While the ambiance and service are fairly good, the (warm) lobster roll dinner I ordered last nite was beyond pathetic: the roll was just a hot dog roll and the lobster was seasoned (awful) so much that detracted from the usual flavor of lobster. The meat was very dry and chewy. To add insult to injury, the amount of lobster was small and the dish cost me $35!!! The cole slaw was in a 2" or so wide tiny dish on the side and the french fries were limp, greasy and tasteless. This dish is $35???? Where is the manager? He/She needs to make sure quality is there for the price. Obviously the manager is not watching this. I am insulted because we paid a ton for this dish and it was less than mediocre. I see another reviewer complained about that dish as well. Maybe there are more negative reviews regarding the lobster roll, I don't know. Do not order this dish. Outrageous rip off! Legal Seafood, even under their newer ownership, still makes a way more delicious, flavorful and burgeoning lobster roll. read more

I used to enjoy coming here until this past Monday, I was sat at a lounge table (by request. Thinking I would've had faster service) I sat for a good 12 minutes before I was greeted and at this point I was already more annoyed than I was before I waited. I love this Burton's location! Couldn't have asked for better service and experience. Also, they handled everything very well as far as COVID; to do with seating parties far enough apart and requiring masks when walking around. Our server was extremely pleasant (apologies for not remembering his name) and accommodating. To start, we ordered the spinach & artichoke dip which was excellent, although I would have preferred it without tomatoes. I ordered the Maxx burger and it was huge, I could barely finish it. Cooked perfectly and juicy. Fries were also great and not soggy. One thing I've always loved about Burton's is their extensive gluten free options. Will be back! read more

I love Burton's Grill specifically for their pasta carbonara. I know I should try other food from their menu but this is literally some of the best pasta I've ever had. It's "orecchiette, applewood smoked bacon, peas, artichokes, alfredo sauce" and then your choice of shrimp ($22.95), steak ($26.95), or chicken ($21.95). I've had both the steak and the chicken versions of the dish and they were both spectacular. I had ordered a side of sweet potato fries as a side ($6) and they came out burnt, so we had them sent back and remade. They were just okay, not worth the price though. The service was very friendly and the restaurant itself was clean and pretty quiet. I liked it a lot actually. I'd definitely come back. read more

This location of Burtons Grill & Bar is located in the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua, NH., so we didn't have an issue with parking during our weekday luncheon visit. Booths line the wall around the large bar with additional tables available in the back. Service was pleasant and responsive. When I inquired about the short rib in their Short Rib Grilled Cheese $17.95 (braised certified angus beef short rib, pickled onions, maple sriracha, Vermont cheddar, griddled ciabatta, red wine jus, fresh cut fries), she praised it as tender, rather than tough... and she was right! A generous portion of the meat too! I subbed sweet potato fries for 95 cents, which were crisp though not quite as sweet as I like. I also sampled my DC's Maple Chicken $14.95 (grilled chicken, applewood smoked bacon, caramelized red onions, arugula, cranberry, maple dijonnaise, griddled ciabatta, fresh cut fries), which was the winner at the table in my book with its moist meat and the contrast of sweet from the cranberry sauce and caramelized onions to the savory. Vegetables were easily subbed for the accompanying fries with no surcharge. They had a number of fresh vegetable options available, in addition to cole slaw and julienned vegetables, so my DC went with the spinach. Ice tea arrived unsweetened, but a variety of sweetener options were available for the asking. We didn't have room for dessert on this visit, but they make their own here and and six options for $6-10 along with the daily special offering for $7. PS - the soft fluffy rolls they started us off with were warm and delicious with their seasoned butter. I feel so bad changing my review, but tonight was just so unacceptable. That small piece of salmon was ten bucks...on top of a $17 salad that was a missing half the ingredients. I reread the menu and had to ask for the ingredients on the side. I got a mai tai (didn't take a photo though) and it was like half an inch of liquid...so I figured I'd get something else and STILL like no substance for $12. I don't leave reviews often but I had to go out of my way to leave a review. Being gluten free it can be really hard to eat out and have an enjoyable meal. This gluten free menu is great. Started out with the focaccia bread with fresh pesto/garlic butter and an olive tapenade 10/10. Then ordered the Mediterranean chicken risotto with pesto butter. This was the top 5 meals I've had in my life. The manager was so kind and came out and gave us a free piece of gluten free cake. The waitress was wonderful so cognizant of our 22 month old and not placing hot food in front of him and just overall a joy. Solid place. I've had the pleasure of eating here 4-5 times in the last year or so and it's consistently high quality. The service is great, with a staff that's friendly and well-versed in the menu. I've had a number of items here, and like everything I've ever had very much. My wife has been equally impressed upon each visit. The restaurant is large, clean, and well managed. We've never had anything to find fault with. Some standouts that I recommend - the calamari, the black bean tostadas, the 'bronzed' salmon, and the wedge salad. Was in New Hampshire for a work trip and had to head to Pheasant Lane. I am from Ohio and if we have Burton's here, I am not aware of them. So this was a new restaurant to try out-- which the Yelp world knows I'm always down for! It's attached to the mall and honestly caught me off guard a little. It's actually really nice in here and more of an upscale vibe than I would have thought given the mall location (mostly mall restaurants to me are like TGIFridays, Red Robin, etc). Our waitress was very nice and explained the menu to us. It was a Friday during Lent so I opted for the scallops with risotto. Turns out they have three different types of risotto so I appreciated the multiple options. They actually had a ton of seafood entrees so it was tough to even narrow it down to the scallops! The iced tea was also so refreshing here-- maybe I was just extra thirsty, but it was so fantastic and just what I needed to break up my work day! The meal was very good as well. Wonderful presentation. It felt more like an upscale dinner than a quick work lunch. Portion size was also perfect-- didn't leave feeling hungry at all but also not overwhelmingly full. Our waitress was also kind enough to refill our drinks even after we had paid. We stayed there for a little bit afterwards and she took note that our glasses were empty even though we had already paid. I always appreciate that because I was a waitress when I was 19 and all I could think was "Damn will these people ever leave my table?!" so when a waitress does that, it really shows they care for the customer (as opposed to me who was just greedy for tips apparently LOL!). Burtons Grill has been a top favorite restaurant amongst my former colleagues, who frequent the North Andover, MA location quite a bit. I had dinner there over a year ago. The food at Burtons Grill is very good, offering creative and tasty dishes. My former boss highly recommends the Beet Salad and Land & Sea (was not on the menu in Nashua). On its Grand Opening Day (August 8, 2011), they were offering 50 percent off all food on the menu. The food is on the pricey side, sandwiches/burgers ($10.95-$14.95) and dinner entrees ($15.95-$29.95). That was definitely enough to bring me in here to try out this new Burtons Grill restaurant & bar. I got out of work early and HAULED A--S from Concord down to South Nashua. I was pretty stoked about having dinner at Burtons Grill without leaving NH! I was at the mall over the weekend and the staff was in training mode while Dick's Sporting Goods next door was celebrating their grand opening. The staff was in the mall over the weekend promoting the menu to shoppers and to stop by for the grand opening. The atmosphere can be described as modern casual with slightly dim lighting inside the restaurant and square bar area (seating at the bar with flatscreen TVs). There's also covered outside patio seating too. I arrived here just after the 3PM opening time around 3:30PM and the place was quite busy, but not hectic busy yet. After I was seated, I already knew what I wanted to order. STARTER: Grilled Stuffed Zucchini ($7.95): long sliced zucchini grilled then rolled with herb cheese and covered with a zesty chunky tomato sauce and parmesan cheese and baked in a small casserole dish, served piping hot. This was like having a homestyle vegatarian Italian casserole. The dinner roll was soft and warm, served with creamy butter. SALAD: Beet Salad ($8.95): chopped red beets in a mustard vinaigrette layered & stacked in circular fashion with goat cheese, roasted sweet onions, candied walnuts, and micro greens. This beet salad was excellent. ENTREE: Bronzed Scallops ($23.95): 6 spicy scallops on top of a creamed corn (with red peppers, applewood smoked bacon & jalepeno) and fresh grilled asparagus. This scallops were spicy and cajun-y and cooked nicely, but a couple scallops had traces of grit sand. DESSERT: Key Lime Pie ($7.95): two layers of cool and sweet (top) & tart (bottom) lime filling in a crunchy graham cracker crust (shell) and topped with whipped cream & lime slice. The bottom custard was extremely tart, good for cleansing the palette. Overall, I had an enjoyable dinner with good service (not fast, but not slow). The waitress made suggestions about the menu and also the staff cleared my dishes and plastic straw wrappers promptly. The food total would've come out to $48.80 before tax. However, since 50 percent was taken off the check, the discounted total for the food was only $26.10 with tax. I can say that I had a VERY enjoyable dinner with the deep discount, hehe. Burtons Grill is a welcome addition to the Pheasant Lane Mall and for NH too! I will definitely be back here again soon for a good lunch with friends. read more

I don't usually give such low ratings for restaurants, as most of them I go to are some sort of satisfactory no matter what dish is served. However this restaurant in particular was just all types of sketchy. For service we were left waiting for around 40-60 minutes just to order our food and only were able to when we directly spoke to a waiter. The waiter that was supposed to serve us was slurring a bit while he spoke, and the whole place smelled overwhelmingly fishy. The food we were served tasted off, and some things advertised were not included. I didn't get any of the "special sauce" on my Maxx Burger, the fries tasted incredibly bland and had an odd tang to them. The dips tasted pretty average but the buffalo dip was a bit bland as well. I would never go back here again, and I don't recommend anyone to come here anyways. That's all, goodnight. read more
