We came into Burtons this past weekend and will definitely be back! It was busy, we were able to grab seats at the bar. Hailey was wonderful! Very attentive and made me one of the best old fashions Ive had outside of the city. We had a few appetizers to share, the Tsos cauliflower and the spring rolls were the best. Service was good. Ordered fish tacos, and they were nothing like the photos seen here. Very little fish, hidden under lots of toppings like pickled onions. Way overpriced. $18 for two skimpy tacos plus a side. I was hungry when I left, which has never happened to me when I've eaten at Burtons before. read more

Worst rewards program of any restaurant. They give you rewards that they then limit, when you can use them, how you can use them and if they screw up your meal and comp you something, you cannot use any rewards. More over when you ask for a manager they tell you Too Bad. We will never dine there again, they don'tr care at all about customer service read more

We were in the area and decided to try something new other than Chick-Fil-A. FOOD: We started off with the Signature Wings (Maple Sriracha). I was concerned the sriracha was going to overpower the flavor but it turns out to be more like a BBQ sauce flavor. The wings were perfect. Absolutely juicy and flavorful. 10/10 would recommend. We got the Short Rib Grilled Cheese with sweet potato fries and the Classic Burger with Bacon and Parmesan/Rosemary Fries. The short rib sandwich was good, but everything about it was tiny. It was like a half order of a sandwich with a couple of sweet potato fries. I was still hungry after that. We also ordered the classic cheese burger with bacon and parmesan/rosemary fries. The burger itself was good, like mentioned on the menu...just a classic cheeseburger. The bacon was overcooked but other than that its okay. SERVICE: Our server's name was Holden. He was attentive and gave us more information when I asked about the flavor of maple sriracha. He was spot on when describing the sauce for our wings. Service was quick when handling orders and dropping off the check. Our entrees did take some time to come out but I'm pretty sure thats not the servers fault. Definitely would come back again for those wings! Only knocked off a star because of the overcooked bacon, and the time it took for our sandwiches to come out, again I believe it wasn't our servers fault! read more

We are at the restaurant now. Service is very slow. The waitress asked us multiple times if we wanted appetizers, the first time we said NO! I guess she didn't get it. Didn't like it here. Food was not good and cold, selection is limited and way overpriced and we waited over an hour for food when only 4 other customers were in the entire place. If I wanted to spend that kind of money I'd go to Legal Seafood. Very disappointed. Don't see this place lasting here ***updated 6/2019*** Frank the manger saw my post and reached out in hopes of us giving it another try here and I wanted to post my updated review. I came in to buy a few gift cards this week and the girl up front was so nice but seemed overwhelmed. When I asked for an itemized bill, she sighed and acted like it was suchhhhh a big deal. I ended up ordering 5 items for takeout along with my gift cards... they said it'd be quick because they weren't busy. I waited 45 minutes... FAIR, but it was longer than she made it seem it would be... I leave and get home and one ENTREE wasn't in there and an appetizer was missing! so frustrating. I'm 9 months pregnant and have a two year old at home so I wasn't going to drive all the way back. the food I actually took home was good. another positive is they gave me water while I waited... which isn't a big deal but it was nice of her to offer. food was good so I might be back but I wouldn't do take out ever again. read more

I usually enjoy the experience at any Burton's that I stop in at, however, this location is the exception. The service is just not good here and the food is not up to standard. The ribeye steak lacked basic seasoning and had no flavor. The broccoli side was overcooked, mushy and drowning in butter. The bartenders are not friendly and make you feel like a burden more than a guest. I won't be back. read more

The food was so-so, agreeable service, but for the high prices, I expected more. The portions were so small and the menu was extremely limited. There is a fine line of having not enough options on a menu and not having too many, and Burtons falls under the not enough options category. First time visit (on Mother's Day) but certainly coming back. Initial service was a little slow and then became very efficient. The food (crab cakes, fish sandwich, maxx burger and grilled cheese brisket) and Sun Splash Sangria carried the stars. The pickled onions and pickles all seemed homemade - although we didn't ask. Delicious flavors with a touch of heat really brought each of our dishes together. We started with the calamari and weren't disappointed. Nice addition to the Route 9 options. Went to an early dinner on a Sunday night after shopping for the afternoon. My party was seated immediately and all workers were wearing masks and continuously sanitizing door knobs and easily touched furniture. I had the fish sandwich and it was SO GOOD. I opted for no Sriracha or picked onions, and it was so delicious. Others in my party had the fish tacos, American burger, and maple chicken. They all said theirs were delicious. We did have to look at the menu and pay by scanning QR codes. We were tech savvy enough to do it, but I wondered if there were physical menus and payment options for non techy patrons. Will never be back. Everything on the menu is 2-3 dollars more than what the menu says so ended up spending 6 more dollars than we thought. We were one of 3 parties in the entire restaurant at opening and spent an hour and fifty minutes for two appetizers and one entree because our waitress decided to disappear for long stretches of time including 20 minutes with my credit card so will be sure to watch my account for it being cloned. Fantastic customer service! I placed an order through door dash and unfortunately one of my meals was left off. I called the restaurant who mentioned I had to contact the vendor. The vendor refunded my meal but this didn't solve the problem that someone in my family still didn't have a meal. The restaurant manager Holly called me back to confirm everything was resolved. I let them know I was all set and refunded for my order. This still didn't sit right with them that I was still missing a meal. Food 4. Price 3. Service 2 It's difficult, and perhaps unfair, to base a review on one experience. And this was our first time to Burton's, so YMMV. Only a 20 min wait at 6 PM on a Sat. But the place was hopping. They have text-based waitlists, so we were informed when our table was ready. But I got the same "Your table is ready" text three times after we'd already sat down. And still once more after I went to the hostess station to tell them what was going on and they assured me it would stop. The food was average-to-good. The house salad was exceptionally good. And my wife's brisket grilled cheese was terrific. My filet was a tad overdone (I'd ordered it medium rare) but still tender. The twice baked potato was... well... a potato. A little cheese on top and a few pieces of what I presume were chives. Nothing to write home about. Which brings me to price. The grilled cheese and fries was $19, a little pricey for me but my wife said it was worth the money. My filet, on the other hand was disappointedly not worth the $30 for the 6 oz portion. It didn't help that the small cut of meat - probably 4 oz or less after cooking - and the baked potato looked ridiculously small on the large white plate they sat on. I mean, even a handful of some other veg, broccoli, rice, anything would have improved the value and presentation. The 9 oz cut is $37 but I fear it wouldn't have been much better. Add one glass of wine and the total came to just under $80 for two people. Lots of alternatives in the area where you'd get better value for that money. However, it was our server, or rather lack thereof, that was the most unfortunate experience of the evening. It took a while for him to first show up, at which point we were ready to order everything. He never came back to the table until we asked for the check. The food was promptly brought out by runners, but our server spent more time in the back than he did at the tables. No stopping by to see how our food was or if we needed a refresh on our drinks. This alone will prevent us from coming back. Again, this was a single visit, and maybe the service is better with other servers on other nights, but the combination of poor value and bad service doesn't warrant a return visit from us. read more

My lovely wife and I had just got off the Logan Express in Framingham. We were tired ,weary and hungry so I pulled up my Yelp app and discovered this restaurant. Burtons Grill and Bar.We saw that it was very near and had a four star rating.So we decided to give this place a try after all there was 123 reviews from my fellow Yelpers and it still had four stars. That tells me that This place must be good. Well after dining here I can honestly say that place is Awesome! First Let me tell you Burtons has a scratch kitchen, which means everything is cooked from scratch.How cool is that! For appetizers we started with fried real steak and cheese spring rolls.Amazing! Then as for me I am always on the hunt for a great burger so I proceeded to order the Max burger! Wow I was not disappointed at all, as a matter of fact I think this is the Best Burger in the North East! It comes with fried onion rings on it And a special sauce. This Burger was Maxed out and cooked perfect.My wonderful wife has a better taste pallet than mine took one bite and said Wow! That is a Great Burger. I said,I know! I had the fresh cut Parmesan and rosemary fries that Was Outstanding! My wonderful wife had a wonderful not greasy haddock sandwich with sweet potato fries.
