here, but occasionally there is a female who works. I've been here plenty of times to know that there is a shpeal they give you when you get to the drive thru. Every time her voice comes through the drive thru speaker, I cringe. Usually, you ask for a cheeseburger, and the voice on the other side asks you what kind of bread, what kind of cheese, and if you want any of the toppings that it usually comes with. With her, you ask for a cheeseburger and she replies "ok." It's almost as if you have to know exactly what you're ordering in order to get what you want or else you'll get something you didn't know came with your order. When you get to the window, they usually talk to you, give you your receipt and you wait for you food. With her, it takes her about 5 minutes to even get to the window, because she's normally on her phone (at least she has been the last 4 times I've gotten her), then she sometimes doesn't tell you your total, gives you your receipt and walks away. Now, I understand that you get busy and may not be able to stay at the window the entire time, but I've seen her stand there on her phone, while my food sits on the corner of the counter just waiting. The past few times, a cook/chef has actually brought the food to the drive thru window because she's occupied by her phone. It may seem petty, but she has terrible customer service. I love this place, and I love the guys that work there, but when it comes to the one female that works there...I'd rather go somewhere else if I see her at the drive thru. read more

Any place that does lettuce wraps is a friend of mine! I always get the turkey burger lettuce wrap and it's amazing! It's so easy to dry out a turkey burger but this place does it perfectly. I'm really picky about burgers, and having Celiac disease I rarely get to eat one with a bun. My first reaction to walking inside was the Arcade size Pacman game they had and I knew it was a good sign. There was a little bit of a line but the guy behind the counter was responding to each customer with answers to their questions so that I pretty much knew what I wanted when he got to me. He gave me a few tips for ordering the cheapest way (combo if ordering a drink) a la Carte if not. Then came right out pretty quickly with my shakes right to my table. About 5 minutes later he personally brought out my To Go order and addressed me by name (he actually remembered) then asked if he could get me any condiments or anything else. As for the food, there's a reason they are in the top 10 burgers in the USA. And around $10 for a gourmet 1/2 pound burger that's ground right there of premium meat, lamb, chicken,etc.. These burgers would be really good if someone figured out how to use salt and pepper. Also, the question of medium rare or medium when ordering is not really accurate as to how they are cooked by the kitchen. Medium rare seems to mean quite rare, and medium means cooked into oblivion. So many people have talked about how good this place is. I don't know if it's only the Truckee location, or (judging by recent reviews) they have just gone downhill. read more

Burgers where good. I would of given more stars. Except we witnessed that the cooks were eating while cooking and then touching their faces. Restaurants need to remember that when the kitchens are open to the dinning room people are watching. I know this happens in other restaurant that have kitchens in back. But I don't want to see it. This place has huge potential and could be a fantastic burger place. The only thing wrong is it's poorly managed. When we walked in the restaurant was only half or less full and a couple of drivers in the drive in. The working force quickly updated us that they had a 40 minute wait for food and if we wanted to still order. We had no rush to get anywhere and so decided to try the place. So we started to order and they stopped and said are you sure you want to wait 40 minutes. We said yes and please take our order. While my family was ordering, I noticed that all the employees in the kitchen had zero good restaurant practices/food safety. Everyone is allowed in enter the kitchen, no matter where they have been in the restaurant. Clothes are filthy, no hairnets, hats and many employees not wearing gloves during handling of food. The burger cook set 2 burgers on the corner of the stove . Unfortunately this place has a lot of improvements to be made or they will eventually will shut the doors due to very poor management I have been in the food making/manufacturing biz for 24 years and have seen way to many opportunities at this place to ever frequent again without major improvements from the ownership! read more

Eh, I'm not very impressed at all. My bison burger was beyond dry, along with my bun. We waited in the drive thru for about 30 minutes, which was fine BUT we get all the way up to the window and then they let me know, they don't have any gluten free buns for my wife's burger. . So she got a dry hockey puck in some lettuce. They still charged me for the bun though. . It was an all around bust. I had higher hopes with all the good reviews, but it was just an F-. Just drive to Bully's or In & Out. Scratch it off the list, bummer. read more

I stopped by and had a Buffalo BBQ Burger the other day. It was AMAZING! This is a high-end burger joint that serves hot dogs, beers, and malts as well. They don't shy away from spicy (something many restaurants do out of fear of sensitive pallets), and they have options for buns and doneness as well. The inside is clean and decorated in a Tahoe style with quality details everywhere, they even have a cool arcade! This place is truly terrific and will be on my regular visit list every time I'm in the area. You should definitely check it out. read more

My husband said he felt like a burger. Burger Me was a great decision. I had the Greek burger with a lamb patty. Yummmmmmm. He had a plain Jane cheese burger that was fresh and delicious. Our kids had kids meals that were VERY WELL priced. Very good quality food. Try it. read more

I find this to be a very overrated place. I decided to try them after driving past them so many times. First thing I noticed was the price, high for burgers. But hey, I enjoy gourmet burgers and the price did not scare me. Rather, it excited me. I was ready for a great burger. What I got was very disappointing. My cheeseburger was basically fast food quality. The fries were plain and the onion rings were over cooked. Next time, I think I'll keep on driving to 5 guys. There, I don't mind the higher prices. On top of the mediocre burger, we got 4 packets of ketchup with our to go order consisting of 3 burgers, fries and onion rings. So on top of charging premium charges for a plain burger, they are going to go cheap on the condiments? I will not be returning. I'm pretty sure this places survives because of the limited options in NW Reno. read more
