I love that this is a local place that has weathered a pandemic and an economic collapse and is still in business. It is a testament to how good their food is. It shows that this was born from a place of love for great food. I love the Southwest Turkey Burger, sometimes I get it with a beef patty instead of Turkey. The bacon, green chiles, and chipotle mayo take it to another level of artisan burger! The sweet potato fries are amazing as well. Crispy on the outside, tender inside, and packed with flavor. Good little burger place at the beginning of cute old town truckee. You must pay for parking in front seven days a week. You go in and order at the counter. There is a self serve drink station. There were some outside tables and inside tables. The food was well prepared. Bison burger was lean and delicious, well seasoned on a fresh bun with fresh ingredients. My only wish is that they put more of the delicious Cole slaw on it. Homemade fresh onion rings were superb. Fries very good and crispy. Service was cheerful and efficient. Ambience is what you'd expect for a burger place. Prices are not cheap but the meats are quality. I like how they have a great variety so you can go with friends who may not like burgers or meat and everyone still gets a delicious meal. They do not rush you along so you are free to enjoy your meal with friends. I love BurgerMe. I've had the Fish Sando a bunch of times and it never disappoints. The breading is amazing and so is the coleslaw and house made tartar sauce. I always get it with extra tartar sauce. Their onion rings are huge and crispy. It's great with their ranch dressing. Yes, they have good ranch. Their fries are great too. I've also tried the Big Dippa and it was good, but the roast beef is deli meat and I never got it again. The Au Jus that came with it is good too and I loved the horseradish. The Lamb Gyro Burger is also a good choice. I got it with extra Tzatziki Sauce and I love that the Gyro Burger has feta cheese. I've even had the Italian Stallion (which was featured on Triple D) but it's no longer on the menu. Sad, because it was really different than any burger I've had. You order at the cash register and they bring the food out to you. If you need anything, they will bring it to you. Overall, they provide good service. The place is busy and typically, we always eat at the tables outside, where it is not as crowded. Also, the hand scooped ice cream shakes are great too. Burger Me was recommended to us by our neighbor. We found the restaurant towards the end of the downtown area. My husband and I stopped by for lunch around 11:45 on a Thursday. It was a chill restaurant that looked a bit modern compared to the other local establishments. Appreciated the big outdoor patio. The place was considerably busy. Nearly all the tables were occupied, but a family kindly let us share their table with them. Overall customer service was great. The staff was friendly, and the food came out in a timely manner. Kudos to one of the employees who kept tabs on the horseradish for me. They ran out of it, so he promised that he'd give me a side of the horseradish after it was freshly made. He really came through on it, even when I was almost done eating! My husband ordered the Patty Melt and the Big Dippa. I had a half of the patty melt, which made me feel stuffed. It was so rich but also on the saltier side. Their homemade sauerkraut was delicious. I had a couple of bites of the Big Dippa, and I enjoyed it as well. Nicely fried onion strings. Savory au jus. Glad I had the opportunity to try a fresh batch of horseradish, which was amazing! I'm a huge fan of horseradish, but my husband would've also enjoyed it because it wasn't super spicy and overly pungent. Last but not least, the garlic fries were outstanding. The kids ordered from the kids menu, great cheeseburger and meh chicken nuggets (small with too much breading making them dry). The onion rings and fries were crispy, but nothing special. The service was outstanding. We thought we ordered onion rings and asked an employee about it. He checked our receipt and we hadn't been charged for them. He said he'd start an order for us and about 5 mins later brought us some onion rings. He had a receipt with a QR code on it so we could pay with a phone. Stopped by this burger joint after seeing some positive reviews. Food did not disappoint! I loved the assortment of burger items and meats- we were close to trying the bison burger but ended up just getting a patty melt, cowboy burger, and fish sando. All were pretty good for the price (~$15 each) and well portioned. Staff were also friendly and accommodating with allergies! The interior feels semi modern but still has an old diner feel with the red booth seats and arcade games. There is also fairly convenient street parking since it seems near the downtown. Burger Me is a solid spot in Downtown Truckee in a very walkable area where you can get a reliably good burger. It's an order at the counter place and seating is limited (especially when it's winter and the patio is not in use), so be prepared to stand in a long line if you don't get here early. We must have timed it right because when we arrived it wasn't crowded at all, but towards the end of our meal we had people lurking over us to snag our table and it was getting pretty loud inside. I was shocked to learn that they not only carried the standard vegan option of a Beyond Burger, but that they also had a house-made veggie burger that was also vegan. Yes! I had to have it, of course, and there were several bun options. You can't go wrong with a pretzel bun in my opinion, so I went with that. The burger was actually pretty good and I would definitely stop in for it again. The garlic fries sans parmesan were decent and paired well with the stout they had on tap, which was also good. The hamburger patty tastes a little like a pre-formed patty made from frozen though. Seriously tastes like a cafeteria burger. However, the service is extremely lacking. I ordered online and stood there at the counter for several minutes when I was notified my food was ready (it was behind the counter). The young boy even stood at the cash register and did not even greet me or make eye contact while I was literally standing in front of him for minutes. A brunette lady walked up to the counter and ignored me as well, and gave me a half assed apology when I addressed my concern. UNACCEPTABLE. I tipped, and I regret it. You did NOT earn a tip for good service. Unfortunate, because I like the food enough (bison burger and fries), but will think twice about coming back here, and especially not for a gross cafeteria burger. We love this place and always go everytime we're in the area( we live 3 hrs away). Everyone here is always so welcoming and friendly! Now for a little constructive criticism ...I always order the fish Sando fried because it's my fav! but the last two times I got it, instead of the purple cabbage slaw, it's got regular bagged white cabbage slaw with carrots and I just wanna say PLEASE go back to the purple cabbage guys! it was so much more flavorful! We were at the Coachland RV Resort and we decided to try some local Truckee fare. The establishment is very quaint and a very simple menu. My wife and I both got burgers (imagine that). We ordered a large onion ring order and two milkshakes. My wife liked the flavor of her burger, but it was dry. Mine on the other hand was perfect. The onion rings were big and had a great batter on them. The milkshakes were just like you'd make them at home. Simple ingredients and they were bomb. We will definitely be back next year. read more

Have been to Burger Me a couple times during visits to Truckee and always good food and a great dining experience. First visit I enjoyed a vegan burger to which I kept asking the staff, "Are you sure this is not beef?" Lol it was awesome! Shared some hot, yummy fries with friend and enjoyed the vibe of both tourists/visitors and local residents. My husband and I visited today 8/7/22, and had the Train Wreck, Cowboy and half/half (French fries/onion rings). Dylan took our order and he was super personable and helpful as we couldn't decide what to order...everything sounded amazing! Shortly thereafter, Dylan brought us our food, cooked to order and the burger chef cut our burgers in half (they are quite big, folks) per our request which was so nice. Jacob had on thee coolest watermelon shirt and shared his favorite Burger Me milkshake blends with us. I loved it. The menu was so varied it never got boring. We just got Burger Me for dinner. I had an overly complicated order. My order was executed to perfection. I got a blacked chicken burger my partner got a Cowboy burger. I have found it to be rare that a restaurant cooks your burger to the desired temperature but, this burger is cooked perfectly medium rare. Employees were very kind and professional. It's a slay ya'll. Reasonably priced excellent quality great attention to detail. 10/10 will continue to let them Burger Me at least once a week. read more

A solid spot on the main strip in Truckee for a kid friendly, casual meal. It's counter service and staff are all really nice. The place is small, but can pack it in. They have some namesake burger/sandwiches or you can customize your own. They have everything from fish, chicken, veggie to bison, elk and good old fashioned beef. We went with the elk burger, kids burger meal and the fish sandwich. All of it was quite good. I'd say the protein on the fish sandwich was a bit slight and was more bready, just one small filet, but I get it. But regardless of size, it was tasty, with that crunch purple cabbage slaw. The kids burger is small, think slider. So best for a younger child vs hungry older one. It was perfect for my 5 year old who very rarely finishes anything and ate this one up. They did say they'd text me when it was ready. I didn't get a text until about a week later! :) HA. Not a big deal, more of an FYI that I wouldn't rely on the text to be accurate. She was happy to accommodate my order even thought it was so close to closing time (Friday 8:50pm). I ordered the NV Elk burger with no substitutes with a side of onion rings and fries. The Elk burger was the best burger I have had in while... and I have been on a burger kick lately (smash burgers are usually my go to). The burger patty had really excellent flavor and one seasoned to perfection. The burger patty was cooked perfectly also. This place has a cool interior and was still popping just before closing.
