Food was hot on Delivery Mac n cheese was extremely dry and tasteless Burger Patty was soggy The rest of the burger was good with condiments I don't think the bun was an "artisan" bun as described in the menu Fries were good Why is it SO hard to make GOOD FOOD!! Like many places that have been open for a while, the quality of food has gone way down in the last couple of years - yet the prices have gone up. Portions are tiny. Burger was dry, overcooked, and flavorless. Salmon portion small and, again, overcooked and flavorless. However, my son enjoyed his empanada and tiny side of mac and cheese. As far as service, the staff was nice and as helpful as they could be. The ambiance could be nice, but the tables were sticky and had hair on them. Benches were ripped. Overall, I would suggest skipping Bushfire unless they improve the food quality and portion sizes. read more

The salmon plate is perfectly fine. I came here for lunch with some co-workers and I was glad to see some healthy options instead of typically fast food fare. The salmon was grilled perfectly and I opted for double grilled veggies in lieu of rice. The veggies had a great char without being just burnt, sweet and tender. I've had this place delivered in the past and it was pretty good, but I came here last week and food was sub-par at best. The rice was over cooked, the Brussel sprouts were hard. The empeñada was their only saving grace, as it was delicious and it's the only thing I would order here. I came the other night and got a tri tip bowl with sweet potatoes and garlic mashed potatoes. The sweet potatoes were alright, just not done the way I prefer. The pieces were a bit too large. The tri tip was super flavorful and the chimichurri on top was a great addition. The garlic mashed potatoes were super great as well. The mac and cheese was just alright, it was a bit too bready, I think due to the pasta noodles being penne shape. The cheese sauce was great on it though and I loved the breadcrumbs on top! The prices are high but the food is high quality so there you go. They've picked the right neighborhood for this place--La Costa. Lotsa soccer moms and lotsa money. Free concerts on the patio on Friday nights. Good luck getting a seat. Unfortunately, people literally camp out at their tables, even when they're done with their food. To get a patio seat, you've got to swoop in like a vulture if someone stands up. It can be done, though. Pretty much all of the food is very good. The hamburgers are terrific. I had the Argentinean which came with bacon, provolone, bell peppers and chimichurri sauce. It was excellent. The kids' spaghetti in butter was fine but pretty plain. If you want to keep you bill down, don't get the booze. That's where the prices really rocket. This place gets busy and good for them. This is well-prepared, very high quality food. read more

Another place that has gotten worse. I mostly have been ordering to go. Multiple times they have forgotten an item. This necessitates going through the bag to verify everything is there. But in order to provide horrible service, they have caught on to this. The last time there they gave me a bacon cheese burger instead of the veggie burger. Going though the bag I see the wrapped burger and thought all is fine. Getting home I discovered otherwise. I was not able to have anything. I understand you want to have your employees enjoy themselves. They should be watching the sports programs playing loudly on the TV. They should be able to loudly joke amongst themselves. But for some reason management thinks this should take priority over customers being served food they actually ordered. I guess your mileage may vary if you eat there so you retain the ability to keep sending the food back. read more

We came here for dinner tonight and everything was outstanding! We had the salmon bowl, roasted veggies, and the chimichurri tri-tip. The portions are very generous (I have leftovers for lunch tomorrow!) and the food was really flavorful with their seasonings and side sauces. The restaurant was pretty busy but our food was prepared and delivered to our table quickly. We will definitely be back! read more

I've been coming here for years and spent a small fortune. Unfortunately, it keeps getting worse and the attitudes from employees are horrible. Ordered online, showed up to pick up food, nothing. Asked and they had no answer. 30 minutes after it was supposed to raleado, I asked again. His response " I heard you" and he walked away. I'd still be there if I hadn't asked again and again. There were a lot of people waiting for their food. No apologies, no offers or communication from the manager. This place had a unique style of bbq. The brisket was in a tomato sauce over rice. I chose side of Brussels sprouts, which was delicious. The beef empanada had potatoes in it side of chimichurri sauce. My son had the tri tip plate with a side of Mac n cheese and white basmati rice. The tri tip was good quality meat and deliciously flavorful. The burger was ok. The mashed potatoes had a goat cheese taste to it and I don't care for goat cheese. The drinks were not the average coke/Pepsi type drinks more like flavored seltzers and lemonades. read more

The place has gone remarkably downhill. Party of 3 for dinner. Long wait before anything comes out, then everyone's meal comes at vastly different times. One meal incomplete and another one cold. Sent back the cold one only to have them send back the exact same plate, still cold. Wrote their customer service before leaving a negative review and got back a very generic, seemingly AI generated response. Bla bla bla, we'll try to do better, bla bla bla. If the food is average at best, if the service is beyond bad, and if the business just doesn't seem to care, why go there? The manager at the restaurant did offer a $5 gift card for our trouble. How awesome, so next time I could spend $70 instead of $75 to be disappointed! No thanks, too many other places to try. Highly recommend not going there. read more

Wanted to try this place for a quick lunch pick up. Was excited to see a gourmet BLT on menu. I love a good BLT. I figured this one would be extra tasty with big slices of good tomatoes and lots of bacon and lettuce. Well...if you like bread that's what you get. Seriously. Really disappointing. This is our favorite "fast food." The amount of gluten free options here makes me wish there were more locations in Central/North Inland San Diego. Please expand to Poway ha! Their house made buns/bread are the best, I always buy a couple extra to make breakfast sandwiches with the next day. We come here every time we go to the beach, and usually get take out. Their GF chicken strips are one of the few meals my daughter can (and will) safely eat outside the house, and I can't even think of anyone else who has a similar kids meal! Everywhere else is just chicken breast and steamed veggies if there's a need for something allergen friendly and that gets old quickly for kids under 12! Customer service is pretty good, the staff are helpful but almost always completely slammed with how busy it can get during the dinner hour. We haven't had a truly bad experience yet, although sometimes an order of fries is missing, likely just due to how quickly they are packing things up. read more

If you want hair in your food eat here. I'll be filing a complaint with the health department as well. This establishment stated they couldn't give us a refund for our meal because it was "out of their control" that their was what could have been dog hair or human hair.
