This cute coffee shop was easy to find. The selections of coffee and other beverages were plenty. The prices were typical of local coffee shops. There are a lot of sitting options; I love the outlets at every seat inside the shop. I had the vanilla latte and it was delicious. There were food items as well, but I didn't have an appetite then. I would definitely recommend it and the 1st Thursday of every month there's a farmer's market right across the street. One drawback: the free wifi code should be posted somewhere customers can see. read more

AMAZING! Went here during a random stop in Burien and found a treasure! Located in the quaint downtown area, this coffee shop has a curated selection of wine and beer! My group had ordered a variety of different drinks and they were all superb, specifically the iced chai tea latte and one of the weekly mocha specials. It was also a very welcomed surprise that we received free drinks in celebration of Juneteenth. I will definitely be returning to try their other creations! Thank you!!!! read more

Smooth coffee, friendly faces, and fast service. It was full on a Thursday morning, but they delivered our drinks quickly. I'm a fan of everyone offering hemp milk now, it's my new fave thanks to Rounds Bakery in Reno. I may come back to buy a beans to take home, but this is the first stop in my Seattle coffee adventure . It's really close to our Air Bnb so a repeat visit is likely. They had some pastries for sale that also looked amazing, and the prices were good. I paid $10.45 for a large latte and a medium mocha with vanilla syrup (the kids). This is truly an outstanding establishment. They make incredible drinks, and there are so many to name. The coffee is excellent. The chai is remarkable. The in-house syrups and unique seasonal drinks continually stand out. Their iced tea+toasted lemonade is unmatched, and one of the reasons I keep coming back again and again. They are now offering food, and the quiche and frittata are unbelivably fresh and delicious. Not to mention their selection of natural wines is extensive, and the staff has been incredibly helpful to recommend what are now some of my favorite wines. Clearly I could go on and on! Not to mention the owners, and the entire staff are truly above and beyond when it comes to service, and engagement with guests and the community. Cute little spot, great coffee, friendly staff and interesting drink specials. I tried the hazelnut latte which was creamy and warm and my husband had the mapleine mocha, which he really enjoyed. They also have a range of wines, mead, beers and other items for sale and they have cider and beer on tap. We'll be back to try out some additional things soon! read more

Great beer, wine, cider selection. I ordered the butterscotch latte. OMG - seriously the best latte I have had since moving to Seattle area. Creamy, sweet, burnt sugar and it reminded me of wurthers original candies mixed with coffee. The staff are so nice. There is a back patio for nice days. Plenty of parking nearby and near the farmers market. I cant wait to try their other seasonal lattes and get one to go to Seahurst. read more

Burien Press is a great example of urban renewal: tucked in an unassuming old strip of shops, Burien's merchants are really getting it right in general. Burien Press just happens to be particularly sharp with its light, retro 60's inspired interior and sweet deck out back. What seems to have started out as a cute play on words (coffee press/printing press) isn't so applicable anymore. You used to be able to buy magazines and journals with the Burien Press logo for $12...but they seem to be depleting their stock and don't sell mags anymore (though they have a few choice publications for perusal). The espresso is solid. They have a small but decent selection of baked goods. They also serve gelato from Bottega Italiana. However, I would avoid the sandwiches - with Aussie Hand Pies next door and other great food nearby - I wouldn't bother with the "seen better days" sandwich selections here. This is a great place to get your wi-fi on, and you will find folks doing so any time you go in. Definitely worth a stop for a cuppa if you're cruising Burien. read more

Great tea latte with a cozy atmosphere for working. I came here during a weekday and was surprised how busy it was (thought everyone would be at the office). Most people were on their laptops and working, so it wasn't very loud in there. A nice alternative to chatty cafes. Drinks came out quickly. The table wasn't wiped down before we got there, so we wiped it down ourselves. Just a minor negative thing. Parking is very easy with a ton of spots on both sides of the street that don't require parallel parking. read more

First time I went into the shop was opening weekend. I fell in love then, and I still am. I visit at least once a week and always have a great experience. Most of the baristas recognize me when I come in, a few of them even know my drink. Not a coffee drinker, but a Chai aficionado and don't know anywhere with a better cup of it. Comparable, maybe.. but better... no way! Baked goods always full and fresh, food is a little limited, wish they had some more sandwiches or salads that reflected the style of the shop vs quick tossed togetherness. Still the best coffee in Burien, hands down. The cardamom latte is delicious and available year round (but not always on the menu, you gotta ask for it)! The owners are really great people doing right by the community both with their food and drink offerings as well as their engagement in the local arts and other communities. Recently, they've added a really excellent beer program to their offerings, staying open until 9pm Wednesday-Saturday. The people involved with curating their list clearly love beer and are engaged in the local and regional beer scenes, able to get kegs from some hard to find local favorites like Holy Mountain and Mirage in addition to taking regular trips down to Portland to pick up new stuff from Great Notion as well. Highly recommend coming in for a pint or more. Even more recently, they just launched a wine program as well, focusing on natural wines specifically. Really great and interesting stuff all around, and we can't wait for others to catch on to all the great new stuff happening at Burien Press. Burien has been lacking in consistently great beer offerings (I know there are some other options for beers near by, but they all pale in comparison for a multitude of reasons) for years and what they're doing at BP is such a welcome addition to the area. read more

Burien Press is the ideal neighborhood coffee shop. This place feels like old Seattle: personable, unique, a little esoteric, but totally comfortable with what it is. The folks who run BP have an amazing selection and one can tell they know their stuff. Unlike other places, however, BP never feels pretentious or preciously hip. They understand their market and go out of their way to welcome folks in as neighbors and friends. Before COVID, BP was a great place to meet friends for a latte and good conversation. Stopped here on a whim as I was passing through town and man I'm so glad I did! This coffee shop is super cute and modern, with adequate seating, lots of daylight, funky art on the walls, and cool music. The baristas were super friendly and the coffee is great. They have "drink and eat in" options in large mugs and ceramic plates which I love. They also have Hemp milk which is always a bonus in my book. They have a glass case of fantastic goodies like cookies, doughnuts, bagels, and assorted breads, and they also offer some basic sandwiches and wraps. Their teas are organic and local.
